Dave called within the first 24 hours of my request. Gave me a quote on the spot when we met. We agreed on a start date and his team: Roberto and Bardo where on time first thing in the morning. They were professional, on time and they cleaned after themselves. The work was done as premised in timely manner, and No surprise fees or additional costs during or after the job. They stayed around to make sure I walked through the house without any objections or concerns and cleaned up and left, leaving no mess behind. Contractors like these men are hard to find and they should be recognized for their work and appreciated for their professionalism. I contacted Dave at DJ Laguna Flooring and was very impressed with his quick response. He arrived at my home early and went right to work measuring my kitchen floor. Dave is very personable and professional. The quote was within my budget, and the removal/replacement of my floor was scheduled within a few days. The technicians arrived on time and started work immediately. At 3:00 p.m. I received a call from my tenants, and they were very happy with the work and knowledge of the technicians. Photos of the new flooring were texted to me, and I was also very satisfied. I would definitely recommend this company and will keep them in mind for future projects.

Everything seemed fine at first. The manager came in, discussed the project, and asked what we wanted done. From day one, however, I realized I would need to be present at all times because I quickly lost trust and confidence in the team. They showed up and left whenever they wanted, despite assuring us they could meet the agreed timeline. The workers were unfamiliar with the layout we requested, and the project exceeded the scheduled completion date. What should have taken three days ended up taking a full week, causing me to incur additional out-of-pocket expenses for lodging. I constantly had to direct the workers and monitor their work; otherwise, they would do things incorrectly or not as requested. To make matters worse, the manager later claimed they needed to charge extra for “leveling the floor,” which they presented as a major issue across the entire house—when in reality, it was a small area. Furniture was damaged, and dried cement was left on walls and blinds. On the final day, cleanup was assigned to a single worker—an older woman—who physically could not lift heavy trash bags filled with broken tiles or rugs. With no proper help, I stepped in and assisted her using my own cart, even though this should not have been my responsibility. To add insult to injury, while helping, I was rudely told by a driver that I was loading the trailer incorrectly and ordered to redo the work, which I refused. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a company. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, who initially said he would reduce the cost, but then tried to increase the price above the original $7,000 agreement, citing the unnecessary “leveling” work.

Dave was prompt, professional, and provided quality work at a reasonable price. Would definitely hire him again. Don’t hesitate.

Dave was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and gave us a great price for a job well done. He was able to find a very close match to our existing flooring. Great experience.

Well organized and professional team. Work was done quickly and efficiently.

They missed a few â final touchesâ like caulking the 1/4 rounds and cleanup was good, but did not get all the fine dust in the work area. Also driveway was not swept clean.

Absolutely pleased with David and his men. The installation of the vinyl plank flooring was perfect and done quickly and the price was right. Now looking to have him do some carpeting needs for us. 100% recommend !!

Great communication. Very easy process to engage and work with them. I know Iâ  ll hire again for the next project. Great service from first to last day. Dave and crew took on a project to install VCT. They made great recommendations on approach and options, and the work was done fast and with great attention.

Put LVP in the lower lever of the house. They did a fantastic job. Affordable fast and the workers were really nice. We also ordered to have carpet put in the upstairs but in the last minute they told us the carpet was no longer available.

I would definitely hire them again. Their work was not only professional but they finished in record time. They above and beyond to complete the work just the way we wante4d it.

Dave and his team went above and beyond expected duties. My project was definitely less traumatic with their help in completing the renovation of my two flooded bathrooms! I will contact them again if needed in the future.

They brought the wrong laminate. Then told me they would have to go to another warehouse to see if they could find the correct match. In the meantime they have my $700.00 deposit and no work has been started! I am extremely upset.

David was so easy to work with. Anytime I had questions, my calls would be answered. Work always started as planned and they worked though completion. Very happy with this company and their work. Flooring was installed though out downstairs, completed with baseboards.

Initial quote and work was good. However, there were issues on install of bad floor sections (broken laminate sections, not lined up square, bad cuts). Trying to get back out was very painful to schedule and call backs were non existent. 2 years later we needed another change to carpet. Dave came out and said would provide quote the next day. Several text later we received no response back and was very similar to getting back out to fix from initial install.

The experience was great he was very reasonable and was willing to work with me on the price his crew did a great job
