Steve is absolutely excellent. I initially had him install new Harvey windows and a new front door and Bay window in my home. They came out great. During our initial conversations, I mentioned I was also looking for a new roof and new deck. He completed both of those jobs as well. I could not be happier with the results. He is always available, and responds to both emails and texts in timely manner. Almost unheard of in the contracting world. We absolutely love our new deck and the roof and windows have really updated our home. It was a pleasure to work with Steve and I will continue to recommend him to family, friends and coworkers.

The job is about replacing 6 old windows with Harvey vinyl and two interior doors. David is very responsive. He gave me a quote immediately. The whole process is actually quite smooth. They arrive on time, clean and vacuum all the wastes. I can feel they are very professional. They finish all the work in one morning including caulking which is amazing. However, they seems to be in rush. Although overall quality is ok, I find some details which are not well taken care of. For example, the frame around the door is not placed even. The caulking is not thorough. I can still see the crack. I plan to paint by myself to make them look better. Based on their professionalism, they can do better. Next time, I will ask them to slow down. Still want to hire them for the basement remodeling.

David responded quickly to my request for a quote . The price was reasonable and I was extremely happy with the end result. Replaced 2 large drafty picture windows with Harvey insulated sliding windows. They had to square the new framing because of the house settling and to shape new aluminum trim around the casings. They also foam insulated around both windows. Also replaced 2 older windows in the attic with Harvey windows and foam sealed around both. The workmen were very skilled and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely hire DLM for any future projects.

The two person crew finished the job in about 3 hours. After the windows were installed, the crew painted the exterior woodwork.

This is the second time we used DLM Remodeling. A few years ago they replaced our windows and had a great experience. We now needed to replace our siding and doors. We decided on James Hardie fiber cement. The process was smooth and they are very professional. The work was done as promised and on time. The house looks great and Dave the owner is very responsive to questions and concerns, he always returns phone calls. Would definitely recommend!

DLM is fantastic - excellent communication before, during and after the project. Highly responsive. The crew was wonderful, efficient and did quality work. Dave was great. He 'owned' all the details even though some of it was subcontractors doing the work. The guy he got to do the portico was outstanding. The whole job was done in just a few days; for each part, there was a crew of several guys every day, all day. Each part - replacement windows, new bay window, portico and siding -- was a different crew, but each did really quality work with attention to details. We were very happy with the results.

We were very pleased! We interviewed and got estimates from a half dozen other firms before finally finding Steve. He understood what we wanted and the level of expense we were interested in. Steve was courteous and very helpful to us in thinking through what we did and did not want done. The start of work took longer than I would have liked (but I hear that this is endemic in the contracting world). Once the work got underway, it proceeded incredibly quickly; the team was here 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., including weekends, until the job was done. The siding looks gorgeous, and the deck is what we wanted!

DLM was extremely professional. They arrived on time for every scheduled meeting, replied to emails in a timely fashion, and completed the contracted work with speed and attention to detail. Out of the 3 quotes we received for our job, DLM was by far the most affordable and was also using higher quality siding than the other 2 companies. We have a house in Arlington that has been in our family for approx. 80 years that had fallen into complete disrepair and was in major need of a facelift.  we were the ugliest house on the street, without question.  I called multiple companies for bids, and I decided to use DLM after  mainly because Dave was the most responsive owner who actually seemed like he really wanted the business.  He came out to the house right away and met me to see what I wanted to do.  I felt comfortable from him from the beginning, as i asked many, many questions, and he patiently answered every one.  We went back and forth with very quick responses from him via email as i worked myself through the process of deciding exactly what I wanted to do (with his guidance).  I settled on having 35 windows replaced, and a full siding/aluminum trim job on my entire home, which was a pretty big project in my mind, as its a two family home, and there didnt seem to be any surfaces that werent in need of major work.  Dave assured me they did this all the time and if I chose his company I would be blown away by the results.  He was right.  The 35 windows were replaced in approx. 1.5 days of work,  The siding project, which was LITERALLY removing every piece of old shingle and then replacing 99% of our home with a new facade, was started on a friday, the guys returned on Monday, worked through the week including Saturday from 730 until 630 or later every night with MINIMAL breaks in HOT weather in August up on scaffolding. They took Sunday off, then completed the job on Monday.  The guys worked non stop.  I am blown away by the transformation.  My mother, who owns the house, cried when she saw the results.  Ive had multiple people go out of their way to stop me to tell me we now have the best looking house on the street.  if you had seen what our house looked like before, you would understand what a huge deal this is.  Throughout the process, people walking by would stop to stare and talk about the results.  I had two different people YESTERDAY who i dont know approach me outside of my house to get the contractors name and number.  The biggest compliment that I can give Dave and his workers at DLM, is that as they were cleaning up my house, getting ready to leave on the final day, my mother took Dave aside to ask her when she could talk to him about a project she wants to do at her house, and I was trying to convince him to allow me to get back on the schedule so I could pay him for more work.  If you would like a reference, my email is roconnor4444@rcn.com and I will gladly vouch for them, as I couldn't be happier with the results or their professionalism from start to finish. Steve at DLM was fantastic from beginning to end. We originally got a quote in February 2016, but didn't end up having him do the work until 2017. He honored his prior quote, which was nice. He was great to work with... his team got our windows (cape with dormers and hoppers) done in less than a day and siding in 2 days (he quoted us 7 business days for everything). The work was professional, the guys were great, and it was done quickly and correctly. I would definitely hire him again for home improvement, and plan to call him in the future. The crew was prompt, professional, and personable, and did a superb, meticulous job at a fair price on a large, challenging task. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them highly.

Price was pretty consistent with everybody. We got ten estimates and they were all within $300-400 of each other. They are dependable; they provide good service. I would have no qualms about saying use them. As a matter of fact, I recommended them to my neighbor who is getting some window work done. The nice thing about it is that the owners of the company are hands on. They are actually out here pounding nails with everybody else. The workers are fantastic. Watching them work was like watching a ballet. They all know exactly what they’re doing and they all move as one unit; it’s a team. Their whole team approach works extraordinarily well. They cleaned up after themselves. I couldn’t find a stray piece of wood in the yard. And they had a lot of work to do because they had to take out and re-frame the whole thing. It wasn’t just pop them out, pop them in, it was a whole big project. They were wonderful.

Steve and his team were fantastic, couldn't ask for a better experience. His guys were polite, clean, and very respectful of our home. The windows are fantastic and our house looks terrific. Steve fix a bunch of rot as they found it and I couldn't be happier.

David was one of the more responsive and professional contractors I've worked with over the years. Price was a little higher than some others, but he offered a superior product and I was confident in their ability to deliver high quality work. The job only had one slight snafu where the front windows had to be done from the inside vs the outside. Original plan was to do them from the outside to avoid any damage or nail marks in my interior window trim, but when they came to do the work they said it wasn't recommended to do them from the outside. I was a little annoyed about having to put nail marks in my nice window trim in my living room after being told that would not have to happen, but all in all it's not that noticeable. There were 4 guys there to do the work and they finished the job in about 3 1/2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves too, including vacuuming my floors.

Everything was perfect! Dave could not have been easier to work with. His crew was friendly, efficient, neat and cleaned up after themselves. Dave did not "hard sell" but informed me of my options and his recommendations to meet my needs. I could not be happier and would recommend him in a heartbeat.
