Doctor Landscaping

My in laws hired this company to complete removal and replacement of new sod on their front yard. They are in their late 60?s and Chris Mitchell took full advantage of them. His team broke several pieces of the irrigation system that had to be replaced. My father in law purchased another pallet of grass himself direct from the sod yard and installed it himself to correct the issues after 45 days of nothing being addressed. Chris charged a huge sum of money and when paid he stoped responding. My in laws have given Chris several opportunities to correct the issues. When he failed to even attempt to correct the dead sod installation or broken sprinkler heads my father in law paid more money to correct the damages. I would highly warn anyone who is thinking of hiring this company to be diligent and do their research first.

This company took advantage of my elderly parents charging $8000 to install new sod on their front yard and spread landscape rocks they had previously purchased into the front flower beds. They broke several sprinkler heads and refused to correct that situation- in return more money and time spent repairing their damages. 1/3 of the installed sod died and they came by and placed half of the needed sod on the driveway? to which they left for 5 days and won?t answer the phone. My elderly father had to exchange the dead sod pieces himself bc of lack of commmunication from Chris and follow through. The issues and work have been fully documented and we will share our experiences with anyone who would like more details.

I did my due diligence and obtained multiple quotes for sod installation. Chris with Doctor Landscaping gave a very reasonable quote. By comparison, it was a rather small job (1350 sq ft), but Chris treated it like a larger one. Excellent customer service, very responsive, and kept me informed during each stage of the project. Showed up for the estimate and the job when he said he would, and finished the job even sooner than my expectations. I'm happy with his work and would highly recommend him for any of your landscaping needs. Good price, good work, and even better customer service. You'll be glad you chose this 'doctor'..

YES! Actually created 104 feet of drainage pipe to help relieve the pooling water in the backyard to relieve water pooling and to send it out the front yard and relieve of the soggy 20 x 20 space in the backyard. Also came back out discovering the nature of the gumbo stipe dirt in Memphis came back and resorted for about a 10 x 15 space in that area of relief where the grass was not Bermuda, but was some sort of a rye or zoysia. now the draining of the backyard area works much better. But also equally important his demeanor, his personnel that he helps do the landscape architecture, corrections, and timelines of coming to do the follow up care. I was all very well orchestrated and very professional, but he is extremely nice knowledgeable and you know he has a sense of humor so he’s good to work with and so is his personnel who are pretty pretty straightforward about getting the work done and they did so good on them. I recommend them.

Chris and Jose are very friendly and were willing to work with us for our brick repair and our French drain installation. Communication was excellent and the work was done promptly. I am very impressed with the quality of work done. I would highly recommend Doctor Landscaping.

Work included cutting/ chiseling out old mortar, replacing damaged stones, mortar and then apply three coats of sealant. Porch now looks like new.
