Domi came to our home to give us an estimate on 10/17/25 late Am. I decided to go with him. He seemed to know his stuff & was very persuasive on the type of sod we should use from his supplier. Went on & on about bitter blue , raved about bitter blue & guaranteed we d love the plush green thick bitter blue
so we said okay. We had Floratan here in Fl. Our house, community homes, etc., after we agreed on his knowledge & cost, I said do it. After he left, we thought about it. We felt a bit pushed on his supplier
who would need to get it in & with Domi himself. After he left & thought about it, we called Domi & said we had changed our mind. Well.. he started getting all defensive, saying his crew is on the way right now & that he already ordered the Bitter blue from his supplier. By the way, what crew is coming to your house to start a job at 5 Pm on a Friday?? Which made us more concerned that his crew was available to start a job instantly. They start the job & leave about 2 hrs later. They came back Saturday afternoon & waited for sod delivery. Yes, the same sod that had to be ordered!! His crew
we NEVER SAW DOMINAGO AGAIN, started tossing that sod down so fast!! I ve never seen a bunch of very young men placing new sod that fast!! They come back Sunday Am, never roll over the sod or fill in spaces between pieces. Just tossed them there. We never expected this job to go that fast. We expected Domni to be on site or at least come at the end of the job to look, go over, ask if we were happy, etc. he never came back. His crew cleaned up & got ready to leave in record time!! They were only there for about 2 hrs. They were getting ready to leave & Domis's son(one of the crew) spoke to his dad on the phone. His father said get the money for the job. My response to him was never did I expect you to come on a Sunday & I expected your dad to come look & speak to us. I don t have money now. I told him to have his father come tomorrow for the money, speak to me & go over the job. Well, Domi came next Am & wasn t to thrilled about having to come. We must ve been a quick, fast fill-in job with extra Bitter Blue sod or something. The 1st time we called him after the job was 10/27/25. We called because there were areas of large spaces & gaps between pieces. I asked him to come back to meet with me so I can show him
. He said they ll join, it ll fill in!! I explained that sod is instant gratification! I m not going to wait a month & hope it fills in
. Some spaces were significantly larger than others. He had a bad & tough attitude!! Said he d come & look, but it was definitely under protest! I ask when so I could be here? He gave me a time & I waited all day for him!! I call to say I waited all day for you & Domi got really loud, rude, arrogant & nasty & says What s the matter, you think I m going to steal your shit from you?!!! What kind of response is that?!!! He never came!! Then I called him couple weeks later
this time was because I was getting large areas that were dead & spreading!! All over!! As a matter of fact, after my job & before they were leaving, there was extra sod left over. My neighbor's front lawn was just st about gone from being weed-whacked by the community gardeners. So I asked him if he wanted to pay the guys to put the rest of my sod down for him. Both parties agreed. Well, his dog is dead too!! I again called Domi & he didn t want to be bothered & ZNO, he did not come. He said to send him pics, which I did, along with my neighbors from lawn. I never heard from him!!! Those areas have spread & are covering most of my new lawn!!! That bitter blue had to be diseased!!! 1. It started as crop circles & patches, then spread & grew bigger in record time!!
