From the appointment with the estimator (Yes, he showed up and on time!!!) to the removal of our old roof and the installation of the new one was incredible! The communication with the ladies in the office was super. We knew exactly where we were at all times and when we did have a question the call/email was responded to quickly. The crew that showed up were very courteous and professional, did a great job and cleaned up afterward. Having owed my own business for 20 years I regard customer service and satisfaction #1, I would highly recommend Done Rite Roofing.

These guys are the best. They gave me a quote and did the work on schedule and were very good cleaning up so there was no mess. I give them an A1 and would highly recommend them for any job big or small.. Love their name.. Get it done rite..

I don't know what the problem is with Done Rite and Angie's List that resulted in Angie's fraud warning. All I can tell you is that I had an excellent experience. Called for an estimate and got a prompt response and an estimate. Negotiated a few things in the proposed contract and satisfactorily signed said contract. Asked for scheduling in mid November and was placed on schedule for said time. Actually, I could not have picked a worse date, since the first hurricane/tropical storm in 22 years in November struck in the middle of my scheduled week. Nonetheless, the crew, lead by a great crew leader Maggy (spelling ? ) showed up on Tuesday and completely removed my old roof. I previously had numerous leaks, which had resulted in a lot of stained and rotten plywood. I was concerned about being sure to replace all the plywood that was stained on the underside, as I was worried that at a later date when I sell the house, that someone would see the black water stained from inside the attic. The crew was very careful to inspect the underside of my plywood. I was most pleased with what they replaced. By 6 pm on the first night they had the underlayment applied. Then the storm hit and it rained hard for two days. To my amazement, I only had two minor leaks which Maggy fixed the morning of the second storm day. On the next clear day, they applied all the shingles and vents, as well as built up the flat roof so that it drained correctly and applied the flat roof covering. Then, they did an excellent job of cleaning my property. So, in essence, on a 3200 square foot (a/c space ) they did the reroofing in two full days. Amazing !! Cannot recommend them highly enough. Everybody I dealt with throughout the process was excellent and helpful.

Done Rite transfomed my 1970s Palm Harbor home look like a million bucks. We has our 18 year old shingle roof replaced with metal qnd had gutters added. Done Rite did an excellent job from start to finish. The staff and communication was exceptional. Every call and email was answered the same day. We had several roofing estimates prior to calling Done Rite. I only called them because I heard they had such good reviews. I called them the week before Christmas so they obviously could not come out until after Christmas. This was not an issue. I felt that waiting was going to be well worthwhile. Alan came out and did our estimate on 12-28-15. He was very thorough and I felt they would be a good company to hire. I was told that he would give the estimate to the office and I would have it the next morning before 10AM. This did not happen. On the 30th in the afternoon I emailed and asked them if they could please send the estimate to me so that we could hire a roofer. I did finally receive the estimate on 12-31-15. The estimate was not the cheapest but we felt that they had the best materials and the best ratings. We attempted to contact them beginning 1-4-16. This should have been my red flag to not hire them but we were trying to be patient with the holidays and all. We left several messages and sent several emails to not receive any response. Eventually, I spoke to the owner; Jason and his wife Christina. After speaking to Jason we decided to go ahead and hire them. The paperwork was notarized and the deposit of $2400.00 was made immediately. Jason assured us it would be completed in 2 weeks. Once the check was cashed we did not hear from them again. This began a long, drawn out process of hoping and praying they would actually do the job they were hired to do. Done Rite had every excuse from rain, to hiring new people, etc. It seemed if it rained one day, it would delay their schedule a full week. They also apparently do not work weekends. I do not know why they would not work weekends if they were behind in schedule but that should be another red flag.Eventually I told her I was contacting the BBB and suddenly they came out to pull the old shingles off. That was 6 weeks after the deposit was made. The crew came out to remove the old shingles and it did rain while they were doing it. They were hard workers and friendly. Out of the entire crew, only 1 person spoke a word of English. They left a mess in my yard, cans, hats, nails, shingles, small pieces of wood, etc all over the place. They also left the gate wide open to my yard. They did however complete the removal that day. Then it was a wait again....Every time I called the office I would get another date or a new excuse, that was when they actually answered. They never return phone calls. Then they came up with new excuses from, rotten wood that wasn't noticed originally or more peaks, higher pitch, etc. Our roof is not that high and our house is not that big. If there were issues why did the first 2 crews not notice them? I should also mention that the customer service of this company is a huge mess! They do not have anyone who knows what they are doing in the office and then once someone actually gets to your house, they never knock. The original estimator knocked to let me know he was there. The estimator is a big reason why we hired them. The roofers just start banging, they never knock or even speak a word to you. This is very unprofessional. They also do not call if they cannot come out. I questioned them on this and they said they don't have time to call when things change. They will call only to get the shingle and drip edge colors but they do not call to let you know they cannot make a scheduled appointment. Anyways, back to the revue....Eventually I was able to reach the owners wife, Christina. She told me flat out that we could have just tar paper on the roof for 90 days and it would be fine! That was the last straw. I began a complaint with the BBB and suddenly they had time to come out. Once they began the roof they must have sent the slowest couple on the face of the earth to shingle it. It took them another entire week to shingle the roof. They never once knocked on the door, they arrived at 8-9am and set up. They were gone by noon for an hour and then they were gone for the day by 3pm. No wonder it took so long to shingle it! Eventually the roof was finished and I have to say that it does look great! The finished product is very nice.The headache it took to get to this point was definitely not worth it though. We could have had someone else do it for less money and much faster. They took so long to come out that the leaking roof caused additional damage to the front wall in my house. That had to be ripped out & replaced. The finished product was good. I still found nails in tires & shoes months later! Tires were getting quite expensive.

What had happened is they did the work, everything seemed fine. No problems, we thought, with the way it was done. When we went to sell the house in 2015, we failed the home owner’s inspection because they did work, they replaced rafters over the garage, which they were not supposed to do. Therefore, we lost a sale of the house. When I contacted them, they said, “Oh, no we don’t do that.” But, meanwhile, I had paperwork showing where they charged us for the rafters and that they said that they were going to do that. It was a big mess. We went to the county permitting because I had to have work done to repair it. Initially, we thought it was going to cost $20,000 because they thought they were going to have to take the whole roof off.  Luckily, they were able to just do repairs. It still cost us $2,600. It delayed our closing by three months. Luckily, we had another back-up buyer, but we had to make these repairs and it cost us the money to get it repaired, plus the delay. Meanwhile, we were paying two mortgages. So, it was a total mess. They denied ever doing anything with it. When we went to the permitting department, my husband asked them, “Then, how could that have passed inspection?” The man at the permit office said, “Well, because they didn’t put that on the permit, because they weren’t supposed to touch it, so, therefore, the inspector didn’t look for it.” We went to the Pinellas County licensing board. We filed the complaint. I got a letter from them saying that they found probable cause and that they were going to notify us what happened. Pinellas County licensing board now is in the process of revamping it, so we never heard anything back after that. They need to be honest and not do what they were not licensed to do. They went above and over what their license allowed. The price was not cheap. It was expensive, but we needed to get it done. The reason we went with them was because we heard they were a good company, so we were willing to pay the extra money thinking we were going to get a good quality for it. They blew me off when I contacted them and complained. They did not respond.

My experience with Done Rite Roofing was GREAT. I experience outstanding workmanship & great customer service. The crew was not only neat and tidy but they communicated with me throughout the whole project. The office staff I would like to recognize because they also answered all my questions and concerns I had in a timely manner. Everyone one in the office I spoke with was professional, polite & very quick to respond back to me. Done Rite roofing is a authorized installer for VELUX and so Velux asked me to contact this company for my solar tube installation.THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE JOB as i already have the velux installed to the roof but not the extensions to the ceiling . DoneRite gave me a quote after looking at the job. They asked me to pay upfront. After few postponements Peter came in to do the job. He exactly knows what he is doing and explained me what he would be doing and did the same. He actually saved a lot of materiel to me which I can just return it to the manufacturer.

For roofing needs I chose Done Rite Roofing out of Palm Harbor and they were excellent.  They got it done and I got like 3 solar tubes put in, it made a big difference, so it's great.  They did it last May of 2016.  The pricing was actually good.  I got three estimates and they were the best price.  For what I paid, I got a lot more extra.  It was a little over $13,000.  It's a 2200 square foot house, I actually have a flat roof on one big room in the back here, and they actually replaced a lot of the wood that went under that, they put new siding around it, and so forth.  They did a 130 mile impact thing.  They put vent on the whole top of the roof so all the hot air get out of the attic.  It took a month for everything.  Everything was cleaned up perfectly.  It went really well. 

My house is 30 years ago. I was pleased with them. It was done within a day. They had about 15 people here to do the work. I have recommended to friends.

Yes, they were punctual. They were professional, quality material. Good price. They cleaned up well after themselves. The work took about three days, maybe four. The workers were very friendly, and professional.

The work is been A, the product is an A. I don't have anything bad to say about them but they took a couple weeks to do it. It took maybe more than two weeks to do it. <br /> <br /> The workers themselves, we found a couple of beer cans around the place and soda cans and you know, I won't bad mouth them because I got a great price on it and I just moved in this house in April and in my other house I had a small flat roof over my [08:28] done and they did that and they were great. That was perfect.

Done Rite roofing does it RIGHT. We not only have their roof that they did along with the chimney work they did, but they also guarantee their work for many years. They were very responsive when we called them after the hurricane after we found that there was a slight leak coming from the roof/chimney. They had their people come out several times to assess the issue and to fix it QUICKLY. We definitely appreciate their work and their warranty is best in the industry. This is a family run business and we definitely would use them again in the future. They will surely make sure that you get top notch treatment and the warranty is definitely wonderful to have from a good business.

The crews at Done Rite Roofing just finished up installing our new roof and we couldn't be more pleased. They came in with a group of about 5 guys and each one worked harder then the next. They were very careful of our landscaping and pool area. Everything when finished was cleaned up spotless. I just felt it was the right thing to do and write such a rewarding review. Just wanted to write a quick review on our experience with Done Rite Roofing. We ended up replacing our old tile roof after it started to leak on us the last few years, it's almost 20 years old. We ended up replacing it with fiberglass shingles by Owens Corning. The whole process went smooth with no issues to think of. The color we chose came out looking really nice. Just wanted to give an appreciation to the workers who worked effortlessly during a stretch of some hot days. They truly are some hard workers!!

Recently we made an appt. with Done Rite Roofing to have someone come out and inspect our roof for repairs and possible replacement. Tom was the gentleman assigned to the job. From the moment he arrived we felt as though we had known him forever. Not only is he professional and personable, but he was "happy" to help us out with whatever our needs would be and never acted as though this was a "job", but more of a pleasure to be there for us. He inquired as to our concerns and thoroughly inspected our roof. The repairs were explained in full detail and the quote was certainly "wallet friendly". Tom's customer service skills are "OUTSTANDING"! His knowledge and skill set of this craft are remarkable. He came back promptly the next day and completed the job for us. Thank you Tom, we really appreciate your hard work! It was a pleasure meeting you and we are grateful for all of your help. We certainly will be using this company in the future for a new roof when it is needed.

So we just had our leaky roof replaced by this company. We got the usual 3 estimates and did our homework from that. We ended up choosing Done Rite Roofing. Job started a little past the scheduled start date but we attributed that to the weather. Job was finshed on time with no surprises, just a little rotted wood from past roof leaks. We chose them because of the products and warranty offered but mainly cause they complete roofs for our friends and family
