My house and garage flooded in July, with some minor damage to the garage door that was somewhat cosmetic but the sensors had been underwater. I thought a tuneup and new rollers would be helpful and that I could also hire them to clean the door and replace the sensors also. I purchased the deal in late August, and they came in early September. Instead of performing the service I had already paid for at the very least and/or replacing the sensors (which needed to be done) they proclaimed that my garage door opener was shot, the door was the wrong size and did nothing but give me a quote for a new door and opener. This was interesting because the garage door worked except that I couldn't use the remote. I subsequently replaced the sensors myself and everything has worked fine ever since. As I never did get the tuneup and roller replacement that I paid for I tried contacting them to either have the work performed or get a refund. After several calls and emails, Angies List was able to determine that A Better Garage Door Service changed its name to Door Pros and moved to Tennessee. So I guess the daily deal was just a way for them to line their pockets before skipping town. Buyer Beware - even with a good rating from Angies List. Do NOT hire Door Pros - they are just charlatans out to take your money.

He was honest, punctual and all went well.

Replaced metal rollers with new plastic rollers per the original "deal". Provider suggested replacing the lower section of door track to help with alignment even though it did not look warped or otherwise worn. Door movement was somewhat improved, but did not fix all issues 100%. Provider promised to return at a later time and keep working on the problem, but it never happened. The original door track was probably not an issue, and I let myself get talked into the replacement when the roller replacement did not produce much improvement.

It went extremely well. We had initially asked them to do a tune-up on our old, creaky garage doors. Justin did an inspection and showed us what was still good and what was broken or about to break (more than we thought). We said we'd been thinking about replacing the doors, and asked Justin what our options would be and how much it would cost. Justin showed us various styles and types, and price was lower than we had expected. We ended up ordering two new doors and also replacement of one of the old garage door openers. Justin gave us an anticipated date and we made a down payment. A few days before the planned delivery and installation date, Justin called to confirm the date. On installation day Justin and Linda arrived promptly and began work. Removal of our two old garage doors (one double and one single extra height), installation of the two new doors and the new opener took a total of six hours, exactly as Justin had said it would. All work was done expertly by Justin and Linda. They explained everything, everything worked, everything looked great, and they cleaned up everything. We were extremely pleased.

It cost more than stated in Angie’s List because my door system had to be rebuilt.

They called prior to arrival, showed up on time, and did the work as agreed. What more can you ask for? While here for a tune up, we asked for a garage door spring replacement. They gave us a great price and installed it in about 30 minutes.

The service call went well. Service man was friendly, polite and went right to work. He told me the potential problems with this older model door, but said that it could last a while longer. Didn’t try to sell me anything. He lubricated the working parts of the door and made some adjustments to the rollers.

Our garage doors were too old for the promised tuneup. They did their very best to satisfy us - made some adjustments - got rid of the terrible squicking.

Very well. Only problem was that after installing several new parts the door was not oiled and it did not open well until after I did that myself. It is now fine.
