About us
With over 35 year’s experience, Door Refinishing by Jason is owner operated by Jason and Ann Ervin. Our focus is mainly refinishing front doors but has recently expanded to include Garage Doors. Often we have trained helpers with us to get the clean down phase of the projects done quickly. Payment by cash or check to Jason or Ann Ervin is required on the last day of the project.

I was very pleased with The experience. Jason had a number of options for me and helped me decide on the best for my door. I decided on a "hard maintenance" which was light sanding, stain and several layers of varnish. Jason was flexible, punctual and very friendly. I enjoyed chatting with him while he worked. I will definitely call on him again for other refinishing needs. Great work!!

Great experience. Penny and Jason were courteous, friendly and professional. They explained what they planned to do and did exactly what they described. They were always ontime and did quality work. it is becoming harder to find services that take pride in their work and preform the services as if it's their property. Penny and Jason give you that confidence and feeling. I definitely will call on them again. <br />

Real quality and pride in their work. Jason and his associate (apologies...forgot the lady's name) were totally professional and knew their craft. They sanded, stained and sealed my front door and made it look like a showpiece. Door finishing an re-finishing is all they do, and you'll be very satisfied with the work. <br />

He stripped it all the way down and repaired it. It looks like a brand new door! He was just excellent! His price was very reasonable for the work that he did!

He was excellent. He was here when he said he would be here. He quoted me a price based on the pictures I sent him, that was the price. I would definitely use him again. I would tell people to hire him. It was a good price.

Jason was very professional and punctually. Door was taken off hinges and sanded down to accomadate stain the 1st day. His suggestion for stain was right-on for previous stain. He followed up the next 3 days to put 3 layers of varnish. Door looks better than original state. Jason even install new hardware for our door - free of charge. I highly recommend him for solid wooden doors. Thanks Jason :) <br />

We found him on Angie’s List and saw that it all looked good and we did use him and we’re very, very happy with the experience. Considering all of his trips and time, it was a reasonable price. I think he did a wonderful job.

The result was having a great looking door again. Jason's work is first class and doesn't come cheap, but the work is done correctly and he's happy to share his knowledge and the details of proper maintenance. He came out once to inspect and bid on the job, once to strip the door and apply the first coat of stain, again to apply the second coat of stain, and three times to apply the varnish. <br />

Received estimate from Jason and made an appointment to refinish the front door. He showed up right on time with Ann and Nick. They quickly setup, removed the hardware from the door and took the door off of the hinges. They carefully stripped the old finish off and then stained the door with my choice of color. The door was then rehung and hardware put back on. Jason then came back three separate days to apply varnish. <br /> Jason showed up on time each day and called each evening to make sure everything was okay and confirm the next appointment. <br /> He is very professional and is a expert at refinishing doors with many years of experience. <br /> If your door needs refinishing, call Jason! <br /> <br />

I was very satisfied with his work. You can tell that he has a lifetime experience with doors and he knows his job very well. He knows what is doing and did a fabulous job. He is probably cheaper than some of the guys.

We were at the point of replacing our front door as it had been neglected and then mistreated by someone else we hired to refinish the door a year ago. The other man charged $200 and almost completely ruined it, taking off much of the door detail and leaving a finish that deteriorated so rapidly that much of the original wood was exposed to the weather. I thought it may not be salvageable. For someone else without Jason's expertise, it may have been, but Jason brought it back to life and made it look beautiful again! It would have cost less if we'd had him refinish it sooner, but it was still an enormous savings over replacing and finishing a new door. Jason was professional, prompt, and extremely conscientious about his work. Apparently, the outside humidity makes a great deal of difference with the varnish work. He drove to our house one day to add a coat of varnish, but left without varnishing after checking the humidity again which had gone up during his hour drive. Though inconvenient for him in both time and gas spent, he put off adding a coat though he was already at our house so that the end result would be perfect and lasting. He was easy to work with and very accommodating. We will be using him again when the time arrives. We recommend him highly!

Jason was referred to me by a friend who also had her front door refinished. I called Jason and he came out to look at the job within a couple days. His bid was fair so we hired him and scheduled the job. It was a 4 process, 4 day job. Not only did Jason do an outstanding job, he was very prompt and very professional. If he said he'd be at our house at 10:30 he was there at 10:30 or even earlier. My front door is beautiful again.
