Doors-R-Us

Rodney Reichstadt showed up and measured our garage for a new overhead door. He said that he needed to order the door and needed the money to pay for it at the time it was ordered so we gave him the $4,900 that he requested (end of Sept.)The job included a new track to be squared, spring, doors, and remote. We were told that it was a 6-week lead time but he assured us that it would be installed "before the snow flies" and that he could get everything squared so that it would work for us. We have had 5 different scheduled appointments to have the work done but he never showed nor notified us to reschedule. We have made numerous phone calls and sent several emails which go unanswered or any answers have been untruths such as - "his whole crew has covid" and "his crew was just in a bad accident", and "he just mailed the check". This person is totally untrustworthy and definitely not a professional. We are on a limited income and the impact of this injustice weighs heavy on our lives. As a senior and a veteran, I believe we were scammed. Stay clear of him and his dishonesty. REBUTTAL TO PROVIDER RESPONSE: When we called to see if the door was in, he told us, yes and he set up our first scheduled appointment with him to come to do the job that we had already paid for. It doesn't make sense to schedule an appointment with someone that you do not have the materials for to do. So, why would he schedule a time with us on 5 different occasions if he did not have the door? Why did he make up all of those excuses why he did not show up. Why did he lie to us and tell us that it had come in?

Got the doors installed, but they never came back to put the trim on. have text them numerus times and now they don't even respond.

Rodney and his assistant (his name escapes me) were awesome. When he initially came he found that the door and frame we'd already purchased weren't the right size for our door. He advised us what to buy and when it came in, he went the extra mile to pick it up for us, and he also made a trip to get a new piece of framework we needed. They were quick with the installation, fixed any issues that popped up and did a great job. I'd hire them again for sure.

Went great. Did a nice job. Kept me informed of timeline. Cleaned up after job complete. Definitely recommend and have another door to have them price for me in future.

I would 100% hire this company again. We were on a tight timeline and needed to have our garage service door replaced as part of selling our home. They were very easy to work with. They explained what they did and why. My door has been frosting on the inside (house) for years and didn't know how to fix it. I had no insulation in the framing, thanks so much. I thought I needed a brand new door, they told me they could fix the one I had and save me money. Thank you again.

They were very professional and did a great job installing the doors. Rodney has gone above the job with helping me to replace a door that was warped. Would definitely hire again or recommend them highly.

Great! I struggled for more than a year trying to find someone to come and do this work on my steps. It got so bad that I was afraid the steps would collapse under me. Postal carriers and delivery people wouldn't walk on them either, that's how bad they were. I did yet another search for help and came Doors.R.Us and their associated handyman service. I sent a note and got a response shockingly fast. Rod scheduled a time with me to come look at my project. On that day when he knew he was behind schedule, he let me know right away. Communication is really important and they understand that. They performed the work quickly and I'm happy to say my steps are much safer. I will not hesitate to hire them again for future work. (In fact, we've already talked about replacing those steps next spring.)

Unbelievable level of service. They have a goal of getting to your project within 24 hours of reaching out. They were at my house within 2 hours of me calling. Amazing. They not only were fast to act, but also went though my other doors to verify acceptable condition. The degree of customer service is unmatched and frankly, refreshing in today's fast past world. Can't recommend enough....I'm now a lifelong customer. Awesome.

Rodney and Jeff installed our front door today. My husband and I are completely satisfied with their work. They arrived on time and were very efficient. Both Rodney and Jeff are professional and their work is exemplary. We highly recommend them and will definitely call them for any repairs or installation in the future.
