Tom first of all pressure-washed my home's entire exterior, then he recommended a special sealant to use before the paint job on the shake siding of my house - it worked great - all the paint work was excellent and the job was done quickly and professionally - He also did a large interior room and I noticed that he used brand-new equipment to do the job, which also turned out excellent - Tom is a good resource to know about for painting

Communication - F - never told us when coming (different every day). I didn't care, I just wanted to know if coming Quality - ceilings - F - do not let him talk you into blocking (i think thats what he called it) the ceiling vs just painting it. When it didn't come out like he said it would, it want my ceilings fault and he said he didnt know why. I reminded him that he was the painter with 15 yrs experience not me. Because he was late on Fri and it was getting dark some of the quality on the enterence was poor. He stated that if I didn't like it he would come back and redo do it. Also his patch work in the enterance was very poor and needed more patching/sanding/painting. Do a chance that I was doing to let him come back in. I completed it. Financial - on the last day he asked for the 50% of the remaining money due before starting the job.I asked why since I had a signed agreement with him that stated monies were due at completion of job. He stated that be wasnt paid on his job that am, an he was concerned that I wouldnt pay him based on the poor ceiling job. I gave him 25%and the balance at days end. I just wanted him out!! Recommendation - pass on this painter. Talks a good game but thats all.

They did a quality job with quality products and the work was done on schedule.  They had a slightly higher price then other bids I received, but they did a lot of prep work and guaranteed their work.  They made a tired looking 30+ year old house look new again. <br />

Tom came out to bid on our project on May 22, 2014.  He was very thorough in explaining how much and what type of paint would be needed.  He was reasonable and fair with his estimate.  He came to our home on June 20th and prepped the entire area first. He asked us to come into the home to see the prep work.  Once we approved, he then started spraying all the ceilings.  As he was working, he asked us to come back in to see the difference between the newly painted area and the old.  Remarkable difference.  He sprayed the textured ceilings twice with primer/paint.  He did a nice job cleaning up.  Very personable and nice to work with.  I would recommend him. <br />

We contacted Dorfner's Painting to see if they would be interested in and available to finish up a late-season painting job on our house. Tom Dorfner answered my call immediately and made arrangements to come and see the proposed project.  He came exactly as promised and gave us an estimate for the work to be done.  After talking to Tom, we had full confidence that he did work to the standards we expected.  We had to wait until the weather cooperated but Tom found a day to do the power washing.  Then we had to wait again for things to dry out enough and be warm enough to do the actual painting.  We finally got the perfect day and Tom called and said he was coming.  He did all of the work in one day and we were very happy with the results.   Tom was very exacting in the work he did and covered everything so that not a drop of paint got anywhere it shouldn't have.  We are happy to have found Tom and certainly wouldn't hesitate to have him do any exterior/interior work in the future.  If you need excellent painting work, call Tom! <br />

These guys did a great job!  It was a obvious that they have the experience & knowledge to get the job done right.  Each of the projects went really well- they even gave me some great suggestions on colors that I went with & i am so glad I did. <br /> Yes, I was very happy with the  overall results & would definitely recommend Dorfner's Painting! <br />
