It took them several weeks after the expected date to get 2 outdoor glider cushions done and multiple phone calls and visits. They are done so poorly that I got the credit card charges back (which was half the cost - the other I paid by check, lesson learned). The old cushions I gave them as a guide (and could have used fabric from in the future - was damaged on the edge) they threw out without my permission. Now I'm stuck with understuffed cushions with uneven buttons top to bottom and side to side, poor stitching and undersized roping on the edges that is wavy. I will have to have them recovered somewhere else. I'm not a crazy picky person, but this quality level is unacceptable. I have attached pictures - the fully stuffed tan one is the seat cushion, the striped is what they did. I have come to their location during their hours only to find it closed, or someone there who said he was temporarily covering. Very concerning. I have to say I'm very sad about this. I used them in the past and thought it was very well done. I will not go back and am not even going to allow them to "fix" these cushions - zero trust at this point. It appears the grandfather has transitioned the store to a son and niece. Neither seem to have the same work ethic or quality. Multiple neighbors have experienced similar issues.

My dealings with them began by calling them after doing a Yelp search.  The owner was very accommodating over the phone; after giving him the sizes he gave both a cost and time estimate. We took the cushions to their shop where the owner and his son took the time to walk us through the process while ensuring that the quality was be very good.  They were absolutly right: They started on the job right away and completed it within the couple hour time frame they quoted. <br /> They are very professional and take considerable pride in their business.  The price was good, the service was good and the quality is good.  Plus they took the necessary time to educate us in the finer points of quality chair upholstery. <br /> Highly recommend.

Great. He came with plenty of swatches from which to select texture and color. The replacement covers were very neat and more than met expectations. I had expected to pay about $100 per chair so the price was within reason.

ART WAS VERY PUNCTUAL. HE WAS VERY AWARE OF HIS TIME SCHEDULE WHEN HE WAS QUOTING TIME NECESSARY TO DO THIS JOB. THESE WERE STURDY, WELL-MADE RECLINER/ROCKERS THAT WE HAVE HAD FOR OVER 20 YEARS. THEIR ONLY FLAW WAS THAT THE FABRIC WAS OLD AND TEARING AND THE CUSHIONS WERE CRUMBLING FROM AGE. THE FABRIC WAS NOT EASY TO WORK WITH, BUT ART REFINISHED THESE CHAIRS SO THAT THEY ARE EVEN BETTER THAN BRAND NEW, AND AT A PRICE MUCH LOWER THAN IF I HAD JUST GONE OUT AND PURCHASED NEW CHAIRS. HE DID SUCH QUALITY WORK ON THESE CHAIRS THAT I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HIS WORK TO OTHERS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT A CUSTOMER REQUEST ART HIMSELF DO THE WORK, AS HE HAD SOME NEW WORKERS AT HIS SHOP THAT WERE JUST NOT MASTERS OF THE CRAFT, AS HE IS. I ALSO HAVE A TABLE SET FROM THE 1950'S -- CHROME, GREY MARBELIZED FORMICA TABLETOP, MATCHING GRAY MARBELIZED CHAIRS. THE TABLE IS STILL GOING STRONG, BUT THE COVERING ON THE CHAIRS WAS RIPPING AND THE PADDING EXPOSED. NOW THE SET LOOKS GREAT AGAIN!
