"Thank you for sharing your concerns. Dorshak Tree Specialists takes potential property damage seriously. However, we dispute several statements in this review, including the alleged extent of the hydraulic fluid, the claim that our equipment caused potholes throughout the driveway, and the suggestion that we refused to address the situation. The tree service was completed on March 21, 2025. After concerns about hydraulic fluid drops were reported, we promptly offered to clean the affected area and sent our head mechanic to the property. That offer was declined, and the customer elected to obtain an estimate from a contractor of her choosing. On June 2, 2025, the customer provided a cleaning estimate for $1,140. At her request, we applied the entire $1,140 as a credit toward her outstanding account after she stated that she would pay the remaining balance by June 15, 2025. The requested credit was provided, but the remaining balance was not paid. For many months afterward, the customer continued to acknowledge the balance and repeatedly indicated that payment would be forthcoming. We delayed collection efforts, provided requested documentation, and ultimately offered an interest-free payment plan. The customer signed that agreement on May 8, 2026, acknowledging the remaining balance. Immediately before the first scheduled payment, however, we received a new demand seeking additional compensation that had not previously been supported by an estimate or other documentation. Our photographs from the time show drops concentrated in a limited area, not a spill extending throughout the entire driveway. Historical imagery also documents visible deterioration of the driveway before our work was performed. The allegation that our equipment caused widespread potholes was not presented until more than a year after the service. The customer also submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. We provided the BBB with our photographs, correspondence, invoices, credit documentation, and payment-plan records. Following its review, the BBB closed the complaint. The matter has now been submitted to our insurance carrier for an independent review. We will continue cooperating fully and providing all requested documentation. Because that review is ongoing, we will not debate legal allegations or private account details further online. The property-damage claim and the outstanding invoice for completed tree services are separate matters. Payment of the invoice has never been presented as a condition for reviewing the claim, and the unpaid balance remains due."
