I should of been on jobsite to watch crew preform work, but I couldn't because I had to work. I didn't like the outcome of the job and was frustrated. Spoke to the owner and he fixed the issue. Some work wasn't done professionally I'm just dealing with the issue. I wouldn't hire again. Very expensive job and didn't exceed expectations. Great guy and did the job but not happy

They were responsive from the very beginning to the end. They followed up when they knew I was obtaining other estimates. The cost for material and labor was very reasonable, that a friend of mine will also be using them for their project. Will use them again. They pride themselves in customer satisfaction and will address and resolve, to the best of their ability, any concerns.

I cannot fully express how happy we are with the work that Double J Paving did at our home. They listened so attentively to our requests and concerns, and assured us they’d be able to deliver - and they definitely did! They got everything done in a very timely manner despite some minor, unavoidable delays, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of their hard work. Everyone we talked to, and worked with was so kind and professional. We spoke to a few other companies before Double J, and their customer service was far superior to the competition. This company started out great came by did a great estimate, very friendly. It went down from there. The day the project was suppose to start they didn't show. Hours later they got back to us letting us know they had a flat tire and would be out the next day, ok understandable. The next day they tore out the old concrete from our driveway and left it on our yard as well as our neighbors yard. They left, didn't mention they were done for the day. When we got ahold of the supervisor he said the truck had a flat tire and they would be by the next day to move the concrete and their bobcat. Three days later they showed up to clean up the concrete. This day they set up to pour the new concrete for the driveway, walkway, and pad. They used warped boards, alignment was uneven, and it was not to the agreed depth in places. We brought this up, they said they would fix it, but instead just poured the concrete. The next day there was all sorts of cracks, uneven concrete, spots that were much lower or higher than where they should have been. It is also lower in the center so we get standing water. Also not the depth. The supervisor came out stated it looked even, and agreed there were some mistakes and he actually used tools to measure and then agreed it needed to be corrected. The corrections fixed a few things but were still terrible. When they went to make the corrections we pointed out where we could see new problems or what wasn't fixed. They didn't fix it, just pour new concrete on top, making new problems. Besides the job being a mess they left my yard and my neighbors yard a mess, broke water covers, lights in my garage, and ruined belongs in my garage. We asked if they would be ok with this work at their home and they stated no, but they had no problem leaving our house with crappy work. It's going to cost me alot to fix my yard from the damage they did.

"We are so sorry that your experience with us was less than positive, and appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We understand that your review is an opinion based on your experience with us. We have reached out multiple times to remedy this with no luck. We apologize, again, for our equipment failure causing us to start a day later than scheduled. I would also like to address that we did not bill, or quote you $11,000 for this project. We started concrete removal on your driveway on Friday. All concrete was jack hammered and left in place, which is typically a 1 day project. This took longer because your driveway was 3x thicker than normal thickness, no one anticipated this; we explained this to your husband the day of. We typically don’t work weekends, but when your husband reached out on Saturday about wanting this expedited, we had crews out there on a Sunday jack hammering and hauling off. We poured concrete the following day - Monday. On Tuesday our superintendent showed up to collect at which your husband closes the door on him. We had the owner, and superintendent there within hours to discuss your project. You proceeded by insulting and speaking in extremely vulgar language to the owner and employees. We addressed your concerns and checked all elevations with you and your husband. All the concrete was installed correctly with slopes and edges. We went ahead and demoed and replaced all of the concrete that you were concerned with. After replacing the concrete, the owner went over the project with you using levels, string lines, lasers to show you that the concrete is up to par. Your husband mentioned that you had a light in your garage that had been damaged, mind you we did not work inside your garage and we went ahead and re-repaired for you to your husband’s satisfaction. Once again, we apologize that after all our work, and your approval, your experience was still a negative one. Please reach out to our office, as we have tried to contact you multiple times, so that we can come to a solution. Thank you!"

The crew did a good job getting the forms in with several curves in the design. It came out well and the sidewalk is going to help us get around our property much easier.

Double J. Paving did a great Job taking out the old asphalt, putting in re-bar, pouring concrete. Came back to take forms off and cleaned up all the area where they worked. Their crew were nice and hard workers. Worth the money I paid ! ??

At first the job went well. They were prompt in getting me a quote and then at scheduling the work. I needed our driveway approach redone because the current one had worn spots with the rebar showing. The driveway needed to be a composite of concrete and texas gravel. They installed it but when power washing the concrete to expose the gravel the took off too much in some places. Now it is easy to kick off the gravel in certain area so I’m expecting to have to do this again in a year or so. Furthermore, they broke one of my sprinkler lines that runs next to the approach. When I called to complain I got one returned phone call asking for pictures. After I sent the pictures they stopped returning my calls. This is no way to treat customers. Especially when the cost is over $3,000. I guess I shouldn’t have given them that last payment without fully reviewing the work.

Joseph was fantastic. He was punctual for our initial meeting on the property to give me an estimate. He started the work exactly when he said he would and finished up in a timely manner Everything he said he would do was done.
