Double Tree provided great customer service. When Eddy came over to <br /> give me a quote he was honest and respectful. When it came to the job <br />  Double Tree Service went above and beyond my expectations! Knowledgable, inexpensive and VERY helpful! <br /> So... to sum it up, <br /> Eddy was the most knowledgable person we have spoken to about trees. <br /> The quote for trimming the remaining trees in the yard was extremely <br /> cheap.  He was so helpful not only on the <br /> trees we called about, but on recommendations for the future as well! <br /> Now here's the down and dirty... <br /> A certified Aroborist came out for a free estimate to check out our yard. <br />  He was on time and very nice.  We called to have him look at our <br /> redwoods which haven't been looking so great recently, but he started in <br /> the front yard and gave us some free advice on our trees out there as <br /> well as the backyard. <br /> When we went to the backyardto look at our <br /> redwoods, he said they look healthy and are starting to come back to <br /> life... basically, we don't need his services!!  (Another guy who was <br /> not certified said he would trim it for $600!!!).  Eddy from Double Tree <br /> service (not the other guy) said to leave the remaining 6 trees <br /> alone this season and call him in 6-10 months to come back for a <br /> trimming. <br /> He was SO knowledgable.  Immediately he asked when <br /> we had the patio slate put in, and attributed that to the health of our <br /> trees (apparently the roots had been dug out and the dirt in the back <br /> suffocated the roots on the far side?!  Who knew?).  But he recommended <br /> that we wait to see how the tree responds before trimming it. <br /> The rough estimated quote for trimming all the trees and possibly removing <br /> one (that would eventually damage the slate and brick wall) was <br /> EXTREMELY reasonable. <br /> Bottom line... THEY ARE THE BEST!!!  Definitely hire these guys above anyone else... your wallet and yard will thank you for it. <br />

This crew is amazing!  My uncle needed to have a tree removed from our <br /> backyard... I'm talking HUGE with many of the biggest limbs leaning over <br /> our neighbors house.  He came over right away and gave a reasonably <br /> priced quote.  I discussed it with my uncle and decided to go ahead and <br /> use his services.  He removed this tree in two days, even with it being <br /> some of the hottest days its been in a while!  His whole crew was <br /> extremely kind and they made sure to clean up very carefully after they <br /> were done. They even took a look at my broken car when they <br /> noticed me filling my radiator with water!  We were thrilled with the <br /> services this crew gave us and would recommend them to anyone. <br />

Double Tree did a great job at a fair price. They took a tree down in my neighbors <br /> yard and that is how I met Tonny and then hired him to trim branches away <br /> from my roof with his bucket truck. The house looks much better now and <br /> he trimmed just the right amount of branches to uncover the roof but <br /> help maintian privacy between our house and our neighbors. They did a <br /> good job cleaning up after the job. I would highly recommend them to <br /> anyone looking for tree removal and maintenance. <br />

Eddy and his team trimmed seven pine trees for us, and the result was <br /> outstanding. Excellent service! They were prompt, friendly, and very professional. <br /> Very fair price, great work, cleaned up everything <br /> (couldn't tell they had even been here, except for the outcome). Double Tree is Awesome. Eddy  is amazing in the <br /> tree. He took down a very large pine tree that was breaking my driveway <br /> and ground the stump. His crew cleaned my entire front yard of sticks, <br /> leaves and pine needles. They even cleaned the driveway, walkway and <br /> front porch. My yard looks beautiful now. They are friendly, knowledgable, professional <br />  and caring as if the trees were their own.I recommend them to everyone, <br /> my family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Very professional. We had a messy curly willow <br /> that was too close to the house for me to cut. Eddy were quick to <br /> come out and give us a quote I could not refuse. They said they would <br /> try to get us in before the weekend (4 days away) and they were at the <br /> house a day later. They were safe, quick and cleaned up very well. Even <br /> after they got into their truck to leave - the truck stopped, one of the <br /> guys hopped out and ran out into the lawn to pick up a few missed <br /> chips. I was pleased with the work.I initial meeting with Tonny was great, he informed <br /> us on our male mulberry tree, and shared <br /> tips on how to take better care him. Eve called and confirmed a date of <br /> service, shortly after we received and confirmed on the contract. On <br /> the day of pruning, Tonny and his team showed up on time and did an <br /> amazing job on our tree! Our neighbor came over and was so impressed <br /> that he too said he would call and use Double Tree for his tree! Eddy,their estimator, was extremely flexible in regards to scheduling. We <br /> set up an appoint for after 6, he showed up on time, and we walked <br /> through the yard to get an estimate for work. Estimate was in line with <br /> other companies I had contacted and I felt comfortable moving forward <br /> with Double Tree. After a few weeks of rainy days,Tonny and his team called in <br /> the morning and were there when they said they would be. The team moved <br /> quickly and completed the job in about 3hr and left the yard as <br /> they had found it. I almost forgot I had trees there in the first place. <br /> Highly recommended them.

Alex exceeded expectations: Left a VM during this busy time and got a call within 24 <br /> hours. Truck showed up the following day and did the work. I contacted <br /> Double Tree last thinking that it would be the most costly....Turned out <br /> they were the lowest price and the only company willing to show up <br /> quickly.

We arranged a day to have the work done.  Due to a rain storm, the <br /> original day for the work to be done had to be moved on short notice.  <br /> The communication about moving the day was via a phone call, text <br /> message and email - which I thought was excellent.  <br /> When the new appointment day came, the crew arrived 10 minutes early.  <br /> Everyone introduced themselves, josh reviewed the work to be done with <br /> me, and then with the crew.  After that the crew positioned the truck, <br /> got out their gear and got right to work.  The trees are too big for <br /> them to use a truck or ladders, so they used ropes to climb up into the <br /> tree canopy (no spikes used) and started pruning and removing dead <br /> branches.  They worked for 4 hours with no breaks, stopped for about an <br /> hour at lunch time, then did another 2 hours.  After the trimming work, <br /> there was a bunch of branches on the ground, which they put through <br /> their chipper/shredder, raked up the area, and used a blower to finish.  <br /> If you didn't know what had happened, you'd never have been able to <br /> tell anything was previously on the lawn. <br /> All in all - it was a quality experience.  Work was done right by a <br /> professional crew.  Communication was excellent.  Price was fair and <br /> reasonable.  I'd definitely be willing to hire them again.

Excellent, on time. Quick AND careful. Price was as quoted. No attempt to change price. <br /> The very skilled workers even avoided hitting a wash line that should <br /> have been in the way when lowering down the large dead limbs. Very <br /> polite and respectful, yet also showed a little humor as well - <br /> excellent combination. They even used the roof top and fire escape to <br /> trim and tastefully sculpt some distant limb tips with an extended hand <br /> saw. <br /> I will use them again.

It went great!   Double Tree answered my initial call and made arrangements for <br />  Josh to meet me at my home during my lunch break.  <br /> He arrived on time and had already assessed the work to be done. <br /> He provided the lowest quote for the take down, removal of all wood, and <br /> grinding the stump.  I had six different companies quote prices. <br /> I was nervous about the entire process since the tree was smack dab in <br /> the middle of my house.   I emailed several questions and they  was <br /> always prompt with responses.   I asked for their insurance certificate <br /> and I called the insurance company directly to ensure that the policy <br /> was still in effect.   Everything checked out, so we set a date. <br /> The crew arrived on time and got to work.  They cleaned up every stray <br /> branch and piece of dust from the property.  At my request and without <br /> additional charge, DOUBLE TREE team  cut a branch off a maple tree that was damaged <br /> in the last late snow storm. <br /> I will definitely call them again for general pruning work.

My neighbor needed a tree person so I searched Angie's list and found Double tree. Here is what he reported. They did a great job. Although the trees were right against electrical wires and near my house they completed the job safely and nothing was broken. Very informative about other projects I was working on. They saved some of the tree logs for me. I will use them myself if I have a tree problem.

John came within few days and provided an estimate. He explained to me <br /> that I would only see bare branches for year or so when I cut to half <br /> size. I appreciated the warning. The work was done the following week <br /> shortly after I confirmed I wanted to hire them.John came to give <br /> directions to the 3 workers before they started. I stayed in yard during <br /> most of the work so I could change my mind about extent of downsizing <br /> trees during the progression.   <br /> The men clearly were used to trimming hollys which was a relief since I <br /> have not been able to find any tree companies in the past 15 years who <br /> even wanted to do it. One man climbed into the holly while another <br /> worked from the ground with the long clippers.  Everything went smoothly <br /> and all degree was removed. <br />

Matt came out and analyzed the work to be done and provided written <br /> estimate that day.  He seemed very knowledgeable and gave a thorough <br /> description of the work.  Work was scheduled to start 3 weeks from <br /> signing contract.  I wasn't home to observe the whole time, but was told <br /> their crew starts up at top of tree and prune dead branches from top <br /> unlike some companies that cut just from the bottom and not do the tough <br /> work higher up.  Clean up was fine but not perfect, there were still <br /> some leaves and twigs on the lawn.  Final price was ok with Angie's List <br /> deal. Would use them again.

Overall it went very well - the company representative was very punctual and performed the work as advertised.
