Drain Doctors moved quickly to provide same-day service before the Holidays. Four months later, they demonstrated that same level and quality of support on a different drain. They have become our "go-to" provider. We would not hesitate to call them again.

I saved their number from using them a couple years ago as they respond quickly and do not do a lot of crazy upselling like a completetor I used a few years prior to them. They seem honest and responsive.

Great. Service man showed up about 30 minutes after I called. Was in and out in 25 minutes. Cleaned out drain and ran hot water thru for several minutes to flush line and ensure the buildup was cleared. Cost was only $85. I had a quote from Mr. Rooter for $359 for the job, sent that guy packing before calling Drain Doctor.

On 4/21/15 I spoke with Sarah in the office about scheduling a rush sewer scope for the next day. She was very accommodating and told me the inspector would call me back to see if he could fit me in. She quoted me $150.00 and since I was out of town, told me they could mail me a DVD with the scope and provide a written summary. The inspector Riley called me back pretty quickly and we agreed he would go to the house in the morning on 4/22/15. I learned later that day that they changed the time due to the sellers having a conflict. So far so good. <br /> Sarah returned my call on 4/23/15 (after several messages) saying the sewer was PVC all the way to the street sewer and all looked good. I confirmed that she will mail me the DVD and email me the report. I gave her my e-mail and credit card number for the $ 150.00. That's when it all fell apart. On 4/28/15 my credit card was charged for $ 165.00 and I had no DVD or written report. <br /> I called their office numerous times, but the phone was always picked up by the answering machine. (It is probably noteworthy at this point to mention that no one ever picked up the phone when I called. It always went to voice mail, but initially Sarah called me back within minutes. In retrospect, I have to ask myself if she was screening calls?) I left messages over several weeks, but never got a call back. On May -- I considered it fraud and contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. The biggest fear I had, of course, was not the $ 165.00, but rather whether the scope was done at all, and if I bought a house with potential issues. <br /> On May 18th, 2015 I received a DVD with the scope, which was postmarked 5/15/15. There was a note in the envelope from Pam McBee, Office Manager: "... Given the number of inspections we complete, we are not able to keep all inspections DVDs in our system. However, this inspection was completed just before I went on vacation and had not been deleted." Basically, she was telling me I should count my blessings that I received the DVD at all, almost a month after the scope was done and 3 weeks after I closed on the house, although they agreed that they would provide the DVD right away. I never asked them to store it!! <br /> Fortunately, the DVD shows the outside of the house as the inspector inserted the scope, so I am pretty sure that it was my house, and at least I can sleep easy knowing the sewer is in good condition. But I never received any report and I did not get answers to questions that the scope generated, such as such as why is it 52 feet to the city sewer, which side of the street is the connection to the city sewer, what are all those bends and level changes, etc. Finally, I ended up paying $ 165.00 for the service, since I told the credit card company that I finally received the DVD and I had nothing in writing to document that the <br /> charge should have been only $ 150.00. Lesson learned. <br /> <br /> <br />

"It is disheartening to receive such a review, when it is our goal to provide quality services to all customers beginning with the initial contact. Our records shows we were contacted on 4/21/15 for a "rush" sewer line camera, service was completed 4/22/15. It is our practice to quote a range for all services; rate quoted was $155-175. Following the completion of this service, we verbally shared the results, confirmed customer’s email and obtained payment. When processing payment we always confirm all credit card information and charge to the customer. The cost for this service was $165. When the customer stated information had not received (by mail or email); a second mailing with USPS tracking was completed. We regret the customer felt “she should count my blessings”, as this was not at all intended. Initially we were not asked for a DVD, however we were happy we could provide it. Generally, copies are not kept on file except for lines requiring attention. To date payment has not been received for services requested and provided, release of funds are pending. We review all feedback, learn from them and will continue to strive in providing quality services to all our customers."

They had some difficulties since they had to go down the stack and past two 90 degree turns, but, as usual, they got it done. The plumbing in this house is an absolute nightmare, but Joel and co. have always managed to keep things draining. <br /> <br />

I have used Drain Doctor's many times on different houses. <br /> Most of the jobs have been removing sewer clogs, but they have installed a clean out for me. <br /> They have always done a great job. <br />

It was fine. They came out and did the job and did it right the first time. The guy seemed to know what he was doing, and I liked that it wasn't a chain but independently owned. His price was exactly the same as everybody else. He seemed to be pretty fast and it took he a couple of hours to figure out the problem. He was the most personable fellow and was professional.

We have to have this done frequently. Every couple of years or so. It usually takes hours, in some cases days. This gentleman had our drains running in less than 15 minutes. Most affordable in the area, and I called many. <br />

We first noticed the problem the night before. Since there was little threat of damage to the house we scheduled the work for 8:30am. <br /> Drain Doctors did not show up at 8:30. I called at 9:00am and was told that they would be there when they finished with their current jobs. I was disappointed that I was not notified that the appointment was not going to be kept. Drain Doctors finally arrived at around 10:30 to start work. The tech was not very communicative, and was difficult to get information out of. When they determined that the problem was the line break caused by the city, they called the city, gave us a summary of their findings, and packed up with no cleanup. <br /> The city engineer arrived with his team, and agreed that the street work during the summer was the cause of the break, and started the process to get it fixed. By evening, no-parking signs were up, and utilities were located. The City will pay the Drain Doctors bill and will clean up the area around the clean out access, which is probably why Drain Doctors didn't bother to clean it up. <br /> The City is pretty easy to work with. Drain Doctors will have to find other customers, as I will not use them again due to their poor punctuality and communications. <br />
