Excellent! He examined the work, he's professional, on time, he was late by traffic but he called me and let me know, he's friendly, he gave me an estimate and try to figure out how he could save me money. He went out of his way because he don't normally do my area, he mostly do business. He cleaned up after himself. He tested his work after completing it by running the hot and cold water over and over to make sure that his work was complete.

Eddie, the plumber from Drain & Heating Solutions is not able to complete this particular service due to some reasons. He instead ended up doing a work on my toilet which apparently caused more damage. He promised instead to send me a check for the refund of my deal. I sent an e-mail last week, 08/22/2018, not gotten any response, and called today. Still no follow up and no correspondence.

"Hello [Member Name Removed], If you check the 2 internal drain promotional information on Angie's List, when you purchased it, you would have seen that the promotion calls for 1 or 2 drains on the SAME visit. The initial visit for the tub drain when you made the purchase on Angie's. Then several months had passed when you called us directly, was my reason for charging you. If you recall I took $25.00 off the regular price. I am not surprised at your perseverance to put our company down, because I would not cooperate in your attempt to deceive another business, by placing the blame on them for the back up on your kitchen sink without proof. As for my change of mind in your refund request, as I explained to you in the personal email, at the time I was talking to you, I was on a job and trying to talk to you and could not remember that you had not paid us directly for the promotional purchase. Now, I ask you, how can you expect a refund from someone when you never paid them anything- your payment was made to Angie's List, not to Drain & Heating Solutions. Thank you, God bless you."

Drain and heating solutions did extensive damage to my floors and ceilings, I was hoping that Angie's list would make him pay for repair work needed to fix the multiple problems that he caused .

"thank you for your feed back, however I was very surprised to see how you rated our service, first, I was not late, second it was not only a toilet replacement, your flange was rotted away as well, and I re worked the flange without the need for a complete replacement, which it would have cost more. If the toilet did not sit flush to the floor , do you remember that I pointed out the loose raised floor? I conducted myself professionally, never was I disrespectful to you, if my service was so bad as you claim, based by this review, then why after checking the finish work did you sign off the satisfactory line, without hesitation? thank you"

Eddie was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I bought a coupon and he quickly responded and set a time to come. I had called other places that never called back. It went ok, but the plumber seemed surprised and a little annoyed that one of the drains was really hard to clean (I'm not sure why he thought we needed him!).

Bath tub drain was cleared and demonstrated by flushing water to view where drain was cleared. Shower drain was not cleared by Eddie since he demonstrated that this was the way it drains. He pointed out that the drain screen was not screwed in but grouted on and does not want to remove and break the integrity of the structure.

Eddie did a fantastic job. He was able to come earlier, which helped me out. He explained what he was doing and got to work. One drain was a particularly hard job, but he kept at it until it worked perfectly. There were no hidden charges or attempts to jack up the cost. When he finished, he cleaned up completely. I would definitely recommend him and use him again if we need to.

He came promptly to clear the kitchen drain. He hesitated at first when he saw how old the drain was and its condition. He feared the snake would crack it wide open. But we came to an agreement that he would do his best to clear the drain with no guarantees on his part. He was able to unclog it in short order. He then explained how he would replace it with new plumbing. We will probably ask him back when we are ready to do the work.
