Jimmy was quick to return my call for a quote. He visited my property within a week and completed the job within a couple of days after that. The cost of the job was less than anticipated and he explained the hows and whys very thoroughly. We were not onsite at time the work was done, but he texted photos before, during and after. Highly recommend.

We gave Jimmy an excellent rating even though he ran into some challenges with municipal permitting, city inspectors, and a work crew that left some things undone which needed to be corrected. To Jimmy's credit, he was always reachable by phone, responsive to our inquiries, and "Johnny-On -The-Spot" for getting things corrected that needed to be corrected. His crew foreman JJ was excellent in answering our questions and making certain that the installation was everything we expected. Not every job goes smoothly, but Jimmy made sure that we ultimately got the service and product we paid for. We would hire him again and recommend him to others.

Below are the details of our experience with Drain Xperts. Overall, I would highly recommend this company for drainage work. We recently moved into a home that had some backyard flooding issues. The front yard is heavily sloped to the street but the backyard is slightly lower which caused pooling even on a light rain. A friend of mine had recently received quotes from a few companies that specialize in drainage systems and chose Drain Xperts. I was able to see the project in various stages and was impressed with the quality of work for the price. My friend's neighbor also chose Drain Xperts after and the job was done well. I did not give a rating for the price because I did not seek out other bids after my friend's research in a similar job. Drain Xperts was by far the best price. Jimmy came to give a quote on a day that there was standing water in the yard so he was able to see the location of the problem areas. Jimmy was obviously very experienced in this work and we talked about some other projects his company had worked on. He proposed a system that eventually included about 175 feet of 4inch PVC starting on one point of the backyard, wrapped around the deck to the back of the yard, then to the other side of the yard and then went straight down to the street along a brand new plumbing drain pipe that was installed weeks before. Along the path of the pipe included drain boxes throughout to collect the water. They also installed three drain pipe stems next to the house so that future gutters would be able to flow directly into the new drain system. The crew used extra dirt from digging to grade areas of the yard so that water would flow away from the house and toward the drain boxes. Jimmy's crew worked fast and did a great job. The work was permitted through the City of Houston. Jimmy and his crew were professional and responsive during the entire process and gave no hassle when we asked for minor modifications to the project. We have already seen positive results from the system and don't cringe at the thought of rain coming. Once we add the gutters and do additional grading in certain parts of the yard, the system will be even better. As I mentioned at the beginning, I would highly recommend Jimmy and Drain Xperts for your drainage project.

They were very responsive and did great work. Price was comparable to other drainage companies. Left the lawn looking very good and put grass back over where they had to dig. I would definitely hire them again for any needs with drainage.

Drain Xperts exceeded my expectations. My house did not have any drainage lines and the backyard would pool and not drain properly and most of the front yard downspouts released the water onto sidewalks or in the landscaping. Drain Xperts was able to install a brand new 4" drain line all the way from the backyard, along the side of the house and down to the street while also connecting in 4 downspouts in the front yard. They are very reasonably priced, with a quote price almost 50% less than one or two competitors, and the quality of work was exceptional. They were able to dig, install piping, connect everything together, refurbish the yard and test the system with no issues and it does not even look like the yard had been worked on. Great quality and Jimmy and his crew were very responsive and easy to work with. Overall I was very pleased with all phases of working with Jimmy and Drain Xperts and would definitely recommend them to others.

We had about 150 ft of pipe put in with 4 drain basins. James' crew was exceptional. I didn't realize how fast they can dig a trench with just a shovel!! They cleaned up well and did a great job. Now the real test and the reason for my review. Hurricane Harvey hit. Never in my life have I seen so much rain! Every couple hours we had to go out and clean debris off the top of the grates, but I am in awe of how well these drains have worked. James, you deliver a great product and I cant imagine where we'd be right now without your drains!!

Jimmy is a straight shooter and takes pride in his work. He is very honest and takes the time to do the job right. I was impressed with his crew as well. My back yard was a head scratcher of a problem to deal with. There was limited ways to get storm water drained out. Jimmy came up with a system that had 2 ways to get water out. One via gravity, and the other via a powered sump pump system. In addition my entire backyard has hand laid pavers so the crew had to remove and re-set all the pavers properly. All in all I am very happy and will be recommending Jimmy to my friends and family.

They installed 6 nine inch drains and connected three gutters that ran to the street with a pop-up at the curb. The contract was for five drains but the owner felt that we needed six so he added the sixth gutter at no charge. They were supposed to start the job on Thursday but ran over on another job. They showed up probably Friday morning around 8:30 and worked to 5 o'clock. They don't work weekends and it took two days to finish the job but were here Monday morning promptly at 8:30 and worked to completion at 6 o'clock. They checked my sprinklers to make sure everything was in working order. There were some showers both those days and it probably took a little longer to completedue to weather conditions. Included are pictures of a few of the drains and connections to the gutters. There is also a photograph of a heavy down pour and you can see how the system is working at the pop-up gutter. To this date I'm very happy with the work that was completed.

Great job! Fixed the French drain & kept the neighbors happy by keeping their prized patio undisturbed!

We had major standing water issues in the backyard until Drain Xperts helped us out. Mr. Hill came out and gave us a thorough assessment of our issues, talked us through all our questions, and explained his plan to fix it. On the day of service, he and his crew were very punctual and were able to install our system in under a day, and left it looking like they were never there! Would definitely hire them again.
