DR COMFORT A/C AND HEAT

Great service, on time, respectful of both my property and me. Completed the job in a timely manner, on budget/quoted price. Also cleaned up all work related debris both inside and outside. Called them back today to service ac at at rental unit I was so pleased with the service. Another great experience. It is rare to find someone who is knowledgable, within budget, and very customer focused. I highly recommend this company. <br />

They were extremely professional and personable. And even though they ran about an hour late for the appointment, they called to let me know they were running behind and gave me an approximate time of arrival. I was their last appointment so found that completely understandable. Excellent service and a job well done! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone! <br />

They came out with a listed service charge of $59. Later called with a bill of $139. Suggested I call the Lennox dealer to check for freon leaks. Dealer service came out, said the system was not cooling properly, and charged for cleaning the coils, which they said were completely clogged. I called Gary Spann, the service manager at Dr. Comfort and asked why they did not complete the job. He said they did get the system cooling better and it was late. I rate the experience fair because the charges were more than twice what was expected without prior notification and the job was not completed. Since I used Angie's list to find this provider, I believe I need to share this information with its other members.

On the coldest day of the season so far, our heater went out. While my wife and I could tough it out for a day or 2, our infant son needed it fixed now. It was around 7 am when we called (which is when they open) and got the voicemail, so my wife left a message briefly explaining that we needed someone that day. We got a call back just a couple of minutes laterfrom Mr. Gary Spann, with an apology for not catching us when we called initially. He was genuinely concerned for the baby, and although his day was starting to fill up, he told us that he could be here in 20 minutes and slip us in before he went to his first call. Twenty minutes later he and and his partner Matt were here. Ten minutes after that he had identified the problem and explained it to me in layman's terms. Ten minutes after that, our heater was fixed and we were shaking hands in my driveway. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need, and was nice enough to explain as he went. I came away with tthe overall feeling that he was putting my needs ahead of any other concerns. I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW GREAT THESE GUYS WERE. They were very freindly, professional, honest, and had the kind of practical expertise that only comes with experience. Gary and Matt displayed genuine concern for the wellbeing of my family and treated us more like neighbors than clients. If you want honest, fair treatment from the kind of people you will be glad to give your business to, call them.

I found the serviceman to be very professional and friendly. He seemed to be genuinely concerned about our situation. I will definitely call them again when I need further heater or A/C service!

I was impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism. The work was done in a timely manner and they worked around my schedule. A second visit was needed to address the coolant leak again, but this was done at no charge and everything has been working well for about 3 weeks now. I would definitely use Dr. Comfort again. What I liked best was that they took great care to do the job the right way and explained everything that they did. I have used other Heating and AC service companies before and have never had service as good. Can't recommend highly enough.

Jeremy was terrific. I've dealt with a lot of A/C contractors, and only a few have been so honest, dependable, and diligent in their work. The estimate was a lot less than the others (a total of under $6K for 3 units - a 6.5 ton and two 3-ton systems). Everything was done professionally, with attention to detail. Even the work area outside was swept clean after the job was done.

It went really well. I called them about some units at my beach house and they came out the same day (about four hours after I called them). They performed a tune-up on all my air conditioning units. They found nothing wrong, but I noticed that the units seem to run better and blow colder now.

This was not the first time I got my system tuned up and I was surprised when the guy finished and told me everything was O.K. with my system. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need like has been done to me before. The guy even wore little covers over his shoes so he did not track anything on my floor. If they still have this tune up special next year I will be all over it.
