Steve had excellent communication and got the entire job done in just over a week from initial estimate to completion. His craftsmanship was excellent, his demeanor was very kind and helpful and his sense of expediency was unmatched by anyone else in the area.

The remodel went great. The cabinets look wonderful. DreamMakers were excellent and very professional. Would hire them again and am recommending them to all of our friends and family.

We loved working with DreamMaker. We had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted our kitchen and dining area to look like, but were unsure if it was going to be possible and what materials should be used. Mr. Everett listened closely to what we wanted and delivered in every aspect. He was able to rearrange our kitchen so that the flow is much better and provide us with custom built-in shelves and bench. He not only pointed us in the right direction for the big things like counter-tops, but also for the backsplash, drawer pulls, and lighting fixtures. All our work was done efficiently and Mr. Everett's team went above and beyond whenever an unexpected problem occurred. I am confident that all the work was done thoroughly and that I will not have any problems in the foreseeable future. The same team arrived promptly at my house every day and worked diligently so that the job was done in the time frame originally quoted to us, despite some additional plumbing work that was necessary. Because the same workers were in my house everyday, I felt comfortable coming and going and knew that my house was in good hands. If I ever had a question or concern about anything, I would text Mr. Everett and he would always get back to me very quickly, even on the weekends or at night. He was also very quick to come to the house if anything was ever needed. I have not experienced such great customer service with any other company. The materials used for our new kitchen are beautiful, and I feel that we had everything done for a very fair price. I would highly recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen because of their ethics in every regard. Their goal is to make your remodeling job as easy for you as possible while providing you with a quality product that you will love.

Steve and his crew -- Shawn and Bruce -- did an exceptional job remodeling my kitchen. I had my original 1994 oak cabinets and builder-grade floor/countertops/sink replaced with quartz counters and porcelain tile floor and the cabinets were refaced with new color and doors. I am very happy with the quality of the work and how the remodel changed the entire look of my kitchen. The crew was very professional and meticulous in finishing all work.

Love it! There was no question that we wanted Steve Everett of Dream Maker Bath and Kitchen to remodel our bathroom, as he had remodeled our kitchen 2 years ago and we were very familiar with his integrity, professionalism, skill and dedication. It took about 5 weeks to complete the job, and that is about what we expected. Steve hires only top notch professionals to work with him, so they were all very skilled, hard working, prompt, pleasant and made every effort to coordinate their schedule and to minimize disruption to our household. They removed part of a wall, which enlarged our bath to accommodate an extra set of storage cabinets, and made a porcelain tiled shelf on the window box behind the free standing tub. We joked that it would be a great place to set a wine glass! Our old shower was enlarged and replaced with a glass enclosed, tiled shower. The dual sinks were replaced along with the cabinets and counter top. Flooring was replaced with porcelain tile. We love our "new" master bath and kitchen! Every day feels like we are on vacation and staying in a luxury condo! If you have an idea for your kitchen and/or bath, Steve Everett can make it come to life! We highly recommend him!

The owner, Steve Everett, was very professional from beginning to end. He helped us figure out the best design for our needs and kept us informed every step of the way as to what would be completed next and when. He listened to our requests and made sure we were happy with everything. The quality of work was excellent. Our kitchen turned out even better than we imagined!

The overall project took just over a month. It was a mess and somewhat awkward to get through, but the end result was WELL worth the dust and mess. The crew was professional, kind, gentle, and understanding. The work was meticulously and carefully done. Their recommendations and suggestions were accurate and reliable. The business side of the project was detailed, clear, qualified, efficient, and comfortable. The carpenters even let me watch and ask questions about their work probably more than I should have been but they were always gracious and patient. Bruce was top-notch as the lead carpenter. Jeff offered excellent assistance. Steve, in his quiet and deferential way, was the perfect owner, project manager, salesman, and organizer. This was an interesting, fun, and ultimately rewarding experience for me. I love the work they did in my kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend!

Contractor was excellent! He was always on time; communicated well; craftsmanship was outstanding; and the results were just what we hoped. The contractor worked hard to ensure he understood what we wanted and did a great job finalizing the scope with my wife. I wish we had hired him for a previous project. Steve and his crew did an excellent job. As with any major renovation, there were a few unexpected issues. In each case, he talked through the options and his work-arounds were spot-on. Communication was outstanding. I always knew what was planned for each day and what to expect in terms of timeframes. They cleaned up before leaving each day to minimize the disruption. Steve was always readily available to answer any questions. As a result, I have a beautiful kitchen. I couldn't be more pleased.

Steve Everett is the most pleasant, honest and hardworking contractor I have ever worked with. We had unexpected hurdles which is typical for any big renovation job,... things beyond his control and mine. He kept his sense of humor and professionalism up until the very end. We hired Steve Everett of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen for two remodeling projects in 2012 and another in 2016. We happily award them an A rating. The first time we hired Steve Everett we asked him to remodel our master bathroom, a remnant of the late 1970s. Steve worked with us every step of the way. After carefully measuring the space available, he offered a number of options for how our bathroom might be renovated. Once we decided on the bathroom’s new configuration, styles and colors, Steve and his competent crew went to work. They immediately impressed us by employing large screens and tarps to protect our adjoining rooms and furniture. They took great care to keep dust and disruption to a minimum. Then, after painstaking preparation, they installed a beautiful tile shower and floor and a new cabinet and sink. The quality of their workmanship quickly became apparent as they worked toward project completion. Once complete, we were amazed at how different our upgraded bathroom looked and how DreamMaker made it so much more appealing. We also seemed to gain space, a direct result of Steve Everett’s more efficient design. We love our larger shower and feel much safer with the expanded floor space. After a wonderful first experience with DreamMaker, we again hired Steve Everett to remodel our second bathroom. This time we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. Then, in 2016, we hired DreamMaker for a third project. We were confident DreamMaker could deliver and that is just what they did. Steve Everett and his DreamMaker crew successfully updated our 1970s era bathrooms bringing them into the 21st century. Not only do we now have renovated bathrooms to enjoy, but should we decide to sell our house one day, we will likely gain additional profit from our investments through DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. In sum, Steve Everett of DreamMaker epitomizes the consummate professional contractor. Aside from being a skilled craftsman, he is an honest and fair businessman. He employs competent and talented workers and his prices are very reasonable. In short, we highly recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen.

We could not be happier with our new kitchen! We started working with Steve Everett in late March to begin planning our kitchen renovation. At our request, Steve and his small crew started work the first week of June. It took about 4 weeks to complete the project, and that is exactly what Steve had projected. We found it extremely helpful that we were presented with a folder at our first meeting with Steve that spelled out exactly what to expect not only for our project, but his expectations as well as ethical guidelines and company values. After agreeing on the work to be done, we were also provided a payment schedule so we knew after what stage each payment was due. Steve is a carpenter, and did some of the work himself, but he had Mike (I think he is also a carpenter, but appeared to be able to do absolutely everything....especially laying subway tile, perfectly!), and Ron, the best electrician ever, work closely with him. All 3 were precise, expert, timely and pleasant to work with. Dream Maker Kitchen and Bath is a top notch business! We will absolutely hire them again. We highly recommend them for quality materials and work at a competitive price!

I was happy with the quality of the work but not happy with how long it took- over a month from demo to completion.

Outstanding workmanship ,prompt professional service and a level of work that can only be described as true craftsmanship. Competitively priced and an absolute pleasure doing business with. <p><br />DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen?<strong> </strong>of Greater Fredericksburg provided excellent service and support throughout the entire remodeling process.  Steve Everett, the General Manager, planned and negotiated all aspects of the project from start to finish.  We were new to the process, so Steve explained all options and the implications of the various choices.  He made recommendations based upon the quality and durability of the options.  He regularly visited the work site to ensure excellent service.  At the final stages of the project Steve personally performed detail work, to address and resolve our concerns. </p> <p>All of his subcontractors were excellent.  They arrived on time, protected the interior of my home from any and all debris throughout the process, and were courteous and professional.  Initially the subcontractors laid down a plastic cover for dust protection.  They put floor runners in place between the work area and exit door.  These stayed in place throughout the project.  The subcontractors cleaned up and removed all debris.</p> <p> The contractor who handled installation of the shower valve, shower outlet, and handle bars checked with me regularly to ensure proper placement  of these items,  The tile people went a step above the contract requirements and put a corner seat in the shower for me!  The glass contractors explained out to properly care for the shower enclosure.</p> <p>My husband and I very pleased with the work and service provided by DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen?<strong> </strong>of Greater Fredericksburg DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen?<strong> </strong>of Greater Fredericksburg.  We will happily recommend them.</p> <br />

In a nutshell, we hired DreamMaker because of Steve Everett, and that turned out to be an excellent decision for us.  The heart of the matter is this:  Steve, as it turns out, is the honest man we expected, and he does his business diligently, knowledgeably,  and efficiently.   All that translates into an end result we were thrilled with and no aggravation or nasty surprises for us along the way. <br /> The first thing we noticed is how patiently Steve worked with us to specify our needs in detail - and our need for detail was greater than either his or his competitors.  This is one area where we prefer the DreamMaker approach to contracting:  For very little money up front, we got to see the contract reworked and fleshed out in detail until the project was specified in a way that we were very comfortable with.  At the other end of the spectrum, some contractors handed us a 1 or 2 page contract and said they couldn't tell us more until we signed a $25 or $30K contract - not even draw a picture.  We prefer the DreamMaker way.    <br /> During the project, we knew which days to expect the various subcontractors and inspectors.  All the subs were competent and professional, and they were well-supervised.  We never had to deal with the subs directly , although we could always ask them about something.  But the important thing to us is that we understood what they were doing and why, and we felt comfortable with them in our house.   <br /> We changed our mind about some things about half way through the contract and decided to ask for additional work.  We thought the contract mod process was very fair and reasonable.  We did NOT feel "held up".  <br /> And at the end of the day, we were thrilled with the results.  Everything works right; things look even better than we imagined; we like having been consulted when there was a gray area or a matter of taste involved; and we like that things were completed in a time frame we agreed to.  We had heard so many horror stories about home contracting, but working with DreamMaker and Steve Everett has got to be "as good as it gets!".  We would hire them again in a heartbeat. <br />
