Driggs Plumbing and Heating

Seth Driggs came with his young son as his helper. Delightful to see the father-son relationship and the courtesy and capability of both! Seth came in his well-equipped van and had the specific plumbing parts needed for the repair. He protected my carpet by slipping protective boots over his shoes. Went under the house to do the work and reported some pooled water under the house due to the leak. He advised about that. It was all finished in an hour.

Called one Angie’s List vendor who did not return my call. Called Seth Driggs who was working on a job, but said he’d see me in an hour or so. He showed up on time, and gave me estimates of what the low or high should be to get our drain working again. The drain proved to be uncooperative, he ran his snake out 75 feet, reinstalled the toilet and it still wasn’t working properly. He ran back to the shop to get a cutting end for the snake, removed the toilet, and ran the snake out 75 feet again. We suspected that a grandchild had put something in the drain, but nothing ever tangled in the snake’s end. At any rate, Seth was determined to get it working, an charged me what he’d quoted if he only had pulled the toilet once, although he had to pull it twice and reseal it twice. I highly recommend Seth Driggs for your plumbing needs based on our experience!

Great! He responded quickly, arrived within 30min after calling, got the problem diagnosed within minutes, arrived back at my house within 40minutes after diagnosing with the part and had it fixed quick! Super kind and quick!

It went so much better than expected. Over the phone, other plumbing companies quoted us $1,000 - $1,500 to do the work and replace the valve. When I talked with Seth, on the phone, he offered to come over within a couple of hours, ON A SUNDAY!, and take a look at the problem. Upon arrival he assessed the situation and determined only the center piece of the valve needed to be replaced. There would be no reason to replace the entire valve, tear up the wall/tiles to do the work. He had to access the crawl space (the entire length of the house!) to get to the water shut off valve...and did this 3 times in freezing weather! He was in and out of our house, with the valve fixed and fixture replaced within 1 hour! And he didn't charge us an additional fee for coming out on a Sunday! Seth was very professional, but a down to earth guy. I would recommend him and Driggs Plumbing, in a heartbeat!!
