I received a couple of recommendations for Dr. Patch, but you never know until some one comes and does the work. I had high expectations and these guys exceeded them! Not only did the work look great, but their costs were very fair, they left everything clean and orderly and the were flexible in dealing with unforeseen issues. On one repair we found water damage underneath the stucco and they did a great job pulling out all the bad wood and rebuilding everything ... really went above and beyond. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Patch to anyone looking for fare priced, quality stucco repair!

Micheal was professional and did a great job. We had a slight delay with the soffit and Michael was both accommodating and professional. The work they performed looks great and was done as they said it would be.

I originally called them because I could see the stucco was peeling off one side of my chimney. Mike and Stan came out immediately but they couldn't get on the roof because of lightening, wind and rain. So they came out the next day when they could get on the roof to do a thorough inspection. They gave me an initial bid of $1,450. They arrived promptly as scheduled to set up scaffolding and get to work. As they got into the job, we found the water damage was more significant than expected and the wood on the entire west side of the chimney would have to be replaced. This wasn't something you could see from the initial inspection because this area had been repaired before by a different contractor. During the entire process, they kept in good communication with me, they reviewed the changes and costs before doing any work to make sure I could see what was happening and feel comfortable with the scope of work. Also, we talked about how the snow naturally piles up against this part of the chimney in the winter and ways we could minimize this type of damage in the future. Overall, they were punctual, did everything they said they were going to do, communicated well, cared about providing a quality service, and I felt that their pricing was fair.....and they are good guys! I would hire them again, and would recommend them to anyone needing stucco repair.

They worked really diligently to complete the project in the stated time frame and did so pretty well. They acknowledged having perhaps a few too many jobs at one time (probably everyone needed projects finished before the weather turned as we did!) to complete the job when expected which didn't pose any problems for us. They were courteous and friendly and did a great job. They made a concerted effort to protect newly planted flowers and bushes which they did fairly well. Only a couple mishaps. They cleaned up very well (stucco work can be messy). Mike, Dr. Patch, is quiet and reserved and and Stan, Mr. Stucco Master, is talkative and gregarious. Without reservation we'd re-hire them again and recommend them to friends.

After a short delay in receiving the bid, Mike and another fellow showed up, we talked about the work to be done and what would be the best way to proceed. There concern was to do the best job for the right cost. After they explained the hows and ways, I felt I would get a quality repair for the cost. When the repair was finished I was pleased with there work. I would highly recommend
Doctor Patch .

They. Are. The. Best!!! THE best!!!! Mike and Stan are absolute gentlemen and we trust them to go in and out of our home even if we aren't here. Their pricing is always fair, they clean up after themselves and they are grateful for any little thing you do, like sodas or treats. If every home issue I have could be done as well as Dr. Patch does it, I'd never worry about anything!!! If you don't already know it, stucco is really tricky---anybody can do it, but only a few people can do it well! Don't get another bid, don't get a second opinion---GET DR. STUCCO!
On a personal note: we are in the midst of organizing a yard sale as a fund raiser for our special-needs granddaughter, Emma. As Mike and Stan were leaving today, they told me they knocked off $100 from the bill so it can be donated to Emma's fund. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried! (And I'm not a cryer!)

I got a same day return call on my inquiry and Mike and Stan came out the next day to provide an estimate. They were very thorough in checking out all of the areas we were aware of that needed repairs and spotted a couple that we hadn't yet noticed.

Mike was very helpful in explaining the different types of repairs that could be made so we could decide. We went with patching in most areas with a repainting of one quadrant where someone had made previous repairs that hadn't turned out very well. He worked up the estimate within an hour of leaving and called with the cost which we found to be reasonable and fair. When we signed the contract they took samples of the peeling stucco as well as a tub of the original stucco left from 15 years ago.

I was very apprehensive about a good color match and was very happy with the final product. Honestly after the stucco had completely dried I can't even tell where the patches were made. Craftsmanship on restoring corners that had completely crumbled was also impressive. And while Mike told me that matching the stone grout in jobs like this was very difficult I was very pleased with the outcome of that too. The colors are just slightly different and should blend in a short time.

The guys were neat, quiet and hard working and the result is very impressive. These guys are professionals who know what they're doing and it shows. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

This is the third time I've used Dr. Patch and once again they have exceeded my expectations! Mike did the estimate and made an extra trip to make sure they had a good color match (it was perfect!) and he and Stan did the two-day project. Between them, they probably have 45 years of experience in this industry and it shows in the work they do. It is such a comfort to know I have someone who can do a great job on the problems that come up with stucco and I would never, EVER use anybody else!! I recommend them without reservation!
He was fantastic, friendly and prompt. He gave me a very reasonable price and accomplished exactly what I wanted. He was very willing to work with me on that, which I really appreciated. I had accepted his bid, but we had not scheduled a time. He called me one night and said he had the next day open and could do the work but I said I could not pay him the full amount if he wanted to do it the next day. He was willing to take half of the price when he completed the work and then take the other half about a week later. It must have been worth it to him to not miss a day's work. That worked out well for both of us and he was very accommodating. The work was great and it looks nice. It was a very nice job. His price was kind of a middle-range bid out of three prices I got. The price was reasonable.

Said one thing did another. I gave them a down payment or I would have cancelled the job all together. Color match not good. Owner dishonest, problems getting what was committed. I was threatened by owner. Workers are mostly illegals which means the owner is paying them practically nothing. Say they guarantee work but good luck getting them back to fix what they should have done right in the first place. Finally gave up after many unanswered calls couldn't deal with the dishonesty and poor treatment after payment.
Response from Dr Patch Stucco LLC
"This review has several inaccuracies and misunderstandings. Our company policy requires an agreement for work to be completed and half down to cover materials and expenses while the job is in progress. The member did not research as to if our employee is legal or not. Roberto has been legal in the United States to work since 1999, as he gets paid just like any other US citizen. As an Angie's list member slandering a company is also very unethical and should not be rewarded to post a review of this type. The member signed a legal binding contract and her job was completed as projected. I also spoke with the member after the completion of the work via the phone; she wanted to know who she should give the check to. This member had no complaints for an entire year until this review and did agree with our polices per the estimate/agreement, and it is unfortunate that this review was left in this manner. Please reference our other reviews for the quality of our work and professionalism. Thank you. Sincerely, Kerri"
