I contacted this contractor based on the recommendation of another contractor. When I called he sent a member of his drywall crew out to look over the job so they could build an estimate. A couple days later I heard back from the owner of the company (who I spoke to before) and he gave me an estimate but I felt like he did not understood the work I wanted done. After multiple text messages I informed the owner that I would not commit to anything until the owner came out and saw the job in person. The owner came and I showed him everything I wanted done. The owner gave me a price which I thought was a little high but I agreed to because it included another bid for additional work and I felt like paying more would give me great service. To summarize the rest of the experience, which was spread out over many days, the workers never showed up once on time. Punctuality is very important. The crew which came out to do the job was not the same crew that came out to bid the job. There was constant miscommunication between myself and the owner in the workers. The job got done and the workers were nice enough but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I thought but I was paying for good service and professional work but I ended up feeling like I over paid for work that was not started on any day when I was told they were going to start. I could've handled the workers showing up tardy but having to explain the job to the work crew who had to go back and verify it with the owner because the owner not sufficiently explain the job to the crew was beyond frustrating. I felt like the owner caused most of the delays because she did not send a crew that knew what they were being paid to do. That's not a reflection on the crew, the owner didn't do his job. The crew was fine but I would not recommend this contractor to anyone else. <br />

I went very well , but it took two days and they are hard to get a hold of for communications to schedule/follow-up <br /> They sanded and restained perfectly. <br /> They resealed with minwax gloss <br />   <br /> The door wouldn't close right. I asked them and they looked at the hinges. I told the worker Ismahel and he would let the owner Danny know. Danny never contacted me back. The door latch hardware was installed upside down and backwards. I ended up having to take the hardware off and reinstall myself. The slanted part of the latch was facing away from the door jam. <br /> Summary: <br /> (1) They are somewhat difficult to contact to schedule work. <br /> (2) The price is a little high. <br /> (3) The work quality is very good. <br /> <br /> <br />

<p>Work performed according to schedule;</p> <p>Owner (Danny) showed up every day to check on progress and did much of work himself to meet promised schedule.</p> <p>Excellent housekeeping throughout job.</p> <p>Went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>So pleased with his work that we subsequently hired him for another, smaller project which he executed flawlessly.  Will be calling on him again for additional remodeling work.</p> <br />

It took them four months. It was wonderful. It was what could be expected during a remodel.

Very professional.  Returned call, setup up schedule, was punctual and on time.  <br /> Kept area clean and removed all materials. Did an excellent job of matching baseboard and paint. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. <br />

We could not have been happier with our experience for both jobs performed by D.R. Renovations.  The owner of the company came by on both visits and unlike many companies today he took his appointment time very seriously.  On the first visit he was running approximately 5 minutes behind schedule and yet he called to let us know he was on his way. Not only was he on-time for the estimate, he showed up exactly when he said he would for both jobs and after doing outstanding work he cleaned the area thoroughly before leaving.  He and his workers were very professional and friendly throughout the job and the results were of high quality. <br /> After seeing the way D.R. Renovations worked on the first job of replacing the damaged sheet rock, there was no doubt that we wanted them to also install the new hardwood flooring.  We were very pleased to learn that they also did flooring work and as was the case with the first repair, they showed up within 1 minute of the appointment time and finished the job within one day.  For anyone that needs general Handyman work done or a renovation of a kitchen or bathroom in N. Harris County or Montgomery County, this is the company I would recommend.  We plan to do more renovation in the near future and D.R. Renovations will be the provider we call.  They were fantastic!! <br />

Excellent job, very knowledgeable.  It took a bit longer that we planned but they were out working every day. <br />

Danny and his team of professionals were punctual,efficient and courteous. The quality of their work was outstanding! The workmanship and attentiveness to detail was exceptional-Tony and Philiberto are masters of their trade. When something came up (you never know what can come up when taking down walls) it was handled quickly and reasonably without it being more than a minor hiccup to the project. Everyone involved in the project were great from the carpenter,plumber,and tile to the painters and trim workers.  All of the workers cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis and the project was completed in a timely manner. <br /> I would most definitely use Danny's services again and would recommend them without hesitation. <br />

Overall, it went okay.  They were a few glitches.  Screws run through the outside wall of our house from the shower insert, water pipe broken in the kitchen, cabinets had to be painted and repainted because of orange peel.  Granite installed incorrectly had to be redone.  Everything that went wrong at the time was fixed at no extra cost to us.  The workers were very pleasant, cleaned up after themselves, were very considerate of our needs.  I got a little put out over the cabinets needing to be redone (they looked really bad the first time).  There have been some things since the work has been completed that I have noticed.  We had to have a repairman come out and reinstall the exhaust because it wasn't done correctly. and the paint on the cabinet doors is not holding up.  We will probably have to have them painted again alot sooner than I would like. <br /> I said above that I would not use DR Renovations again, I would probably rather move than go through another renovation.  They probably are as good as most.  I just don't want to go through it again. <br />
