They were very polite and performed the cleaning as best as it could be done from the hearth itself. They did not take precautions to keep soot from going everywhere. The inspection was nominal at best. They never went up in the attic or the roof. They did free up the flume which apparently had rusted. They did offer additional service of cleaning the dryer vent at a discount.

The technician was very nice, hard working and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and then did it quickly and thoroughly. He cleaned up the area around my fireplace completely and everything was done in less than 45 minutes.
