This review appears to be related to a road incident involving a company vehicle and not any service provided by Dry Tech Waterproofing Solutions. Following that incident, multiple one-star reviews were posted within a short period of time by individuals who have never been customers of our company. Angi's review polices prohibit reviews that are unrelated to a genuine customer experience with a business. Because this review does not reflect an actual business transaction, estimate, or service experience, we have requested that Angi's investigate and remove it. "(Consumer name removed ), We?re sorry to hear that you?re unhappy with the situation. However, we would like to clearly address the concerns you raised, as we made every reasonable effort to resolve them within the scope of our agreement. As outlined in our contract, we do not perform any electrical work. If electrical issues arise, including breakers or power supply problems, those are the homeowner?s responsibility. Regarding the breakers tripping, you stated that you do not live at the property and were unsure how long the power was out. Our sump pumps do not operate without power, and the battery backup system is designed to provide approximately 12 hours of operation. Based on the conditions observed, the power appears to have been out for longer than that duration. Extended power outages are outside of our control and responsibility. Concerning the warranty, we do provide a lifetime warranty on the installed waterproofing system. However, this warranty does not cover the battery backup battery. Batteries are consumable components and, as standard across the industry, are not warrantied due to their limited lifespan?even when unused. Once power was restored, the primary pumps immediately activated and successfully removed all water from the system. At this time, the system is functioning properly and as designed. The only issue identified was a failed battery and bbu components, which was damaged due to prolonged water exposure after the battery backup runtime was exceeded. We provided the components for the bbu system for free and installed them at no cost. The only charge was for the battery itself. While we regret that you are dissatisfied, we also do not appreciate being threatened with claims of slander in an attempt to obtain a free battery replacement. We have acted in good faith and in accordance with our contract and warranty terms."
