Tom replied to our inquiry promptly and then scheduled our work in short order. His quote was reasonable and he performed the work as quoted. We had several good-sized holes and some staining in our popcorn ceiling in our kitchen where we had removed a fluorescent light fixture and then had an electrical box installed. Our hope was that the holes could be repaired, the stain removed (and sealed) and the popcorn texture restored and blended in with the rest of the ceiling so that we could install a pendant light where the fluorescent light had previously been (rather than having to cover up the defects with a similarly-sized light). Tom competed the work in a couple of hours. The result was flawless. The repaired area looked new and blended perfectly with the rest of the ceiling. We can now install a new kitchen light of our choice! Great job, Tom! Thank you!

Thomas came out the same day (to my Mother-in-law's house) and gave her a quote. She accepted his bid and he was back the next day to do the work. On the standard 10 scale, she told me that Thomas is a 10+ (ten plus) in courtesy, professionalism, friendliness, and respect toward seniors.

Excellent work at a a fair price!

A clogged AC condenser drain in the attic caused the drip pan to overflow and soak the ceiling drywall in an upstairs bedroom. A large section of the ceiling fell along with some insulation. We requested an estimate for replacing the drywall ceiling from Tom Smith at Drywall Maintenance Co. Tom came right away to look at the job and gave us a very reasonable estimate for making the repair. We accepted Tom’s proposal, and he quickly started on the job. Completing the repair required Tom to make 3 trips to our house. He was punctual on the days he came, put down plastic to protect our furniture and hardwood floors, and did a great repair job.

Basically perfectly, except for an unexpected yet humorous event between the replacement drywall and the bathroom light fixture. Everything came out perfectly fine. We enjoyed Tom and the quality of his service, and would gladly hire him again.

He was so dependable and the best drywall guy in the area! it looks amazing, back to normal or even better. I waited on other companies for months and me gave me the estimate the next day, a way better estimate, and came to do the job as soon as I needed. he was in and out in a matter of hours and was quiet and cleaned up after himself. Tom did an excellent job repairing some holes the plumber left behind after they installed an outside water faucet. He took his time and did a great job, leaving me to do the painting a few days later. It only took one coat and the wall looks good as new. I'm very pleased and would definitely call on him again for any future repairs needed. It's sometimes hard to get someone to come out for such a small job, so I really appreciate that he was willing!

Fantastic!!! Tom was courteous, professional and on time. He was very cautious / respectful in the work areas, ensuring that counters, floors, etc. were covered. He also cleaned up everything at the end of each work day. This was one of the best contractor experiences I have every had.

Arrived promptly, everything seemed to go well.

Thomas opened up the foyer walls, found and fixed the bowing wall issue which turned out to be caused by an improperly installed and warped 2x6 header board. No more, "oh my, that looks bad!" when company comes in the front door! He re-taped and corrected all the various cracks, nail pops, and holes. The walls now look amazing throughout the house. Highly recommended!

I contacted Tom Smith via the "Conversation with Provider" in My Messages on my Angie's List account on 02/02/2016. I included two photos (close-up and long shot) of the area that needed repair and asked for a estimated cost of repair. Tom responded later that same day with his estimate. On 02/11/2016, Tom arrived 10 minutes early for our morning appointment. He inspected the area that needed repair and told me how he would solve the problem. He added that he only does the drywall repair NOT the painting. Actually, I preferred to do the painting myself, so I agreed. He had all of the tools and materials he needed with him (even the fan used to speed drying of material), so he proceeded to construct the wooden foundation for the drywall repair. The whole job seemed to take about 3 hrs. He worked quickly. We talked occasionally, but most of the time seemed to be with constructing the wooden foundation and the drying time for the material. When he was finished, the surface was smooth, attractive, and blended well with the surrounding structure. The finish reminded me of the "smooth" coat that was applied over the "rough" of plaster-lath wall construction. He cleaned up the work area and the area on my driveway where he parked and did some cutting, etc. from his vehicle. When I painted the repaired area, the paint went on smoothly and I did not have to use primer. It blended beautifully with the surrounding structure. It looks great.

Amazingly talented -- you'll never even know he made the drywall repair. He is also a really nice person.

It was good. He did all the work himself. I had him give me an estimate for another job that was a bit larger and he suggested I find a 2 person crew since he works alone.
