We had our refrigerator stop working under warranty and needed it return to the store and a new one delivered. We hired D’s because he had good reviews, claim to be fully insured and was available to help us. We have been without a refrigerator for almost 3 weeks. When they arrived it was two young kids in a beat up Ford Ranger with an exhaust leak and no signage on the truck. They first asked if they could drive across my lawn, I said it had been raining and I didn’t didn’t want ruts on my lawn or for it to get torn up. They then brought in appliance dolly and attempt to move it through the doorway without it being strapped to the dolly. They end up laying the fridge down on his front & dragging it across my concrete step, standing it upside down and bringing it to the truck on the dolly, dropping shelves as they went. When they returned with in the new refrigerator it was laid down in the back of the truck on its back. Refrigerators need to be transported standing up to prevent damage to the compressor mounts. They then unwrap the new fridge and wheeled it to the door on the dolly not strapped down and attempt to lift the fridge over the threshold it fell approximately 10” inches back on the concrete step damaging the back of the fridge, then they lifted the fridge into the house. I instructed them I would move it from the living room to the kitchen, but they insisted and I could hear it scratching my hardwood floor as he rotated it. I paid them and they left. I noticed my storm door would not close because the bottom piston bracket have been bent. My wife contacted Will Oldershaw as soon as they left to let him know about the issues and for him to email us a receipt as promised. He claimed I said there was no damage and everything went smooth and damage the floor was impossible because they “used a dolly” & then called and when I started to explain what happened he called me a liar, scammer & said I did the damage myself. He then refused to provide a receipt and made several threats. The fridge is loud and vibrates from being dropped. We filed a claim with insurance and they claim he doesn’t have coverage for these types of things. My homeowners insurance told me he had his policy written in such a way that it basically covers nothing. I will be filing a small claims court if this isn’t resolved. Beware, he is not fully insured and has a high deductible. His liability insurance does not cover any property being moved under his “care, custody or control”.

At first the job looked great, but it started peeling up immediately. To his credit, Will came back immediately to redo it, which I really appreciated. At his suggestion we stayed off the deck entirely for a full month to let it set after staining. This time we added felt covers to the bottoms of all our deck furniture. However, the deck immediately started chipping and peeling again. Even walking on it causes chips. There was also an entire post left un-stained, which looks awful. After spending an enormous amount of money our deck looks like it already needs to be refreshed. I reached out to D's home and move twice and never heard back.

They did an amazing job. They came ready to work and moved all my things without an issue especially being on the 4th floor. They took care of my belongings as they were their on while moving them. Did not have any issues I am very satisfied with the work they did! I recommend them to everyone I know.!

We had a great experience!! Personable and professional crew. They were on time and for a fair price exceeded our expectations. I didn't know where to start with getting rid of all the junk I had accumulated, I was stressed, they handled it for me with ease. I was impressed and would recommend D's to anyone looking for quality work.

Will and Nick were great. They communicated with me prior to the job, showed up on time and did quick and efficient work. Labor of this nature isn't extremely difficult but I did want to point out that Nick and Will were very careful, they were pleasant and they went out of there way to make my life easier (cleaning up after themselves taking recyclables that weren't even in the contract for free etc.) I would recommend D's Home and Move to anyone in need of this type of work!
Will Oldershaw and his crew arrived early with all the necessary packing supplies, equipment, trailer and truck.
The family had done some preparatory packing but we were somewhat inexperienced and a little disorganized. Will and crew got us organized and made the move go smoothly. D's Home and Moving also took care of properly disposing the large amount of throw-away stuff that my father-in-law had accumulated over the years.
The price was very good, and so was the friendliness and professionalism of Will and his crew.
Without reservation, I can give D's Home and Moving my highest recommendation.
Pat Wadsworth
They were wonderful right from the initial contact. Anna gave me an estimate on price and time based on a phone conversation and that was precisely how much I paid. On the move date, Nick came with his twin to pack the truck. We have moved many times over the many years, and Nick and his twin are hands down the best set of movers we have had. I think their secret is that because they are twins, they know exactly how to coordinate. Not only were they incredibly efficient, they are also very nice. Whilst driving to Maryand, I was slower than them, and I asked them to slow down so that we could arrive around the same time, and they accommodated me. The move in was just as rapid and efficient. The furniture was assembled perfectly, and boxes kept in each room as I requested.
In summary, they are wonderful - and I am glad we used them.
