D&S Masonry was established in 2004. Sean has been in this line of work for over 30 years. He prides himself on his excellent craftsmanship and Outstanding customer service. Masonry, brick, concrete, chimney repair, chimney sweep & inspections, dryer vents, fireplaces, stone and outdoor living. We are a distributor for Realstone Sytems and Enviro products. The work was done professionally & timely. They had to work around the landscaping and didn't damage anything. The foreman, Greg, kept us well informed on what to expect with each phase. The crew was friendly and did a great job of cleaning up each day. The final result exceeded our expectations. We look forward to working with them again!

We don’t recommend D&S Masonry for driveway work. They took a month to complete our average sized driveway replacement. It was a dirty or muddy mess for over 4 week and we had to walk across our yard to get into the house. The results are not good. The bottom 20 feet of the driveway is dark gray while the rest is the normal white color. There is a jagged boundary between the sections. Many neighbors and visitors have commented on this. The company’s response was that it needs to dry and will end up uniform. It’s been over 6 months and the dark gray portion looks the same. Also, we have long cracks going through 2 sections of the concrete – probably 20 feet or more. We have called about these concerns and have left messages, but no one calls back. We do not recommend this company for driveway projects.

Existing brick porch was breaking apart at mortar joints and brick was breaking and falling away along entire perimeter. I contacted 4 contractors - only 2 replied. D & S came out the same day and provided a quote on the spot. Their price was lower and I had a better feeling about them then the other contractor. They started the job 2 days later and did a tremendous job! We could not be happier. The general foreman Greg was exceptional and really cared about doing an A1 job. I was worried that my bushes would have to be cut back as they encroached around the porch - Greg and his guys worked with me to get them tied back - no trimming was required! I HIGHLY recommend these guys!!!

If you want your porch to spall after a year of its being installed, then D&S Masonry is your company. The new porch, walkway and stairs were installed August 2016. After the first winter, porch still looked good. After this past winter 2017, the porch top is severely spalling. Shawn Harrington, the owner of the company, came out to look at the spalling, accused us of using salt on the porch and wanted to charge another $750.00 to pour 2” of concrete on top to cover the spalling. We didn’t use any salt on the porch for winter 2016 or winter 2017. Shawn could not provide an explanation as to why the stairs and walkway did not spall as well. After all, in his opinion, if we did use salt, the stairs and walkway would be spalling as well. I had another concrete company evaluate the spalling and was told the spalling was not caused by salt, but by too much water in the mix. If you want your newly poured porch to look like **** after one year, Shawn and D&S Masonry is your company. If you want a professional job that will last, hire someone else. D&S Masonry does not back their work and I would not waste the money on that company.

We had an old fireplace which we wanted to give a new contemporary look to. We knew exactly what we wanted but wanted to do it under the budget. After speaking to 3 different companies, we went ahead with D& S masonary...Sean was the reason we chose this place. Not only is he personable, but also very professional . He tried his best to keep our budget on track and delivered a great service. His team was also very courteous and professional. I have to mention Greg who completed the odd ends exactly per our liking. Also, since this project was done in the middle of winter, there were days which were completely snowed in but these guys made sure they came to finish their work. A wonderful team and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Sean, Jennifer and Greg to anyone looking for Masonary work.

Terribly. I was home at the scheduled time of service but did not hear them at the door for some reason. They did not call on the phone but just left. When I called back to reschedule they said they would get back to me but never did. So I prepaid for no service

Excellent job! Greg was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. We had very unusual bricks that had to be specially made for this job. They went out of their way to find the only place in the state that had the material and could make them. They ended up being a perfect match. Even the grout matched perfectly. Everything was completely cleaned up at the end of the job. Everyone was very professional. Would highly recommend D&S to anyone.

Exactly as expected. They measured flow through the vent before they started and again after they were finished. There was a substantial improvement in airflow when they were done. 79.00

The technicians told us we needed to replace our entire fireplace due to a crack in the liner and tried to sell us a new one because they were opening a new store. We were told we would receive a write up with photos of our inspection. We never received the inspection report. They used a drop cloth that was covered in soot so our furniture and carpet had to be professionally cleaned after the visit.
