Made quick work of a tough hall way and Kitchen painting job. Clean. Pros. Fast, did what they said and were on time.  <br /> Great to work with. <br />

Let me first say that John was by far the lowest bid and it included paint.  Our home is in a downtown historical district.  It is a 3 story all wood home that includes 4 condo units each over 2000 square feet.  So this is a very big home. The 2nd and 3rd story are cedar shakes so that is very tedious painting to get around each one.  Our home is 4 colors.  John and his 2 helpers first scraped the entire wood surfaces and then power washed the entire house.  Then he primed the ENTIRE home.  (The other painters said they would prime "where needed".)  He also caulked a lot.  He gave the house 2 coats and even 3 in some places.  They used brushes and rollers only so they could work the paint into the wood.  I did not want a company that sprays. <br /> John was wonderful.  He was very responsive and constantly checked with me to make sure I was satisfied.  The job took a bit over 4 weeks.  His 2 helpers were also very nice and very polite.  None of them smoked which I also liked.  <br /> I am more than satisfied.  My neighbor was so impressed that she is going to have them paint her house in 3 months as that is when John could work her in.  <br /> You will not regret hiring Duck Brothers to paint your home.  There is not a single thing I would change - a perfect job. <br />

John Schmitz and his workmen did a great job. They were efficient, the paint job looks great - a month out from when it was performed and our house was a very dark color which we had repainted a very light color. The value for the money is very good. <br />

John & his crew did a very good job painting my old house & garage. They were prompt,courteous & the cost was reasonable.Sergio repaired the back door sill & 5 pillars on the front porch beautifully. John took care of a couple other issues that were more than he signed on for. Very pleased with the choice I made. <br />

He painted our 1/2 double.  He arrived on time and completed the work as promised for the price of the deal.  He did a clean and efficient job.  We plan to hire him again as the need arises. <br />

John was helpful in telling me the best kind of paint to buy. He came out to assess the job before scheduling. Did a great job on our old plaster walls and came back to put another coat of paint on some trim that didn't appear finished. Since we had not used the entire 8 hours of the deal, John did not charge us. <br />

Project went wonderfully and exceeded my expectations.  In the 8 hours the painter was at the house, he painted 3 bathrooms, put a second coat on the guest bedroom, and painted the kitchen and laundry closet.  He cleaned up well and did not leave a lot of work for me to do myself.  WELL WORTH THE MONEY SPENT!!! <br />

He patched drywall, and painted several areas - more than I expected - in one day.   He did a great job, especially painting the kitchen ceiling, which was challenging,  He cleaned up everything before leaving.

The work and performance was high quality.  Very good to work with, flexible on arrival time on one day to help me facilitate my schedule.  I have asked them to come out and paint the exterior of the house as soon as the weather allows it.

He applied one coat of primer on all the windows. Once the primer dried he caulked and sealed holes. He returned the next day to paint all the windows. I called John on a Wednesday and he came on Thursday to provide an estimate. He provided the estimate same day. John has painted for me in the past and his estimates are always reasonable and lower than his competitors. He came to do the work that same week on Saturday and Sunday. He's very professional and his work is very neat; he pays close attention to detail. I would recommend him and plan to have him do other painting projects.

It went very well. After the initial contact, my suggested dates for the work to be done were passing, so I needed to follow up to get the appointment made, but John, the owner, then responded immediately. (My suggested dates were relatively soon after I purchased the Deal, and during the holidays, so I know they were very busy.) Regarding the work itself, when I paint, I tend to put drop cloths down, to protect the carpet from the paint, tools, work boots, etc. I was surprised that they didn't automatically do that--but again, upon request, they immediately responded and accommodated my preferences. I found that to be the case throughout the day--if I asked for something in particular, they accommodated it. So, I do highly recommend this company, but advise clients to mention their preferences, if they have them. (Mine were in regard to patching minor cracks and nail holes, and painting vent covers.) I happen to work at home, so could make comments/requests, if necessary--but I don't feel like I needed to be there. In the future, I'd simply make requests beforehand. I've found that's a good idea anyway, as different companies work differently. José, the painter, accomplished a lot within the day, and I was very pleased. Both John and José were very pleasant to work with. I would happily use this company again. <br />

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. There were no extra charges. He did a good job, he was on time, and he was friendly.

They were very professional. They did a great job and were accommodating to fit me in on a Saturday.

Will rehire for several other jobs.

I was impressed by their follow-up on scheduling and reminders. They were punctual even in bad weather! And cheerful and considerate during the process, watching out for animals and responding to our questions with patience a positive attitude. We are definitely going to use them again!
