Excellent! Dunn Home Improvement remodeled my dated kitchen and removed a wall. It was a project with many changes due to delays and discontinued products I selected. They were very patient and responsive with me when I was reworking my over all design. Their workmanship is exceptional and they are great a keeping the job area clean. Plus, they are prompt and responsive! Experts in all things construction!

It was great! We have been doing a home remodel for the past 9 months and have worked with a few contractors on some projects. Dunn was amazing. They were prompt, very professional, and cleaned up daily. From the quote to the final product, we were completely happy. The tile work was done beautifully as well as the tub and shower surround. We have one more bathroom to remodel and they will be our first call. The pictures of the completed project (the shower picture was taken the day before they completed the project.)

They were a second contractor we got pricing from and they proposed doing the job in a way that greatly reduced cost. They were prompt, professional, and picked up our toilet and sink from Lowes. They kept things clean during the work and it looked good when they finished.

The entire experience with Josh Dunn and his team went extremely well. I had another contractor over to look at the space, and his estimate was 30k, he really had no good ideas for what to do with the originally awkward layout, and he advised that I should move my two kids (ages 1 and 4) out of the upstairs during the remodel. Josh walked in and immediately envisioned what to do with the space and came in with a lower estimate. He and Mike worked meticulously, controlled dust, and cleaned up every afternoon before they left. They did any and all sawing and tile-cutting outside. My baby took naps in the basement, but both my kids slept at night in their own beds in their rooms, and I never worried about dust. Josh and Mike are polite and professional, keep you informed of the process, and are also very good at what they do. No drywall seam is visible, no tile is crooked, and the paint job is extremely clean. Our remodel was extensive enough that we needed city (Richmond Heights) permits, and that required that separate electricians and plumbers do that work and that everything (electrical, plumbing, building) be inspected two times. All of that slowed things down, but Josh and Mike communicated so well and kept everything so neat that I had no complaints. They also subcontracted out to workers who were as nice and professional as they are. I will have Dunn Home Improvements do any home remodeling project, large or small, that arises in the future.

All good. Added window locks on upper floors (sash windows, young kids) and repaired/replaced some original locks in doors to make them work properly. <br /> We've used them for all kinds of things over the last 3 years - pretty much do whatever we've needed done. <br />

He put in a light ballast that no one else could do. He replaced trim as well. They did great work and they were pleasant to work with. They were there for about two hours and did awesome work. I would use them again. They had all the equipment needed with them.

Retaining wall looks fantastic. They did a good job with repairing the dry wall and installing the baseboards. The tiles for the basement floor are not flush and they had to come back a couple of times to jackhammer up the tiles to reinstall. The tiles are better, but most of them are still not flush with each other. Grout was splattered on the fireplace and never wiped down. The floor was not properly sealed and after the dog voided on the tiles which were immediately cleaned the grout became dark and mold is more growing on the grout. They cleaned their grout bucket on our front lawn and the grout hardened in the grass. They did stop cleaning their buckets after they were told about the grass. We had to buy more tiles after they were jackhammered up to be replaced. <br />

I've done the scheduling easily because they don't have anything on scheduled. I would recommend them. They were efficient. They kept their appointment and they were cost effective.

Josh and Mike moved and mounted our living room TV into the TV room. They ran all of the cords in the wall so it has a nice clean look. <br /> <br /> They mounted another TV in the livingroom again with no cords showing. <br /> <br /> Great job! <br /> <br /> They were on time, professionally dressed and didn't leave any kind of mess. My wife and I own a home that was built in 1898. When we were soliciting bids for a LONG OVERDUE bathroom remodel, I had cast a pretty wide net on Angie's List trying to find a contractor with experience working with old homes, and someone I felt that we could trust. I found that contractor with Dunn Home Improvements. <br /> Josh Dunn and his brother, Mike, began work on our bathroom renovation on a Monday morning. Upon entering the home, they laid down drop cloths and stair savers to keep from tracking in - and out - debris and general construction mess through the house. The demolition took a half day, and everything was carefully removed, and very meticulously cleaned. Color me impressed! <br /> The rest of the project flew by, with Josh and Mike framing in the bathroom, running electric, plumbing, et cetera. The first week ended with leveling compound on the floor, set to cure and level out what was quite possibly the most un-even floor in our old home -- mission accomplished! The second week buttoned up with a beautiful tile job, painting, and installation of cabinets. We finally had a bathroom that we could be proud of. The transformation was complete! <br /> I plan on keeping Josh and Mike on speed-dial for other projects for our home. Throughout the entire engagement, I felt not only informed, but empowered. The attention to detail is second-to-none, and I almost can't wait to start more renovation projects to work with Dunn Home Improvements again.

Josh Dunn responded to my initial call right away, came to our house to assess the situation, and discussed what he would do. He followed up with a written estimate within 48 hrs. He is personable, conscientious, a great communicator and - best of all - the bathroom looks like new now. We were extremely impressed wtih the quality of the work and the professionalism of both Josh Dunn and his coworker, Mike.

Excellent attitude and quality of service. I purchased this Big Deal to try out a home improvement company that I could use for larger jobs in the future. I was not disappointed. Josh and his associate were VERY professional and friendly even though my job consisted of a bunch of little pieces to be done. When they said no job was too small or too big, they really meant it. I liked them so much I've already hired them again to do handyman repairs throughout the home and I will keep them in mind for bigger home improvement projects in the future. For me, having pleasant, professional people help me keep my 85-year old Webster Groves home maintained is very important. I like to feel I have a team supporting me in my ongoing efforts to improve and maintain the appearance and workings of my house. I count Josh and his associates as members of my team now! <br />

Our tile shower had cracked and was leaking. This resulted in a stain in a downstairs ceiling. Josh answered my initial inquiry quickly and provided a reasonable estimate. They got us on the work schedule quickly. Josh and his partner showed up on time and had the work completed within a few hours.They had found some drywall damage and were able to patch this and install the tile and repaint the downstairs ceiling. They cleaned everything up and it all looks great. It looks a lot better than if I had attempted this myself. <br />

I had a hard time getting in touch in with him to get the work scheduled. He was prompt when he came to do the work. Some of grout was not quite even and I was not quite satisfied. He cleaned up well after himself and it took him only an hour and half to complete the work instead of the full 3 hours.
