Would never hire again. Richfield, MN Read this. Pat diagnosed and recommended parts, did not complete our clothes dryer repair, took payment and left. I called him to tell him it still wasn't fixed, maybe even worse often he worked on it, he agreed to come back and look at it again- then disappeared. Would not return my calls or text messages. Just gone. I should've seen the warning signs from the first phone call with him. I found him through Angies list, he said he didn't want to pay them (Angies List) the $28 fee and he would contact me separately, which he did. Right there I knew something was sketchy. He did not sound professional on the phone, he did not have "regular" appliance parts for home appliances on hand and had to order them in- very basic roller parts for an older gas dryer from what I was told. Every other company I called said it was a regular truck item for their service technicians, but not for Pat. But he was less expensive than others. My wife and 18 yo son were both home while he was performing the repair in the basement and both stated they could hear him swearing, (yes swearing, the F word repeatedly) loudly from the basement most of the time he was here. Very uncomfortable. He did eventually return my phone call three days later and then proceeded to argue with me. I’m not sure what’s wrong with this guy or if he was on something but I did not want to continue talking to him. He had a TV on really loud in the background, couldn’t remember who I was, and was all over the place while I was speaking with him. My wife and I do not feel OK with him back in our home now based on this interaction (or lack of) with him. I feel as if I just threw $178 away. I totally regret hiring him.

Pat was great!!! He repaired my radiator leak quickly and at a very reasonable cost! I look forward to hiring him again for other home repair and maintenance projects. Highly recommended!!!

Gas clothes dryer was not igniting

Pat was great - he charged a fair price and he did everything possible to diagnose the problem before coming. Fridge is working great and I am glad that I went with Pat for a repair instead of just replacing the unit. He'll have our business in the future for all appliance repair.

Excellent! Pat responded to my phone call in a timely manner. Was able to come and fix the problem within 24 hours (I was lucky). He is understandably busy. I had Home Service Plus through the Gas Company who said they could be out in 10 days to repair it. HSP has been cancelled.

Absolutely fabulous. He was at my place within 2 hours of sending the Request For Quote (after a phone call, of course). My microwave was on the fritz. he checked it out thoroughly and found the problem. He knew what he was doing. He needed to order a part, but got the microwave working. Very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

after an odd set of communications, we scheduled him. He came in after having a smoke break in our front yard. He was not helpful at all in the boiler cleaning (said the burners were fine and then talked about firing up the system and that is something we didn't need him to do). Then applied epoxy haphazardly on the radiator in question, not even applying it to all the rusty leaky looking areas. We were charged $60 for the house call then he added on $26 "because that's what Home Advisor charges me". I had no idea what this was since I didn't even get him through Home Advisor, but paid just to end things with him.

He got it done the next day and it was done quickly and at a good price. Ice maker is now working perfectly.

Called on a Thursday.. He diagnosed the likely causes and gave us an estimated range depending on which part needed replacing. He offered to come out that day or the next. He came the next day with the likely parts and replaced the ice maker. When I asked him to wear a mask in the house he did so. We would definitely hire him again.

It succeeded eventually, but the communication was horrible. Pat did not do follow up calls so I wasn't sure that he was going to do the project. He seemed angry when I asked him to test if everything was working. Each time he arrived, I had to request that he wear a mask. Once is fine, but the 2nd time he should have remembered and respected that I am high risk for Covid.

Pat was professional, timely, friendly, and gave us an extremely fair price estimate. Water heater went out Friday afternoon, we talked to Pat about the job Saturday, and he made our job a priority, completing it by early Sunday afternoon. Will be calling Pat in the future for a variety of jobs I’m sure.

It's disconcerting to notice water gushing from the underside of a washing machine. I contacted Pat on Friday afternoon and he was able to stop on Saturday morning. He quickly removed the top of the washer and immediately identified the problem - a hose had come loose from the detergent dispenser. He promptly installed a new clamp and was finished in 15 minutes. Nice work!

Arrived on time and repairs completed on unusual brand oven. Thoroughly tested to verify repair and followed up to make sure everything was working.

Pat does wonderful work, he is honest and very prompt. I will recommend Pat to all of my neighbors, no need to pay that huge upfront fee that the big boys charge.

Pat assessed the problem of no exhaust from clothes dryer due to clogging in newly installed permanent exhaust as per Minneapolis inspector request. Job was poorly done as system clogged within a few drying cycles. Pat replaced with a better design.

The lock lid on my washing machine broke. Pat was able to come the next day and have it fixed in less than 15 minutes. He was very friendly, responsive, would hire again.

Pat diagnosed the dryer's problem over the phone and was able to suggest a solution that worked right away! From this experience, I know he is very customer friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely hire him in the future for other needed repairs.
