Dust Mite Magic Duct Cleaning

They did good work and it was very positive.

As far as I know they did good.

They went above and beyond what was asked and were very straightforward about what was involved for the price charged. <br />

It went pretty well.  They were pretty informative.  They gave me the option to do additional work rather than just doing it & saying it.  They said that I didn't have such & such, and if I were interested in that rather than just doing it and then saying that they did that & it would be such & such charge.  They were very professional and courteous.  They wore booties before coming into the house.  They cleaned up when they were finished.  I couldn't have asked for anything better than that.

The were on time,polite, they cleaned up. After they left we noticed some smudges, and a little damage to celing around one of  the vents.

Everything was great.  The gentleman arrived on time, did the work as specified, and was very thorough.  He even showed me the amount of dust he had collected from the vents which I liked.

Did not see much difference after they finished.

Cleaned the ducts but said they would have to charge me again and come back and clean the ducts to my second system. I don't have a second system! But they insisted I did. So I feel they probably only cleaned half the ducts. I called the owner and he assured me he would figure it out and I never heard from him again

They came out four months after I purchased the "Big Deal" and the service was not that good. My heating ventilation company people advice me not to make use of that service. If it gets to the point where it needed duct cleaning like that they would inform me of it but they didn't recommend having someone basically cut hole on it.

Great guy; I really liked him ? but there was dust everywhere and event covers did not get all the way clean. Some paint came off around the vent covers <br />

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. They came out shortly after I purchased it. I had an extra furnace filter and they used that. They were good. I thought the price was fair for a lot of work done.

Let me say at the outset it was a satisfactory experience.  When I first called to make arrangements I was told that the price that was quoted, which seemed like a great deal was for only one air handling system.  We live in a 2400 sq. ft. home with two systems, up stairs and down. I can't remember what was quoted for the 2nd system. Seemed like a bit of a bait and switch Anyhow, we went ahead thinking that we would all breathe easier and there would be less dust since the ducts hadn't been cleaned since we moved in 20 years ago.. The guys showed up and went to work without much conversation.  I asked a few times how the vacuuming system worked etc. After they had been working for an hour or so I tried to befriend the two guys to get a little more information about the process and what we could expect when it was completed.  Finally we bridged the "lack of conversation" gap and we ended having a good conversation.  They were good guys and knowledgeable, but you wouldn't have known that at the start.  I don't have any way of knowing the ducts have been cleaned since we haven't noticed any changes.  I would say they were a good company and the guys were good guys and worked hard.  We just got off to a rough start. <br />

The service was performed professionally and well. We were very pleased with the job. <br />

We knew that we needed to have the ducts cleaned in our recently purchased home and read countless reviews before selecting Dust Mite Magic. We were extremely disappointed by all aspects of the service. The company's website touts state of the art technology which supposedly rids air ducts of germs and such. The two people who came to our house did not use this technology. They basically hooked up a large shop vac and blew dust and dirt into our front lawn approximately 6 feet from our open front door. They also blew dirt and dust onto our carpet and furniture throughout the house. The most awful thing that they did was the damage caused to our ceilings and dining room wall when one employee decided to rip down the vent covers. He pulled off some of the dry wall from the ceilings and covered the surrounding ceiling area with dark fingerprint streaks. This includes the laundry room ceiling which had been painted less than two weeks earlier. In our office, he dropped the vent and it hit the wall, leaving a 2-inch ding. Two vents had the adjustable arms broken off and the guy tried to hide them behind some curtains.  <br /> We told the "leader" of the crew that we were not satisfied and wanted our money back (we'd prepaid with an Angie's Big Deal coupon). He offered to clean our laundry vent for free. I told him that wasn't good enough and he said that he would do it himself and also get the owner of the company to give us a refund. Well, a month and several calls later we were told that we would be issued a refund by the company. It never came. When we called again we were told that the company was dealing with some cash flow issues and they would try to send us the money soon. It never came. <br /> We have decided to stop prepaying for Big Deal coupons because of this situation. I would have refused payment had I had the option. <br />

They were thorough but my wife was here during the service. They dragged out what had to have been dog hair from ten years ago.
