The porch was successfully completed within the time period minus the incredibly hot and rainey days. Dan and Steve had wonderful temperaments despite the heat they had to endure while working on the porch. They removed my old porch and replaced it with one that matches the personality of my home. I’ve gone out and sat on it several times and just love it! This porch is solid and has been carefully built. I’ve gotten many compliments on the style of my porch and have given their names out to several people. When I am financially able, I hope to replace my deck with a new one and will definitely use this company again. These men were extremely polite, knowledgeable and neat. I highly recommend them for any job that you may have.

Overall an excellent experience. I highly recommend Dutch Barn Dan. Everyone is helpful and a pleasure to work with, especially Dan, himself. It was nice being able to talk to the actual builder about design and structure options. After those choices were made and the contract was signed, Dan did everything he said he would and then some. He delivered the building sooner than promised and the quality of the craftsmanship and materials exceeded my expectations. I had looked at a few other company's buildings. Some were less expensive, but the cheaper price was also reflected in the way they were built. For example, my DBD building has Smartside siding with a 50 year manufacture's warranty. Inside, the OSB Gold, 3/4" flooring panels are waterproof. The roof sheathing is TechShield, which blocks radiant heat from the building interior. Trusses are placed at every rafter (some structures I looked at had none). Collar ties are also in place to allow the space for my custom loft. So, my 10'x12' building was built off-site and then delivered to my property where it was setup using concrete blocks. I also opted to have the building tied down with anchors. The only downside is that, because it had been raining a few days prior to delivery, some ruts were left in my backyard by the delivery vehicle. But, Dan came out the next day and filled in the ruts with topsoil, over which he spread grass seed and some straw. That kind of professionalism is just another reason that I highly recommend DBD. <br />

We had a good experience with this company.  They delivered and installed a ramp for our existing barn.  They also leveled our barn for us.  Service was fast and the guys were very professional and friendly.  Will keep them in mind for the future and recommend them to anyone.  Thanks for your wonderful service! <br />

That was fantastic. That has been delivered and we have been using it for a while now. It was a good deal. I went in. We talked to him. They gave us the options that they had and the best price for us. Within a couple of days, it was here. It took them less than week to get it here. We shut down the business we had done and we were moving everything home so I needed that to get out of the building that I was renting.   They made it really nice to get it out faster than I thought they would. They were better in price than everybody else we checked. I probably could have gotten a nicer shed for more money but again, at the time, it was what we needed. He was very professional but it wasn’t an enjoyable time sitting there paying for that three or four thousand dollars. He was very professional but he was not that friendly. It felt like you were talking to your next door neighbor when you bought it.

They installed a barn 3 years ago. They are fast. I had to call them back twice to fix gaps in the roofline.  They were going to roof over that, but I said no because water might come in over the cracks.  I asked them to take the roof down and take it home with them.  We finally got everything sorted and they sorted the roof out. It took a few threats in the beginning.  The quality of the stuff that they used was good. I would not use them again in the future.

Somebody messed up on the scheduling but the head guy straightened it all out. They got out here right when I wanted them. The guy solved it and I was very happy. I thought it was a good, fair price. We are very satisfied with the quality.

My husband and I  looked at Dutch Barns at their site and were given thorough information regarding all their products, including variations we could order and what each would cost. The sales representative was professional, not pushy, and very knowledgeable. We ordered a 10'x12" storage shed, to be placed at the end of our drive-way, which is sloped terrain. Something I hadn't counted on when I told them there was plenty of room for the structure was the fact that it would have to travel between a brick side porch and a large tree, and there was literally less than an inch clearance, total. Amazingly, the driver was able to maneuver between those obstacles without touching either. The barn was set up and leveled. Over the next several years, we had Dutch Barns come out to re-level the shed, which they did free of charge. We have been totally satisfied with both the service and the product from this company and would recommend them to others without hesitation.  <br />

They were very professional the whole time, from the estimate through completion of the job. Our job required getting approval from the city, because we live in a historic district. They were very supportive and prepared all of the materials for the application, and were present at the council meeting where the application was discussed to answer questions by the committee. Their estimates for both the time and cost for completion of the job were spot on, and we are very satisfied with the work.

When we visited the Dutch Barn sales site, we were allowed to walk through the display models without being followed by the sales person (which we like). The salesperson on site, Larry G., was very helpful and patient with us and actually directed us to a better value for our money as we found we could purchase a storage shed that was built for a golf tournament at a discount if we were willing to wait until after the tournament to receive it. <br /> We weren't going to be at the house when the shed was delievered as we were still going to be living in another state; we marked the area we wanted the shed with their flags and the shed was delivered and placed exactly where we wanted it to be. They leveled it and set up the ramp to the door. We are very pleased with their quality and service. We would go back to them for another shed if we find we need one and would recommend them to anyone. <br />

They constructed it on site and it was completed in two days. The sales staff was great and they were very precise about the design of the building and got what I wanted on it. The building looks fantastic. I am very pleased with their design choices. I thought after I shopped around that their price was very reasonable for what I got.

In 2009 I had them do an equipment shed. I was pleased with the quality of their work so I hired them again in 2011 to build a storage building.  

Overall, they were fine. I did have an issue, but they came out and took care of it. I would use them again in the future if need be.

They were very professional and easy to get along with. They matched the color of the house perfectly. They delivered the materials exactly where it was supposed to be. They customize things the way you want them.

It started when a representative of Dutch Barns came to the house to discuss the project and what options we wanted installed on the garage. We were given a basic estimate that broke down the costs of the basic structure, plus the additional expenses of the extended driveway, septic tank relocation, 12?x12? roof, brick veneer and foundation, thicker block, hurricane straps, electrical (including a 220V outlet), interior and exterior lighting, attic with access, phone line, cable, insulated door, side door, insulation, and drywall. From the outset we were given the option of selecting any sub-contractor we wanted, but aside from the electrical work, we let Dutch Barns select and manage them. Construction began with relocation of the septic tank, then the footings were poured and the foundation was built. We specified 8? block around the foundation even though code only required 4?. The block was set, but they used 4? instead of the 8?, but offered to fix the problem without hesitation. As a result, the garage foundation has 8? block inside 4? block inside brick. The foundation certainly isn?t going anywhere. They then built the structure with a 12? by 12? roof and attic with floor. Brick veneer was attached to the front wall and all around the foundation to match the house. We selected the same electrical and security system contractor which did the house but Dutch Barns still managed the process. We selected the interior lighting and bought the exterior fixtures including motion lights. I painted the interior to save a little money on labor, and the garage was done. They came back about a year later and fixed small warranty items such as ?nail pops? and trim issues, just as any home builder would have done. We had them upgrade our back deck while they were at it, and we plan to eventually use them to finish our basement.

This building is still in excellent shape and has never had any maintenance issues. Their materials and construction metods were very good. They delivered as promised and were professional in all respects.

Dutch Barn employees are among the most ethical, punctual and professional people I have ever encountered during a business transaction. They are more like family members than business associates.

Dutch Barns was good to work with. The carpentry and roofing were done within the time they estimated. The crew was very professional and quick. Dutch Barns was responsive to our requests and changes. The resulting building is even better than we expected. One problem that came up was when the foundation invoice wasn't given to us until the end of the contract. We hadn't been told it was a separate invoice or amount. Fortunately, they were willing to work with us ia little bit in paying it.
