We bought a new place and needed to bring some items up to code. We found Jeff on Yelp. He gave me clear rates prior scheduling appt. This was more transparent than other businesses. We wanted GFCI outlets in the kitchen and I bought a new light fixture that I wanted installed. He arrived on time, communicated well and did a great job on our outlets. He had various parts on hand to make sure the job was done properly. Not shortcuts. I love the work done and will share his info with my friends.

Jeff came out to fix a few outlets that stopped working at our place in Pacific Beach. He was super responsive, showed up on time, and explained everything in plain terms. Ended up replacing a breaker and rewiring a few things that weren’t up to code. Fair pricing and solid work — will definitely call him again for future projects.

I recently had a great experience with Jeff installing lighting throughout our condo! Some of the lights were delicate and we were very pleased with the precision and care he carried out these installations. We didn’t end up using some of the lights in the end, but Jeff took the time to patiently explain electrical matters I wasn’t knowledgable about, which I greatly appreciated. Jeff is the BEST! He is highly responsive, reliable, transparent, and knowledgeable. Punctuality is one of his strengths, and above all, he is exceptionally friendly and patient. He has replaced our fuses, installed recessed lighting, and set up ceiling fan/light combinations, completing each task efficiently and on schedule. We highly recommend his services!

Only took him one hour to do the work and all was perfect.

All went well. Installation of the constant power line went smoothly. Connecting opener to post required a trip or two for drill bits to penetrate the steel and concrete post. Finished in one day.

It took awhile for Jeff to find a nearly 50 year old replacement breaker. He was able to find one and replace it with out a problem. He provided great advice. I definitely would use Dwelling Electric again
