It went very well. The work was performed well and on time. There were a few changes along the way - which both increased and decreased the price of the work, but all changes were very reasonable and well explained. Before we contracted with him, he gave us creative ideas of how best to upgrade our irrigation - to both be functional, and also price effective. He personally followed up with his crew, and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. When there were a few small issues, he made sure they were fixed, and fixed quickly. Peter provided personal service, and was fun to work with. I also appreciated some advice he gave me on a separate project I was doing myself (a deck), That advice was very helpful. He also set up all the automatic irrigation equipment, including the wifi. I would definitely recommend Dynamic Designs.

Grubbed out the 75 sq. ft. for the new path, laid out the flagstone, mixing old and new, then set and leveled them.  The new extension of the path looks like it has always been there.  Excellent. <br />

It was great, they did a varity of work

Peter returned my call right away. Since it wasn't an emergency, he asked if my fix could wait a week or so since his schedule was booked up. That was fine with me. As promised, after a week he got back to me and scheduled a visit. He was proactive diagnosing the problem over the phone and was able to arrive with the needed parts, which saved time and costs. <br /> He took care of the problem in less than an hour and generously included the cost of the parts in with his hour minimum. I will definitely call him again for future irrigation issues. <br />

Peter and his crew are amazing.  They were able to turn our vision and the design we created with another designer into reality.  He is extremely professional and he is not afraid to refer other contractors when certain pieces of the work are best done by others.  He takes pride in his work, chooses only the top materials and plants and won't sacrifice quality.  He has gone above and beyond the initial job and wants to make sure that the landscape implementation is maintained and cared for long after his pieces are done.  He has helped in finding a fine gardner and continues to assist with changes to our garden.  This isn't a "throw it over the wall and do a job" kind of company.. this is the company you build a relationship with and who will be by your side to ensure your garden and your property endure.  I made the right decision going with Peter and feel like our significant investment will be well protected because of our ongoing professional relationship.

Dynamic Designs Landscape Solutions did a good job.  They were reasonably priced and were professional. They finished the work in an afternoon. There were two leaks that were easy to locate and another that was more difficult to find.  I would hire them again

Peter is really knowledgeable and able to help guide clients toward picking plants that will work for their lifestyle and budget. We chose drought resistant plants for our front yard with Peter's help. They are just starting to bloom and the effect is fantastic. He also found us some really interesting blueberry plants and an apple tree that we'll hopefully be harvesting from in the next couple years. <br /> Peter was able to help us figure out which portions of the project we could do ourselves to save money and which portions would be better if done by professionals. <br /> The crew was on-time and always very courteous. They left everything neat and tidy so our dog wouldn't hurt himself on any tools left around and about. <br /> We started talking to Peter about a year before the work began. He helped us figure out the scope of the project and lined up some of the materials for us to begin sheet mulching in the yard on our own. A year later the real work began and we added significantly to the scope of work by adding the backyard. The bulk of the work took about 10 days and went really smoothly. Peter worked with us to place the new plants and make sure were were happy with how things will fill out. Planting and installing new drip lines went really smoothly. <br /> In the backyard Peter built a 2' high raised bed that is gorgeous. His work on building out a new fence looks great as well. <br /> All in all we were really pleased with Dynamic Designs and our work with Peter. He really worked to fit our budget and our style and we're excited to begin enjoying our new yard.

<strong>Vendor selection:</strong> I researched and vetted multiple landscape contractors, all very well rated and reviewed. Through this process we recalibrated our investment expectations, and developed an ?informed feel? enabling us to recognize passion, professional expertise, and quality craftsmanship. <br /> I was referred to Dynamic Designs by a landscape contractor whose internet-based project reviews were well-established.  The ?Yelp!? reviews for Dynamic Designs were very good, so I made the call. <br /> Peter Rosen, owner of Dynamic Designs, walked through our project with us on site.  He provided a detailed estimate, capturing all of our project specifications, and his recommendations to which we agreed. Peter?s detailed estimate was accurate, reliable, and a valuable tool for managing our project.   <br />   <br /> From the beginning, Dynamic Designs? project estimate was inclusive of all aspects of our project. Other bids missed or excluded key aspects of the project, gave a generic ?$X/hour labor plus materials? estimate, or classified key aspects as ?add-on? options after establishing a substantial project ?baseline?. <br />   <br /> <strong>Flexibility and commitment to quality:  </strong>Once the project began, when we had a new request, or as Peter recognized opportunities for improvements, Peter communicated clearly, was flexible, and was willing to negotiate.   <br /> For instance, we requested inclusion of the replacement of an approx.  1?Hx7?L wood retaining wall.  Peter added this to the project, the Dynamic Designs team implemented the replacement impeccably, and their price was fair.                 <br /> Dynamic Designs exceeded our expectations, fulfilling their own commitment to quality, in the design and construction of our dry stack moss rock retaining wall, step, flagstone landing, flagstone patio, and terraced ?planting pockets?.  Dry stack moss rock was integrated into every aspect of our new outdoor living space.  Peter personally selected specimen boulders for steps, high-visibility areas, and planting areas.  Dynamic Designs raised and repositioned existing boulders in our garden.  Dynamic Designs delivered on detail aspects that professional craftsmen recognize.  For example, softening the cut edge of flagstone so that it?s in harmony with natural edges, and recommending pebble between the flagstones.   <br /> Peter?s plant recommendations were excellent.  I was introduced to plants that were new to me, ideal for our landscape and aesthetic, and that I absolutely adore.  Dynamic Designs was conscientious in selecting and planting the new plants as well.  Four weeks later, the plants are healthy and thriving.  In addition, when I procured additional plants, while on-site completing final project details, the Dynamic Designs team installed these plants and extended the irrigation to include the new plantings.                                 <br />   <br /> <strong>Scheduling:  </strong>Summer is the busy season and Dynamic Design?s project calendar filled up quickly.  Our project schedule was not fixed and we were able to be flexible.  If your project schedule is fixed, communicate this constraint from the beginning or select your contractor early in the season.  <br /> We first contacted Dynamic Designs in early April. At that time Peter communicated that Dynamic Designs was available.  In the 2 weeks it took to finalize the estimate, plus 1 week to complete contractor bid evaluations, then sign our written contract and pay our deposit, the starting date of our project bumped to July 8.  The actual start date of our project bumped to July 15, as prior projects impacted ours.   <br /> The project was originally scoped for 10-12 days over 2 weeks.  We agreed to an additional 2 week extension to allow Dynamic Designs to multi-task across multiple projects.  Actual duration to completion of our landscaping project:  5 weeks. <br />   <br /> <strong> Recommendation:</strong> Dynamic Designs will do the job well and right and go the extra mile.  There are so many details on which Dynamic Designs delivered, completing the project with thoroughness and professionalism.  <br /> Peter Rosen, owner, brought passion and commitment, in-depth domain expertise in all aspects of landscape design and construction, a broad road-tested and seasoned aesthetic, fair business practices, and willingness to listen to us, and collaborate and work with us, to bring our vision to fruition and improve upon it.  <br /> We are delighted with our new landscape, lawn, and outdoor living space, and confident in the construction.  We will work with Dynamic Designs again. <br />
