"Ok. Ma'am, you had a bad experience brought on by your home warranty company and also by yourself. We did not do any work for you and we were never hired by you. You never gave us a single penny of your money. You filed a claim with your terrible home warranty company. We were hired by your home warranty company. They hired us, not you. We went out to diagnose the problem. You had a bad condenser fan motor. We told you that day, on the spot and very clearly that as far as the repair went we had no control over what would happen from there. The warranty process is a long process. We made it abundantly clear that very first day that if you didn't want to wait for your warranty company to approve the repair, and it was their busiest time of the year, that you could pay full retail price and attempt to get the warranty company to later reimburse you. You had two options: pay for it yourself and have it fixed immediately or wait for the warranty company and be patient. You chose to wait on the warranty company. That was your decision. You then spent the next three days calling and complaining to us and cussing out one of the technicians, the receptionist and the manager and you demanded special treatment. We once again explained to you that unless you wanted to pay for the repair yourself you would have to wait for the warranty company to pay for it. We don't work for free. We won't work for free, just like no one else would. I could not have been more clear with you regarding the fact that if you wanted to save money you would have to wait on your warranty company. You wanted to have the repair done immediately but not pay for it yourself and also not allow us the opportunity to get authorization for the repair from the warranty company. It doesn't work that way. I explained that to you then, multiple times and am explaining it to you again now. The fact you didn't want it to be true, or you somehow thought you were more important or more special than anyone else we do work for did not and still does not entitle you to free labor. You had control of when the unit was repaired literally the entire time. You chose to wait. Now, due to the fact your outdoor unit had the model and serial number sticker removed after you moved in, your warranty company could not verify that the AC unit at your house was the same one that was there when the home inspection was done. Therefore, they denied your claim. They assumed the unit at your house to be a stolen unit. You even mentioned to me that the unit that was there was different than the unit when you first moved in, also indicating that the warranty company was correct in not covering the repair. You chose to eat for the warranty company who then denied your claim. At that point it was completely on you to pay for it yourself as the warranty company would not pay. Again, this wasn't good enough for you and you asked me to give you the chance to call the warranty company and see if you could get it worked out. So, after multiple calls made to that company and multiple threats made to both them and myself, I told you I wouldn't do work for you anymore and you would need a new contractor. End of story. You do not have the right to demand everyone adhere to you and when they don't you definitely don't have the right to call and threaten and cuss at everyone because you're not getting your way. We have done thousands of jobs through home warranty companies and sometimes we run into trouble explaining the process to people but most people catch on. Ma'am, we fired you as a customer because you cussed out my entire company and made unrealistic demands based on your inability to comprehend the situation. You did not call us retail. You never paid us a dime. We never did a repair for you. We will not give you back money you never gave us just because you want us to. If you have a problem it would be with your home inspector or your warranty company."
