This was a complete nightmare. They took our money, demolished our bathroom, and basically refused to finish the work. They were rude, arrogant, obnoxious, and frankly, criminal. I am looking forward to the day when the owner of this "company" is arrested for his repeated behavior. Be sure to look at the BBB reviews, and search the Ohio Attorney General's complaint department before you give them a penny.

The quality of work was awful. When confronted about it the owner decided to leave the job half finished. They agreed to give me my money back but it has been over a year and I have received nothing from them.

I would never recommend them to anyone for any type of work. This entire experience has been a complete nightmare. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>UPDATE</strong>:They never contacted me. My problem was not with the subcontractor. It was with the company. They broke their word over and over. Their office staff answers the phone, but their director of operations who promised to "always be available" is the one who would not respond. This company is despicable.

It started with some plaster falling from the ceiling in my stairwell. "Owner, Ryan Wilcox, came to my house to evaluate the problem and we discovered leaks when we went up to the attic. Ryan gave me an estimate of cost and time it would take to repair the roof and mend the plaster in the stairway. He and his crew arrived on the day we scheduled and completed this huge project in just eight days. His crew worked tirelessly from early morning until dark. Ryan was at the house every day, helping his crew whenever questions arose. <br /> Ryan and his crew were professional, polite, friendly, and competent. They discovered some rotten wood on one flat roof and we discussed how to proceed. They removed and replaced the old wood. They also helped me remove boxes from the attic before reroofing. When the roof was finished, we discovered a problem with the eves and fixed them at no charge. Finally, they fixed my ceiling with drywall and painted it. <br /> The crew cleaned up after their work every day. The work went as smoothly as it possibly could. The roof is beautiful. I could not ask for a better job or better company. I've had a number of remodeling projects over the past 10 years. Without a doubt Ryan and Dynasty company are the best I've ever hired. <br />

Excellent. As I stated before, I was very pleased from start to finish with the work rendered. They were very responsive initially, due to my mother's situation. Ryan provided us with every opportunity to ask questions. He kept us up-to-date on every aspect of the project, even making an extra effort to call me to let me know about the problem with the roof vents and staying late to meet me at the house to show me the problems in person. He ensured we were happy with the work.

Ryan came and gave me a bid on a house we was rehabbing. He seemed very professional and had some references. That all changed when he started the project. The man doesn't know anything about drywalling. He told us that he was done with a room and only put 1 layer of mud on the seams told us that once we painted it we wouldn't see the seams. You could tell he didn't like to be questioned about his work. He didn't know how to do corners they there were air pockets behind and could be easily pushed in . He told us that he wasn't letting plaster set up. We have 3 rentals so I know that's not the right way to do plastering. We asked him about a knock down on the walls, his reply was 'whats that', anyone that is a professional or even novice knows what a knock-down coat is. He showed up at our house ill equipped to do any drywalling we let him use our tools that we had (drywall lift, t square, roto zip). There are spots in the wall that we can push in because he didn't put any backing behind to make it solid. Now he says that we wanted short cuts. I've never taken a short cut in my life, unless hiring him was one. His cuts for lights in the center of rooms were so terrible we had to redo some or put extra big covers for the ceiling fans and bigger switch plate covers around plugs. Please don't let this man anywhere close to your house. He has a brother with a smart mouth when I told him I would be back later in the day he told me I didn't need to. My reply was that I would be back whether he liked it or not. I wish now I would have fired them right away but I gave half the money up front. He has no guarantee for his work so when left he told that was all he was going to do. I filed a complaint with the BBB he said he was a member but like many of his things on his site it was lie. He since has removed the BBB emblem. Save yourself a lot of head ache and don't hire this man, he is not to be trusted to do the work right.

"THIS GENTLEMAN IS JUST NOT TELLING THE TRUTH. WE ARE MEMBERS OF THE (BBB) BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. HE DID FILE A COMPLAINT AND IT HAS BEEN RESOLVED THROUGH THE BBB AND YET HE WRITES SUCH FALSE STATEMENTS ABOUT ME AND MY COMPANY. HE WANTED TO TURN A FORECLOSED HOME BUILT IN 1902 INTO A BRAND NEW HOUSE, WITHOUT SPENDING THE MONEY TO DO SO. HE HIRED DYNASTY REMODELING TO INSTALL DRYWALL OVER EXISTING PLASTER WALLS AND CEILINGS. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM MANY TIMES IN THE PLANNING PHASE THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO REMOVE ALL THE OLD PLASTER AND INSTALL NEW GYPSUM BOARD, BUT HE DIDN'T LIKE THAT IDEA BECAUSE OF THE COST. I DO HAVE PICTURES OF THIS PROJECT STILL POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE. I STAND BEHIND OUR WORK. WE WENT TO GREAT LENGTHS TO MAKE HIM AND HIS WIFE HAPPY. I ONLY HOPE THAT HOMEOWNERS READING THIS WILL LOOK AT THE REPORTS FROM THE BBB AND FIND THAT DYNASTY REMODELING DID EVERYTHING IT COULD TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION WITH THE HOMEOWNER. I had heard through some friends about a small business named Dynasty Remodeling that would come to my home to give me a free estimate. I checked out their website and was very impressed. After the owner of the company himself personally came to my home and gave me my free estimate, which was considerably lower than others I had received(around 4000 dollars less for the highest) I knew I wanted to use this company. They had all the proper certification and insurance. After scheduling the job for 2 weeks later they came to my home and started doing the work. They told me it would be around 2 days worth of work. However, after the first day and the tear-off, I was told about some bad decking I should replace as well. They had taken digital pictures of the rotted and damaged decking to show me how bad it needed to be replaced. This made the decision even easier. I agreed to have them replace the bad decking and was told this would require an additional day of work. To my surprise they gave me five 4x8 sheets for free and the other three were only ten dollars apiece including labor. The owner was right on with his timing as they finished the job in 3 days. I was extremely happy with their personality and the quality of work done. I am highly recommending this company.

The work was to take 3 days and was never finished properly. The contractor attempted to do the plumbing work himself and left a leaking solder joint on the water line behind a finished wall. The contractor make six separate attempts to repair and "patch". Of course, none of the attempts worked and eventually the contractor just gave up. I had to hire a plumber to fix the leak which took about 1/2 hour. The contractor agreed to pay backcharges to cover the leak repair, but as of two months later has never paid. Unless you want your project to be a training ground for unskilled labor, do not hire Dynasty Remodeling.

THIS WAS ONLY FOR THE BATHTUB & SHOWER AREA. THE REST OF THE DEMO THAT WAS BEING DONE TO THE CERAMIC TILES AND FLOOR WAS GOING TO BE DONE BY THE HOMEOWNER. AFTER SHOWER, TUB SURROUND, AND ALL FIXTURES AND PLUMBING WERE INSTALLED. PROJECT DETAILS / INSTALLATION DRYWALL WAS INSTALLED TO MATCH OLD PLASTER. IT WAS TAPED, MUDDED, AND FINISHED. INSTALL SHUT-OFF VALVES IN CRAWLSPACE. INSTALLED NEW SHOWER AND TUB SURROUND TO MANUFACTURES WARRANTY. INSTALLED NEW SINGLE SHOWER FAUCET (WERE SEPARATE HOT & COLD WERE PREVIOUSLY SET UP). INSTALLED ALL NEW SHOWER & TUB FIXTURES. ALL PLUMBING WAS CONNECTED USING AN ACCESS PANEL AND CRAWLSPACE. NOT A FINISHED WALL. SUMMARY:ONCE WE COMPLETED THE JOB EVERYTHING WAS CHECKED & RECHECKED FOR LEAKS BY ME (RYAN A. WILCOX THE OWNER) AND THE HOMEOWNER. AT NO TIME WERE THERE ANY LEAKS OF ANY KIND. THEY AGREED THAT THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED AND DONE PROPERLY. AT WHICH POINT THEY PAID THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THERE BILL. AFTER WE WERE DONE THEY TOLD ME DEMO WORK WAS GOING TO BE PERFORMED BY THE COUPLE THAT INCLUDED KNOCKING DOWN AND REMOVING CERAMIC TILE FROM THE WALLS, FLOOR, AND REMOVING A VANITY. 7 DAYS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND SIGNED OFF ON BY BOTH HOMEOWNERS I RECEIVED A CALL THAT THERE WAS A LEAK. I ASKED WHERE? AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS NOW BEHIND A WALL THAT THEY HAD CLOSED UP. WHICH USED TO BE WHERE THE OLD ACCESS PANEL WAS. I WENT OVER THAT SAME AFTERNOON AND REMOVED A SMALL SECTION OF DRYWALL AND PATCHED THE LEAK (PATCHED BECAUSE THERE WAS A WALL & NO ACCESS PANEL ANYMORE, THEY DID NOT WANT TO REMOVE THE DRYWALL COMPLETELY TO GAIN ACCESS). THIS PATCH WAS SUFFICIENT AND HELD, WITH NO LEAKS AND NO MOISTURE OF ANY KIND LEAVING SAID PIPE! ONCE AGAIN IT WAS CHECKED AND SIGNED OFF ON. I THEN PATCHED THE DRYWALL, TAPED AND MUDDED IT. 5 DAYS LATER I RECEIVE ANOTHER PHONE CALL SAYING THEY WEREN'T GOING TO ACCEPT A PATCH JOB. I ASKED IF THE PIPE WAS LEAKING? LAURA SAID NO BUT THEY JUST WEREN'T GOING TO ACCEPT A PATCH. I WENT BACK AGAIN AND TALKED WITH THE HOMEOWNERS THAT MORNING. I COULDN'T FIND ANY LOGICAL REASON OR EXPLANATION FROM THE COUPLE AS TO WHY THEY WANTED ME TO FIX SOMETHING THAT WASN'T BROKEN? I LEFT IT AT THAT AND TRIED TO ASSURE THEM THAT IF FOR SOME REASON THERE WAS ANOTHER INCIDENT (LEAK) TO CALL A PLUMBER AND I WOULD IF I THOUGHT IT WAS A REASONABLE REQUEST PAY FOR THE BACK CHARGES. I ASSUME THEY GOT RIGHT ON THE PHONE AND DID JUST THAT BECAUSE A DAY OR SO LATER I WAS GETTING PHONE CALLS FROM BOTH OF THEM DEMANDING MONEY! THEY WANTED ME TO PAY $150 FOR THE PLUMBER THAT THEY HIRED! TO THIS DAY THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED A BILL OR ANY RECEIPT PAYED BY THEM TO ANY PLUMBER. SO I HAVE REFUSED TO PAY THESE SO CALLED BACK CHARGES. I AM IN SUCH A BUSINESS THAT MAKING THE HOMEOWNER HAPPY WITH ALL WORK PERFORMED IS ESSENTIAL.
