"THIS GENTLEMAN IS JUST NOT TELLING THE TRUTH. WE ARE MEMBERS OF THE (BBB) BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. HE DID FILE A COMPLAINT AND IT HAS BEEN RESOLVED THROUGH THE BBB AND YET HE WRITES SUCH FALSE STATEMENTS ABOUT ME AND MY COMPANY. HE WANTED TO TURN A FORECLOSED HOME BUILT IN 1902 INTO A BRAND NEW HOUSE, WITHOUT SPENDING THE MONEY TO DO SO. HE HIRED DYNASTY REMODELING TO INSTALL DRYWALL OVER EXISTING PLASTER WALLS AND CEILINGS. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM MANY TIMES IN THE PLANNING PHASE THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO REMOVE ALL THE OLD PLASTER AND INSTALL NEW GYPSUM BOARD, BUT HE DIDN'T LIKE THAT IDEA BECAUSE OF THE COST. I DO HAVE PICTURES OF THIS PROJECT STILL POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE. I STAND BEHIND OUR WORK. WE WENT TO GREAT LENGTHS TO MAKE HIM AND HIS WIFE HAPPY. I ONLY HOPE THAT HOMEOWNERS READING THIS WILL LOOK AT THE REPORTS FROM THE BBB AND FIND THAT DYNASTY REMODELING DID EVERYTHING IT COULD TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION WITH THE HOMEOWNER. "THE PROJECT DETAILS / REMOVAL: REMOVE A CAST IRON TUB, REMOVE CERAMIC TILES ON THE WALLS, REMOVE PLASTER DOWN TO STUDS, AND REMOVE ALL SHOWER & TUB FIXTURES. THIS WAS ONLY FOR THE BATHTUB & SHOWER AREA. THE REST OF THE DEMO THAT WAS BEING DONE TO THE CERAMIC TILES AND FLOOR WAS GOING TO BE DONE BY THE HOMEOWNER. AFTER SHOWER, TUB SURROUND, AND ALL FIXTURES AND PLUMBING WERE INSTALLED. PROJECT DETAILS / INSTALLATION DRYWALL WAS INSTALLED TO MATCH OLD PLASTER. IT WAS TAPED, MUDDED, AND FINISHED. INSTALL SHUT-OFF VALVES IN CRAWLSPACE. INSTALLED NEW SHOWER AND TUB SURROUND TO MANUFACTURES WARRANTY. INSTALLED NEW SINGLE SHOWER FAUCET (WERE SEPARATE HOT & COLD WERE PREVIOUSLY SET UP). INSTALLED ALL NEW SHOWER & TUB FIXTURES. ALL PLUMBING WAS CONNECTED USING AN ACCESS PANEL AND CRAWLSPACE. NOT A FINISHED WALL. SUMMARY:ONCE WE COMPLETED THE JOB EVERYTHING WAS CHECKED & RECHECKED FOR LEAKS BY ME (RYAN A. WILCOX THE OWNER) AND THE HOMEOWNER. AT NO TIME WERE THERE ANY LEAKS OF ANY KIND. THEY AGREED THAT THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED AND DONE PROPERLY. AT WHICH POINT THEY PAID THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THERE BILL. AFTER WE WERE DONE THEY TOLD ME DEMO WORK WAS GOING TO BE PERFORMED BY THE COUPLE THAT INCLUDED KNOCKING DOWN AND REMOVING CERAMIC TILE FROM THE WALLS, FLOOR, AND REMOVING A VANITY. 7 DAYS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND SIGNED OFF ON BY BOTH HOMEOWNERS I RECEIVED A CALL THAT THERE WAS A LEAK. I ASKED WHERE? AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS NOW BEHIND A WALL THAT THEY HAD CLOSED UP. WHICH USED TO BE WHERE THE OLD ACCESS PANEL WAS. I WENT OVER THAT SAME AFTERNOON AND REMOVED A SMALL SECTION OF DRYWALL AND PATCHED THE LEAK (PATCHED BECAUSE THERE WAS A WALL & NO ACCESS PANEL ANYMORE, THEY DID NOT WANT TO REMOVE THE DRYWALL COMPLETELY TO GAIN ACCESS). THIS PATCH WAS SUFFICIENT AND HELD, WITH NO LEAKS AND NO MOISTURE OF ANY KIND LEAVING SAID PIPE! ONCE AGAIN IT WAS CHECKED AND SIGNED OFF ON. I THEN PATCHED THE DRYWALL, TAPED AND MUDDED IT. 5 DAYS LATER I RECEIVE ANOTHER PHONE CALL SAYING THEY WEREN'T GOING TO ACCEPT A PATCH JOB. I ASKED IF THE PIPE WAS LEAKING? LAURA SAID NO BUT THEY JUST WEREN'T GOING TO ACCEPT A PATCH. I WENT BACK AGAIN AND TALKED WITH THE HOMEOWNERS THAT MORNING. I COULDN'T FIND ANY LOGICAL REASON OR EXPLANATION FROM THE COUPLE AS TO WHY THEY WANTED ME TO FIX SOMETHING THAT WASN'T BROKEN? I LEFT IT AT THAT AND TRIED TO ASSURE THEM THAT IF FOR SOME REASON THERE WAS ANOTHER INCIDENT (LEAK) TO CALL A PLUMBER AND I WOULD IF I THOUGHT IT WAS A REASONABLE REQUEST PAY FOR THE BACK CHARGES. I ASSUME THEY GOT RIGHT ON THE PHONE AND DID JUST THAT BECAUSE A DAY OR SO LATER I WAS GETTING PHONE CALLS FROM BOTH OF THEM DEMANDING MONEY! THEY WANTED ME TO PAY $150 FOR THE PLUMBER THAT THEY HIRED! TO THIS DAY THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED A BILL OR ANY RECEIPT PAYED BY THEM TO ANY PLUMBER. SO I HAVE REFUSED TO PAY THESE SO CALLED BACK CHARGES. I AM IN SUCH A BUSINESS THAT MAKING THE HOMEOWNER HAPPY WITH ALL WORK PERFORMED IS ESSENTIAL. BUT IN THIS CASE I CANNOT SEE OR FIND IT IN ME TO PAY THEM BACK CHARGES. RYAN A. WILCOX OWNER DYNASTY REMODELING"
