I have had a major renovation done by DYS and canâ t recommend them. Daniel, the owner seemingly personable turned out to be quite manipulative. He refused to pull building permits for new bathrooms, kitchen and HVAC, even though I brought it up multiple times, and it was part of the contract. He does not have a licensed plumber nor electrician on staff. The electrical guy didnâ t know basic code like height of wall outlets or max number of outlets per circuit, nor how to read electrical drawings. Several lights and outlets did not work due to sloppy work. The owner was hardly ever on site and had no clue what was going on. When he did show up then mostly to complain about how he is losing money on this job. I had to constantly lend them my tools, some of which went missing. One day the owner showed up with his assistant to collect the last payment. He told me, he can get really nasty if I do not pay immediately. At that point they were still not done with their work, I still had no proper heat, and havenâ t seen the final bill either. All these years in Baltimore I had no issues with crime, and now my contractor and his assistant are threatening me in my own house! The fact that they were 6 weeks late, and liquidated damages associated with breaching of the contract, were ignored. Apparently if you want DYS to execute what is in their contract you better lawyer up. They left several holes in the exterior wall and once the weather got cold, I had to deal with a mice infestation. The new toilet leaked and damaged the ceiling underneath. It took them multiple attempts to install the radiator. To summarize: in the end most, not all, issues have been resolved, the framer Jose and drywall-er Vidal are all around skilled and hard-working men that I would hire again in a heartbeat, electrical crew needs training, and the owner is manipulative and greedy.

Repaired home after wind damage and after being let down by two other companies. Great customer service and made sure I was 100% satisfied. I would use them again and I highly recommend.

We had our front porch roof replaced. DYS Construction did an amazing job. My first contact was with Alon. He was very responsive to all my questions and emails. Daniel, the owner, was very hands on during the whole project, from start to finish. He stopped by on a daily basis to check on the project. Sometimes I would even see him with a hammer in his hand, too. We had some issues with the columns that were installed, no fault of Daniels' and Daniel stayed on top of it and got everything resolved. He kept us in the loop during the process. Jose, the carpenter does amazing work. He is very meticulous in his work. Before he left for the day he made sure everything was cleaned up. Everyone that we encountered at DYS Construction was very professional and attentive to our project and we would recommend them to everyone. We will hire them again for future projects, as well. Our front porch looks beautiful! Thank you Alon, Daniel, Jose and everyone at DYS Construction.

Very Highly Recommend! DYS Construction repaired areas of termite damage on our sunroom. They successfully removed the termite damaged wood and replaced with new wood, re-attached the siding, and installed new flashing in the surrounding areas. All work was completed much quicker than we had thought possible for less than all other estimates we received. We are very pleased with their work and won't hesitate to contact them again for other home repairs!

Professional, friendly, and reliable owner and employees. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Confidence in the quality and craftmanship of the complete job. Owner was very hands on and inspected worksite daily. Communication was Excellent throughout the project from quote to completion. I will definitely hire this crew back for our next project.

The experience was very good. I personally leave more of these types of projects to my husband. The confersations were addressed to my husband and myself which made me feel even better about the project. I would choose them again for any future projects, for sure.
