It went great and they did a fantastic job. For the fireplace wouldn't burn so they clean the glass and clean the whole inside of the fireplace.

I needed a 40 x 38” mirror put up over my sink in my bathroom. Mr. Morrison was prompt looked at the situation and put up the mirror with glue and clips. We made the appointment two weeks ago for this Monday and he was here on time. I would gladly hire him again.

Highly recommended. Greg was very responsive. He made recommendations according to what I said I needed, when he could have suggested something more costly. He finished the work quickly and correctly. All in all, a pleasure to do business with him.

The company representative arrived ON TIME and provided a detailed estimate on work to be accomplished. He answered all questions about the glass doors and the installation process. The company had to reschedule installation due to very bad weather in the area. They were very up front about not being willing to handle large pieces of glass in High winds. On the day of the installation they arrived on time and perform a quick professional installation of our glass doors. The installer explained care of the doors. The installers cleaned up the installation area extremely well and left on schedule. The glass doors where the last component of a two bathroom remodel. The company was the only company on time and did what they said they were going to do ON TIME. I guess we save the best To last.

This is an update on my prior review below regarding the concerned issues that I had. Having no choice but to write the first review, apparently helped him to understand my position and hopefully made him realize the importance of good customer service. Being said, Gregory responded on my review that he was willing to come back out and resolve things. I was happy to email him to work out a convenient time to come back and try to make things right. I'm happy to say that his cooperation was great and the job looks so much better. I can now post the nice job that he did and would recommend his services. Thank you again, Gregory, for coming back two more times to make things more functional and a nice appearance.

D.Christman

Due to the tile walls being a little off, as far as alignment, this caused some issues with the glass door not fitting properly. The gaps on each side were too wide and wasn't straight at the top of the door. They came back and tried to re-align things. I looked at the door and things were much better, but the door would not stay open when you would swing it inside the shower or outside the shower. He said this was the best he could do, so I told him I didn't like that, but agreed to finish paying the balance on the bill. I felt like the whole enclosure needed to be revamped or something to make it right. As I began to clean up things in the master bath, I was wiping down the shower and glass and noticed this plastic piece that was wedged up on one side of my framing at the top, between glass and frame. Then I saw where they used silicone to push one of the front glasses outward at the top of the framing, so it would line up with my shower door. There was also a strip of hard clear plastic stuck up under the plastic piece where the door is attached at the bottom. It created a popping noise everytime you would swing the door back and forth. I tried calling the guy the same day, texting him, and emailing him regarding these things that he didn't point out to me at the completion of the job. I tried to reach him several times, even left a voice message. I have not had one response from him, so I'm real disappointed in him and the fact that I was kind enough to pay him, but also knew that he would stand by his work, as I was told from the beginning. Yes, I found him right here on Angie's List, so I'm not so sure I could recommend this company to anyone. If you can't return calls to good honest customers and want to make things right, then you don't need to be listed here on Angie's List. No doubt, this guy knew he didn't tell me about these things so NO, I do not like anything in my home being "rigged" up, as you could say. It's just a tacky job. So, here it is July 14th and I still have no response. I am really disappointed with this company.

"I do apologizee for the shim being left at the top. I will be glad to remove it and caulk the gap. As far as all the other issues she is concerned with. We addressed all issues before starting job. There were many issues with her shower that we went over. Walls not lining up ,plumness, level etc. We can only install a enclosure as good as we can when everything is out like it was. Again my apologizes for you not liking the finish work . We do our best to satisfy our customers but we have to work with what was provided to us."

The process went smoothly and it looks really nice. We went with semi frameless 1/4 glass. It looks so much better than the old one, there is much less metal in this one. The old one had metal framing at every angle where this has framing only on the perimeter.

The provider was very knowledgeable and put in the extra effort to cover existing holes from the previous shower stall. Because he covered the existing holes, he had to reorder the glass for one side of the shower stall and didn't charge extra for this change. He met our needs with a reasonable price and turnaround timeframe. I would definitely call East Coast Glass again.
We had finally finished our master bath remodel and were ready to have our existing frameless shower door re-installed. During the remodel we decided to change out the fixtures and now the hardware on the door needed to be updated as well to match. We went back to the dealer who originally sold and installed the door and I nearly fell off my chair when I saw their estimate. It was almost as much as the cost of a new door! I started calling other local dealers and found Greg to be the most responsive and the most helpful in working with us on the cost. He explained the pricing, gave us recommendations to help lower the cost and worked with us to get the door installed before the holidays. The team that came in to do the work was professional, on time and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.
We called on Gregory Morrison at East Coast Glass after we broke a panel in our shower surround and decided we might as well update the entire thing. We had looked at several chain home improvement stores, but they all subcontracted and we wanted to work with our contractor directly. We found East Coast Glass through a survey of local websites and liked his presentation.
Greg came out very promptly after we called, and we were impressed with both his professionalism and his down-to-earth manner. We felt very comfortable with his solid recommendations for our job. He explored options with us and advised us on directions taking into account our budget. He also recommended several contractors to handle other parts of the job. When (through no fault of his) we were not able to go that route, he re-evaluated the job to eliminate them and came back with a retooled quote.
East Coast Glass and Interiors arrived on the estimated date, did their work efficiently, and left a clean worksite. We're extremely happy with the shower and with the service we received, and I would recommend this company with confidence to friends and family.
