The job didn't go as well as expected. Price was competitive. The quality of the materials seem good. I'm NOT impressed with the professionalism and interaction with the owner/installer. I arrainged for East Coast Gutters to talk with my carpenter about fascier changes prior to doing the job. He didnt do that and I believe the end result would have been better if he had. Also, there is one area where the upper roof is drained directly onto the shingles of a lower roof rather than draining through a downspout (as with my old gutter system). That was the way their proposal read but I didn't see this unessary and undesired detail in the plan. The design change should have been discussed prior to the job. I told the East Coast Gutters owner/installer that this design was not acceptable. He offered to fix/change it "next time he was in the area" for an additional charge. I asked for a more specific time and he refused to give me that. I will contract someone else to fix this. I suggest homeowners look for a more professional company or hold partial payment until the job is completed to your complete satisfaction.

The initial consultation went well, installation was quick, but follow up was lousy. We experienced a problem with how one of the gutters was installed, and asked them to come back and fix the problem. We called many, many times, and were either told they would be out soon or we left a message reminding them of our problem with no response from the company. They continue to avoid us. Considering the fix would be inexpensive and simple, we are very disappointed in their response to our problem.

For the most part, the original installation was fine - but had to clean up after them . We went back and forth on the Gutter Guard - went with it but wouldn't do it again as we really feel it has not performed to what we were sold - You still need to clean your gutters. Our biggest issue with the owner was SERVICE after installation. All we've heard from the owner was "next time I'm in the area", etc. Send a request, you get alot of 1 line responses, excuses. Crux of the issue is we're undergoing an addition and needed to make a change to the existing gutter system and the owner basically wanted nothing to do with the repair and was only interested in the bigger job once our addition was completed. Fact of the matter is we needed to adjust the gutter and downspout as a result of the addition but Jules couldn't be bothered. We were very accomodating - gave Jules proper leeway, sent pictures of what we needed addressed but had a difficult time comprehending our simple request. Thus, we've had to find another installer who installs Rainpro gutters and didn't have to beg them to do business with. The fact of the matter is within the NH area East Coast is the only one who installs and you need to go outside of NH to find another installer. Your options are very limited - had we known this, we would have NEVER gone with Rainpro gutters. All East Coast is interested in is the big jobs and your SOL for service. Oh yeah - as a customer, I've never been called an "arsehole" by a Contractor - I was like WOW ! All we can say - Buyer BEWARE !!

Went as planned; very professional, courteous. <br />

They quoted a fair price, installed the gutters as we agreed, were punctual, polite and professional. The color of the gutters blend in with the overhang on the house so that you can't even notice we have gutters and the downspouts blend in with the trim as well. All in all an excellent job and we are very pleased. <br />

The company was responsive at the beginning, when I requested they come out for an estimate.  Once we had a contract, they showed up on the agreed date, and the work went fine.  Now, after a couple of bad winters, I noticed a part of the gutter seemed to have sagged a bit.  I got up as high as I could to check, and it seems to me a screw is broken on one of the hangers, since I was able to shake that end of the gutter a bit.  <br /> <br /> <br /> Update:  The company contacted me, and agreed on a date to come out and take a look at the problem.  The owner personally came out, and reinforced the section of gutter.  He was very friendly while addressing the problem as well.  Updating my rating due to the resolution.

This company is fantastic. They are professional and their prices are very reasonable.  More importantly, their final work product was excellent and they showed up on time and completed the job on time.  Thank you.

This is the second time (second house) I've used East Coast gutters and the second great experience I've had. <br /> <br />I don't even bother getting quotes from anyone else.  East Coast always has the most reasonable price and the best quality product. <br /> <br />Sales reps are knowledgeable and responsive and the installers are skilled and efficient.  The gutters were installed on-time with no issues and the property was spotless when they left.  I've recommended East coast to several others and would definitely use them again.

it went seamlessly - just like the gutters. <br /> Please note the the date i gave for installation is approximate - i left my paperwork at home and am a little foggy on actual date of installation.  But it was cold rainy/snowy crappy day & i was amazed the installer would go up on a ladder on a day like that.   <br /> Work site was left in same condition it was in before this install was done.   <br /> I was a little confused with the diagram and thought a drain pipe was going on one side and not the side depicted - i wanted the drain pipe to really not draining in one particular area as i was having a water issue - so they installed a really long drain pipe extension.  Worked out great . <br />

They did a great job. They scheduled an appointment, showed up on that day and they did the job so they were fine. They were supposed to come back to fix some things but they eventually did. <br />

They were very quick and through. Gutters look great. <br />

<p>Excellent experience end-to-end. Jamie provided the estimate and explained the process. We were initially interested in just getting gutter guards, but decided to go with the new gutters as well in order to get the lifetime no-clog warranty. Of course, only time will tell how well these will stand up over time, but they definitely look solid and large enough to handle any debris (such as pine needles) that DO get through the guards. The installers showed up on time, introduced themselves, and went about their business as if they had done this all of their lives. They spent about 9 hours removing and installing 256' of gutter on a mixed 1 and 2 story home. They left absolutely zero debris behind, and I watched them removing old screws from the existing gutters - they pocketed everything they removed so there was really no cleanup to be done when they were finished. They took the old gutters with them, and you would never know we had work done except for the new gutters and downspouts. The only (really minor) gripe is that the extended drip edge they installed is white, while the gutters are not. Jamie told us this up front, but in a perfect world the extended edge would match the gutter. We may try and have the exposed white painted, as while the gutters melt right into the trim, the band of white above them draws the eye. Or we may get used to it, it's hard to say at this point!</p> <p>I would definitely recommend this company to others - their prices were competitive, their product looks really solid, and their professionalism was top-notch.</p> <br />

I don't feel good about the lack of responsiveness. I worry that if we need them to come back to fix any of their work, we won't be able to reach them.

They arrived promptly and went over what was to be done and how long they expected to be there. They got right to work and finished in there estimated time. <br />

Despite having never met anyone from the company, since I work far away and couldn't be there, everything went smoothly. They quickly contacted me after I submitted an inquiry on their website. A salesman stopped by a few days later and left a detailed packet of the proposed work, a sketch of the installation, manufacturer information and color samples with his color recommendation for the best match. I e-mailed back and forth a few questions. Once I was satisfied, I returned a signed proposal, they scheduled the installation. One day I came home and my new gutters were installed. They had initially forgotten the downspout extension I requested, but they quickly came back when I notified them and they installed extensions on all downspouts (a nice bonus). The price was a bit higher than some of the other quotes I got, but I feel as if I got a better product (beefy RainPro gutters vs the standard aluminum), so all in all I think the service and price were great.

The estimator was very profession and sold me on the product. The installers could of worn shirts and done the job right the first time. I had to have them out twice to rehang them, as the slope was done wrong and then they left holes in the facia. I called with the issues and they were out within 48 hours to fix them. Just having them 3 times really disappointed me.

I called several professional gutter installation firms in the area and searched web sites including Angie's List for sources. Even though it was a simple ranch style requiring only a single straight 42' gutters on front and back of the house we had a special consideration since we only wanted downspouts on one end. There is a driveway on one end and no room for runoff. East Coast Gutters was the only one who made us aware of the issues with volume that could occur using standard gutters with limited downspout capacity. They were the only ones who actually took the time to look at the house before quoting a price. They offered a solution that uses a different kind of gutter accommodating the higher volume of flow given the limited downspouts. They scheduled the work for the following week and finished in only a few hours. They did an excellent job.

DURING A RAIN, ONE SECTION OF THE GUTTERS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE HOUSE DRIP BETWEEN THE GUTTER AND THE HOUSE, SO BASICALLY THE GUTTER ISN'T FUNCTIONING IN THIS SECTION. I HAVE CALLED TWO TIMES DURING THE PAST TWO WEEKS WITH NO RESPONSE. THEY CALLED EVERY DAY TO SEE IF I WANTED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE JOB ORIGINALLY, AND NOW THAT I NEED A SERVICE CALL THEY CAN'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO RESPOND.
