Juan was wonderful! He was quick to assess the back up in our minisplit and fixed it quickly! Plus, he was very quiet, respectful, even wearing boot covers in our home and cleaning up after the job as well!

Our air conditioner stopped working after a recent storm, and the Cool Crew was able to come out quickly. There was a slight communication issue with the technician and confusion with pricing, however the owner and his business partner were very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was wrong, how they would fix it, and answered all of our questions. They checked our system thoroughly, replaced the damaged part, and made sure everything was running properly before leaving and the service was outstanding. I would definitely use them again.

Not the best experience. Their AC maintenance isnt really maintenance; more like checkup. No condensation coil cleanup, no condensation line checkup ... just checking pressure and some voltages. Blower wheel was grinding and even though they said motor is still at half the life they said we should replace both. In hindsight I wouldnt have replaced the blower motor; just the wheel. Was also told drain lines arent draining properly and need to be remade, and a switch put in place. They just added a T with a pipe before the P trap. Now air is blowing in the attic through there because its before the P trap. I checked after and I already had vents on both lines, after P traps. And they didnt install any switch they mentioned before. Tried calling them and they just say someone is going to call back about this. No one called back.

My only problem with this company was they did not give me a written receipt for the work they did. I am not computer savvy. so no paper receipt. Otherwise. they did a great job. old unit repaired---said I should get three more years out of the unit. Price was very reasonable; especially to the cost of a new unit.

Our 20 year old a/c system was on it's last leg, requiring expensive service calls and times without a/c a few times a year. We knew it had to be replaced, but were overwhelmed by starting the process of selecting and paying for a new system. These guys made it simple, and replaced our a/c system and installed a new water heater 2 weeks ago. Red carpet service, and excellent results all around! Their help with selecting a system beforehand by offering 3 options in a simple format via email, complete with pricing and warranty information, was extremely helpful. With our busy lives, we appreciated not having to do all the homework ourselves. Each time I had a question during the process and installation of these 2 sytems, I was able to text the owner of the company, who always responded within minutes. We had some concerns with the sheet rock on the wall near the water heater being a little beat up. (I know, picky, as it's in the attic!) Within 2 days, they sent a guy over to sheet rock the area in question. He did an excellent job, and we were amazed at that level of customer service! I highly recommend Setpoint, and would have no qualms about recommending them to anyone! (I also forgot to mention that their prices, even on the most expensive option, were lower than any option the other 2 companies we contacted offered.) Sincerely, Sissy P.

I must have received 20 quotes and was trying to get the best equipment for the money. This was an unexpected expense, and although we were on a budget, we wanted to get a high Seer rating and great quality. We got an American Standard variable speed platinum series. However, this was the only company that diagnosed my old system properly and was honest to say that I did not need to replace it, they even tracked down that the coil that was leaking was under warranty! They offered to get the part for me! We decided to go with them for the new unit since the old unit was R-22 and 15-years-old. The quality of work was great, they were very clean and respectful around the house, and the leadership of the company is involved. We were so amazed at the involvement of their leadership. The crew leader was knowledgeable, the sales rep came out to check, and when it was nearly done, the owner showed up to inspect their work and take photos as well. You do not see that with other contractors. They even had field service reps from American Standard out to the house to check. Do not waste time getting quotes and trying to read specs online, hire this company, and you will be glad you did.

These guys saved the day! My HVAC went out on me in the middle of Austinâ  s 2021 Snowpocalypse, and I called the folks who did the install and they literally blew me off! Called Setpoint and got a friendly and professional service tech right away! They said no problem and came out the very next day and rigged it up so that I could stay warm and safe until a replacement breaker came in. They literally checked on me almost every day to make sure my family was good and things were working properly. A super customer service oriented local team that showed me they cared about their customers! I canâ  t thank them enough for how they handled my situation.

He was very professional and efficient and had the thermostat working properly within 30 mins of arriving. Not a huge job, but the level of service and professionalism displayed was enormous.
