Echo Excavation

We wanted to help with our foundation drainage as the hills all led to water pooling to the back of our house. Also had French drains installed. Very happy with the quality of work especially so close to our home foundation. Highly recommend and have used Echo Excavation for multiple projects.

I used Echo Excavation for a huge job at my home. I needed an emergency Main sewer Line replaced as mine had collapsed completely due to roots. He had to dig a trench uphill, under two stonewalls that have been here for decades, to connect to my sewer through a fieldstone foundation into my basement. I cannot express enough about how tricky of an operation this was, yet he completed it flawlessly. He first dropped the offending tree perfectly in the only spot it could be dropped (very tight quarters, power lines, etc). Removed it completely, dug the trench on very uneven, uphill terrain, under TWO stonewalls, right up to my fieldstone foundation. At the time he reached my foundation he was roughly 10 feet underground to be able to access my Line. Nothing about this was easy. He then replaced everything including saving my stonewalls, & even rearranged my top stonewall to make it look better! We had to remove my front stairs to access the yard, on his way out he rebuilt those too. Instead of wooden stairs, he hand built stairs using landscaping blocks placed directly into the earth. We went from having a serious sewage emergency, with about a 75% probability of losing two stonewalls in the process, having to hire a "tree guy", hiring a stone mason to rebuild the walls & potentially foundation work, & rebuilding a large set of main access stairs, to simply calling Curtice at Echo Excavation! Problem(s) solved, and our yard looks 10× better now. I honestly couldn't imagine a better outcome. He did all of this in a professional, timely manner, & for a great price. Echo Excavation is a local gem!

They were very professional and performed quality work with grading and soil preparation. I'm a very pleased customer and would recommend them to anyone needing excavation. We were having trouble with the melting snow and then rain water building up next to our foundation and knew we needed it fixed. We saw Echo Excavations signs locally so we decided it was time to call. Incredibly reasonable completion time and he has a mini excavator so he was able to do really precise work and you can tell he cares so much about what he does. He is already working on a second project for us to take down some trees and clear some land to open up our backyard for our two kids and are thrilled. My daughter loves when the owner Echo, comes with him she is the sweetest husky you will ever meet.
