I get this question way more than I ever thought I would. I guess the name Ecology, doesn't exactly bring to mind "heating and air conditioning contractor". This is the brief story on how we knew we had to serve our clients as Ecology Air Innovations. First, and least, the definition: Ecology: the branch of biology that deals with the relations of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings. To us, this is You. Your family. Your Home. Your Comfort. Our Science. Second, and the real reason why: Jake and I both worked for Ecology Sprinkler, a successful landscape company owned by Jake's grandparents (Memaw, Billie and Papa Bob.) I presented 3 options of company names to Jake. It wasn't even a discussion. We knew it had to be Ecology Air. We like to keep things simple and flexible for our employees. This includes part time and work from home employment innovations. Jake and I are apart of every single installation, service call, and maintenance. Our continued involvement keeps overhead low and quality of workmanship at it's highest.

Found these guys from a Tik Tok video- so glad we gave them a shot….they are GREAT- and are thorough (found a potential electrical issue), ethical, take pride in their work and go above and beyond when taking on a job!
Ive utilized their services for just general tune-up and maintenance as well as on emergency basis when AC went out in the dead of summer.
Reasonably priced, local in north Sac, small business I highly recommend!!

We hired Ecology Air Innovations to move our AC unit from the back of our house to our side yard. It ended up costing $7000, took approximately a month to get done after contacting them, and we have had to have the unit serviced less than a year later. You can get the same work done for a lot less and not have to suffer their inflated prices and unprofessionalism. I reached out to get an itemized invoice for my records since ours only had a total price without a cost breakdown. Mark sent it with snarky notes, attacks on my intelligence, and name calling embedded in the invoice that I need to use in the records for my home run business. The invoice states: "Included in Above estimate!! for idiots who can't read." "We obviously didn't use the one you ran for your pool equipment." "The listed below is the itemized cost for whatever "project manager" is to ignorant to recognize from the previous invoice." He also appears to have been confused or just made up cost amounts up because the first itemized invoice sent to me had our electrical work at less than half of the actual cost which I corrected him on in text and then was sent an updated copy with the correct price.

Furnace tune-up was very professional. Jake arrived on time and was very efficient in his work. He found the capacitor was out of spec so I had that replaced. Very knowledgeable, I learned a lot about my furnace. We also discussed future options for going all electric.

Mark came out the day after I submitted an online request for an appointment. He was punctual and professional and explained everything he was doing. He had the part he needed in his truck, and he had my furnace up and running in no time. While he was here, he took a look at my air conditioner and informed me that it looked fine and was ready for the summer. These guys are honest and professional -- I was very happy with my experience.

I decided to go with Ecology Air Innovations after my 33 old HVAC system crapped out on me. They installed a brand new Trane two stage heat pump, variable speed air handler, and all new ducts. I had been looking into Trane equipment because, while a little more expensive, I wanted to go with something reliable and Trane is one of the best. I received multiple quotes on that type of equipment and Ecology Air Innovations beat everyone else's price by a mile. Mark, the owner of the company, initially responded to my request and responded back very quickly. He came out and gave me the estimate the next day. He was very professional and helped me answer any questions I had. Three of his employees came out to do the work the next week and finished the total install in two days. They were all very professional and polite. One final thing, I received a SMUD rebate with the new install that was only good through the end of the month, and I was doing this very last minute...Mark jumped through hoops for me to make sure all of the paperwork got submitted in time so that I received the rebate. I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend them!

I called the number on Thursday July 18th to get service on my AC and got an automatic text reply from Mark. I told him what I needed and he said he may have an appointment for the following Monday. I gave him my address and didnt hear back. On Monday the 22nd I texted him again and asked if he still had an appointment available. Didnt hear back. Wednesday the 24th I called and left a message trying to figure out what exactly is happening at this point. It is now the 28th and I still have not heard back to get my ac looked at. I am currently trying to get my money back that I spent on this coupon. Very disappointed with the horrible communication.

Great. Purchased the AC check coupon for $29, and they replaced the MERV filter. the other quote I got on this service was a minimum of $100.00 I recommend this company highly. They are more responsive and easier to get answers from the original AC installer I used (JR Putnam)

It went really well. I called them because the unit wasn't cooling. I had recently bought the house and had been warned during the home inspection that it would likely need service/work fairly soon (maybe replacement). Brad, the guy who came out, was very nice and efficient. He spent a long time--I would guess maybe 6-8 hours over two days (in blistering heat) diagnosing the problems and fixing them. When I said I REALLY didn't want to replace the whole system right now, he LISTENED and found a middle ground that has it working (and guaranteed) for two years, and includes two maintenance visits over the coming year. The office people were also great to work with, and I noticed that Brad called the boss a few times to check that he was giving us the best possible deal. I feel quite sure I will go back to Ecology Air in a few years when the time comes to change out the whole system.

Brad was terrific. He came and did an A/C tune up which cost $29.00 as well as a diagnostic test which cost $49.00 to determine why the AC wasn't blowing cold air. He discovered the capacitor was blown. He replaced the capacitor which cost $189.00 and the AC started blowing cold air.

The initial consultation went very well. They were the only contractor that actually went up into the attic to see the duct work and address the cooling problems that I was having in the house. They fixed the issues and now the house gets plenty of air everywhere! The new unit works great so far. I also had them install a whole house fan which they did a great job as well. Last summer, Ecology Air Innovations Inc did an excellent job of replacing my old HVAC system with the new system. Price point is very reasonable as compared to 4 other companies in town. Mark and Jake were punctual, knowledgeable and very competent. I waited 4 months to write a review to make sure of the results Overall, very satisfied with the service outcome. Highly recommended to anyone who have doubts with smaller local companies.

The unit that was installed was defective so they worked with the manufacturer to get the problem fixed. When the issue arose again 3 months later, they insisted with the manufacturer to again fix the issue. Fast forward to one year later the issue CAME UP AGAIN. Ecology Air demanded that I get a new unit as it was clear that the first unit was faulty. They were successful in getting me a brand new unit. Well, fast forward a year again, the SAME ISSUE CAME UP. Ecology Air tried working with the manufacturer to have them give me yet again another unit. When this company was being jerks about it, Ecology Air went above and beyond and took the faulty unit off my roof and replaced it with a much better manufacturer at no charge to me. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. They really stand behind their customers and their best interests. They are extremely responsive to emails and texts and I would definitely recommend working with them 100%. Seriously hire this company you will not be disappointed.

It was great. They were very good. We were having that big heat wave and all of a sudden, our air conditioner quit. I called him and he called back that very day. He came out, I think that was a Friday, and he came out on Monday. It was fine. I was very pleased. Because we had extra work done, it cost more than the Big Deal purchase. It still cost us another $700-some. I have nothing to compare the price with, but we needed it fixed and they could do it right away. The quality, I would say, was great. The responsiveness was excellent. They were right here on time. Their professionalism was very good.
