Edram Construction provided multiple options for proper and safe repair of a timber support beam. As part of the initial quote, the options were explained in detail and we were able to come to consensus on a satisfactory repair despite my own lack of knowledge in the area. The engineer was knowledgeable and provided an accurate estimate before the work began and was available on site for most of the day. The workers were professional, respectful, and friendly. They protected the area and kept it clean. Upon completion, the only evidence that work was done was as agreed. The nearby affected drywall, paint, and trim was replaced as good as new and still matching the untouched surrounding areas. The work was completed in a single day and overall it went very well.

Basement in bathroom in basement turned out great very professional work. Would highly recommend them. Leak in the wall has been fixed they are in the process of fixing dry wall and replacing carpet and painting. Turning out great. Edram Construction are very knowledgable and great to work with. <p>I received Edvin's name (owner of Edram) as a referral. I asked him to come over and look/bid on a job that I was having done. He was on time and friendly. Edvin came with some of the best ideas to maximize the space. At this point I had spoken with two other contractors and like his ideas and plans the best. I also liked that he would be on site doing most of the work himself. He and his team started quickly and worked hard when on sight. Edvin's communication and attention to detail was key in making sure there was not any issues that need to be redone or changed. This limited the time of the job and addition costs to me. He allowed me to order some of my own finishes and materials, even though this cost him and the team additional time on the job waiting for them to arrive. The finished product was great they did a 100% custom job ad a very fair price. I highly recommend this company and have giving his name and number to others all ready.</p> <p><br></p>

These guys were GREAT! <br /> Day 1 Monday - They arrived at 6am and ended at 6:30pm!!!! <br /> Day 2 Tuesday - They arrived at 7am and ended at 1pm!! <br /> Edvin is very professional and very easy to work with. The reason why I chose Edvin for the job was because he was willing to negotiate his price as I did receive 6 other estimates for the work from other top Angie's List companies and he was able to start in a timely manner. The quality of work was also great. I was very particular, which I'm sure was annoying, but Edvin worked with me and still kept it professional. I wanted to make sure the paintwork for my first house was perfect so that I would be satisfied. I was very satisfied with his work and I hope to work with him again on my next projects. <br /> <br /> <br />

The work was done very professionally and timely and to my complete satisfaction. The finished product is absolutely beautiful. At conception, they came up with ideas that would make the room better for my elderly mother which I appreciated. Also, along the way with constructon, if I wanted to change something, they always were agreeable and would do what I was requesting. They finished the addition in the time frame promised. Attention to detail was incredible. There was no punch list at the end. It was just perfect. I would definitely use them again, in fact I have. During this last major rain storm, there was water coming in around my chimney. I called Edvin. He came out at night with a worker to get up in my attic and determine where the water was coming from. They determined the problem and corrected it within a few days. My basement also flooded during this period. They were there on the spot the next day removing my carpeting, cutting out the drywall at the base so no mold would grow and installing a sub-pump. I love this company, and would highly recommend them. <br />

I contacted Edram Construction after my windows started leaking. Edvin, the owner, came that afternoon to assess the situation and provided his recommendations and estimates.They came out a few days later and completed the work. The crew was on time, and very professional. It is clear that they take pride in their work. It was an extremely positive experience - I would definitely hire again! <br />

It was okay. There was a delay in getting the service scheduled because he said he was over booked. When he did come we consulted over what we could do to fix my closet doors. Two different approaches and the door was fixed. I don't think he was comfortable with the work or the route I chose to take.

The painting job was just fine, but unfortunately their <br /> crew used "simple green" cleaner to remove <br /> the paint drops and spackling that got on our hardwood floors throughout the <br /> home. <br /> This cleaner <br /> interacted badly with the floor stain, and caused streaking and a cloudy <br /> film on the floors in every room. We had to clean the floors at least 3 <br /> x each and and re-stain in places to fix the situation. <br /> Otherwise, this provider would have received an overall A rating. <br /> <br />

<ol> <li></li> </ol> Everything started out fine. Contractor contacted me promptly and scheduled a time to do a estimate of the repairs that I wanted done. The night of the estimate he showed up 30 minutes late. I didn't mind at the time because traffic is always hectic in the evening. He provide me an estimate of $875.00 and I asked if he could do any better because the job wasn't that large. He countered with an estimate of $850.00. I told him that I would talk it over with my wife and get back to him. I <br /> honestly thought it was pretty pricey but I wasn't having a lot of luck getting people to come out to the house for estimates. <br /> After speaking to my wife we decided to go ahead and try the company and get the job completed. The work was scheduled to be completed on 6-18-15 at 11:00 am. I waiting till 11:30 and then texted him to see what was going on. He told me that <br /> he was running late and would be there in 30 minutes. He didn't even call to inform us that he was running late. When he finally showed up at 12:30 his crew got right to work. They seemed very rushed while working and finished up around 5:45. Once I got home I noticed I few issues that I wanted to have addressed. One was the patch going up my stairs that was not sanded down to finish and the other was the replacement border in the bathroom was not the same size as the original <br /> border and did not match up. The next day I received a text message from him asking how I felt about the work. When I told him about the concerns I had he told me that I would have to pay extra to have him come back out to fix the <br /> borders that didn't match up but he would fix the drywall repairs . I asked when he would return and he said he <br /> would contact me first thing the next Monday and I still have not heard back, even after I tried to contact him myself twice. <br /> The last problem occurred when I tried to pain the bathroom. As soon as I rolled the first coat of primer <br /> on the wall a big flake of the mud fell of and now there is a hole in the wall. Regardless I feel horrible knowing <br /> that I paid a lot of money for a job that was not completed and will not be remedied. I would not recommend this <br /> company to anyone. <ol> <li></li> </ol> <br />

I had been having drainage problems in my backyard and over the years water had rotted out the sill and in heavy periods of rain the water found its way into the basement. I signed up for the Big Deal from Edram Construction for $199 of six hours of carpentry services. I contacted Edram Construction and I described the problem to Edwin and we made an appointment. At that time Edwin informed me that the Big Deal included no costs for materials and if the job went beyond the Big Deal hours the labor rate was $50 an hour. <br /> On April 10, Edwin and his helper arrived at 7:30 AM and got right to work removing the old threshold and removing the rotted wood. After about an hour Edwin informed me that he needed to find materials at the closest home improvement supply store. At this point he wished to confirm the fact that the materials were my expense and I was in agreement with that.Edwin and his helper were gone almost an hour and on his return he informed me that my metal threshold of almost 40 years was no longer the standard size. Edwin said he would have had to special order a new metal threshold and I agreed with his decision to just reinstall the old threshold (thankfully he had the foresight not to damage it). The problem I had was that I was charged $100 for that hour when Edwin and his helper were on the search for materials.Obviously Edwin needed to be compensated for his time but I thought also picking up the helper's time was somewhat unfair. <br /> Edwin and his helper went back to work and finished at about 11:30. They did quality work and I was very pleased with the outcome. The fit between the bottom of the door and the top of the threshold was good and Edwin had used a sealant on the exterior where the bottom of the sill met the floor of my retaining walls. <br /> When Edwin submitted his final bill he charged me for the materials but he also charged me an additional $100 explaining it was $50 an hour for each additional man. I will take some of the blame for this misunderstanding of the labor charges but I do question whether the helper had the same level of experience and skills to be making the same labor rate as Edwin. In the end I was very satisfied with the work and had to give Edwin an excellent rating for that. Given the other circumstances I did not feel like I could give Edram Construction an Overall Rating of Excellent. <br />

He did a wonderful job. They did a beautiful job. I like the quality; the work was great. They were efficient, extremely pleasant and great to work with. They bought the supplies and I reimbursed them. It was just super easy. They were a wonderful and sweet people. I wanted to use them again because they did a great job on the garage.
