Our technician (Tyler) couteous, professional, efficient and informative . He quickly diagnosed the issue then breif us. After understanding the issue and options, we moved forward with the repair and was completely efficeint! It is rare to find such professionalism! Oscar from Edward’s Appliance notices me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and approx how long before he would be at my home. He was professional, courteous, and it was a pleasure talking with him as he repaired my dryer. I would hire this company for future items if needed. He explained in detail what was wrong with my dryer, how he came to that diagnosis and the breakdown of parts and labor.

The company misdiagnosed the problem, over my objections that I had another diagnosis I had received. They installed new parts that did not fix the problem and then told me I needed to implement the solutions I had previously told them about. I had to force the repairman to uninstall the parts he brought. The part I needed is available on Amazon for about $150.00. They wanted me to pay $900 plus the cost of the additional part.

Terrible. Arrived on Sat 2/14/2026. Spent about 20 min evaluating the problem. For both the washer and Dryer. He said the Dryer was fine, my vent should be cleaned. Which we did. The washer, he said, needed a new motherboard and latch for the door. He ordered it and said it would be in on Thursday or Friday. I called on Friday. He said it would be in on 2/21/26. Called on 2/21/26, he said he could install it on Monday, Feb. 23rd, between 12N -4PM. He arrived about 2:30 pm. Replaced the motherboard. Just as he was finishing up He told me the outlet was not working (TripSwitch). He asked me if I had a tester for the outlet. We tested it, but could not reset it. We changed outlets, and He started it. We paid him the balance. He packed up and left. He never waited to see if it went through a cycle. He was out of here a little after 3 PM. After he left, we put a load of clothes in and started it. I went for over 2 hours. and stopped with water in the washer. Could not restart. Everything that was happening before the first visit continued. I had to take the wet clothes out, and the water is still in the drum. I think he might have blown the motherboard and our outlet. Now we are 10 days without a Washer or Dryer. After we did everything he said. The dryer still does not work properly. Clothes are still damp. The Washer is sitting with water in it. We used Angi to help us select a reputable service. But are extremely disappointed. We want a refund of $968.50, plus $25.81, which it costs us to repair the outlet. Total of $994.31. Can't complete the survey as you do not explain which number is best or worst.

Tyler called me within moments after I inquired for a service call on Angi. He was at my house ten minutes later. Within about 30 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and replaced the main control board on my washing machine and had it up and running. He was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I will definitely call him again if I need service on any appliances.

We could not be more pleased with the work by this company. They were polite, businesslike, prompt, and efficient. Their technician was clearly experienced in this repair and brand (Bosch), and evaluated and solved the issue. Unlike a different company we used previously, which used after-market imitations which failed in just a few months, Edwards used original Bosch parts, This meant that the repair was not rock-bottom cheap, but we're confident that it was done correctly and will last.

Technician arrived at appointed time and isolated the problem in 5 minutes. He explained the problem and the solution, then gave a quote on the repair cost and time needed to fix the dryer. 10 minutes later he was finished and our dryer was working like new. Courteous and professional service technician. Very knowledgeable and easygoing. We highly recommend this company for appliance repair.

My wife was home on the day and time of the repair. My wife told me the amount we were charged and that the repair man told her that there was no way to test a refrigerator compressor, but that he replaced a motor and cleaned some coils. She said he told her the compressor will come back in 48 to 72 hours and the freezer will start working. However, there are no guarantees. By the time Friday came there was no change in the freezer working, so I did a Google search on whether a compressor can be tested, which stated there are several ways to test one. So I called the company and asked for the owner of the company. The person said that he is the owner, and recognizing my phone number, he stated that he was the one that worked on my refrigerator. My next statement was said as a means of expressing my wife's desperation to get the freezer fixed and told him my wife has stage four pancreatic cancer and was desperate to get the freezer fixed. I then said that I Googled ways to test a compressor and he cut me off to tell me what I found. He then said he did nothing wrong and everything he did was according to New Mexico electrician standards. I told him he needed to make this right and he became even more defensive and said paying $300.00 is better than paying $3,000.00, and then he said he needed to attend to his pregnant wife. I told him if he did not make this right I would sue him and he said to go ahead because he would gladly counter-sue me and hung up the phone. This man lied to my wife about testing a refrigerator compressor and had zero remorse about scamming us.

"We went out to diagnose the unit and did test the compressor by testing the prongs. The compressor did test good, but there is no way for us to test the internal components of the compressor without tapping into the sealed system. We did not do that because the issue begins with the start device that was shorted and needed to be replaced before other issues can be determined, so that is what we replaced. This is the only part that we repair and cannot offer a warranty on. This was explained in detail and customer was informed it was a 50/50 success rate for that repair. Customer signed off on the invoice there is no guarantee of the repair working and there is no refund if it does not work as it is an electrical component and cannot be returned once installed. We attempted to explain this to the husband when he called. We are not electricians and did not state that we followed New Mexico electrician standards. We have copies of the signed invoices and would be happy to provide them."

Extremely disappointed by the service provided by Tyler your service tech We contacted your company thru Angies list. Upon telling us our freezer would take $ 800-1000 to replace the compressor. After stating a possible non warranty repair Tyler immediately started promoting some type repair to compressor that would remedy the solution. Tyler stated he had repaired two freezers day before by installing the same part.After making repairs Tyler tested repair and said freezer was working fine and in about four hours it would be chilled enough for use. After eight hours freezer was still not working properly. Wife called Tyler next day and was told repair's were not covered by warranty. As we noticed in past negative reviews this is not the first time your service tech has done what appears to be a bait and switch. We fully intend to file a complaint with the BBC. Repair scams like this give all the other honorable appliance companies a bad name.

I have read all the good reviews, and this is my experience with Edwards Appliance Repair the call turned out to a total scam, Tyler came to my residence to fix my dryer, he said the wheels needed replacing and the thermostat was out, the charge was $387.00 (expensive) well I wouldn't mind paying that if services were performed, I came home that evening to find the dryer still not heating, I left a message and called Tyler back the next morning. He came by and called me to say the vents to my dryer where clogged and he had fixed the dryer quoting him "don't use the dryer till the vents are cleaned" the dryer never worked and Edwards Appliance refused to call or text me back when I contacted them again the next day. I had to call another appliance service which thankfully was trustworthy and honest, my VENTS where not clogged and after taking the dryer apart all he could see was one little part was replaced so my recommendation is don't trust Edwards Appliance please get a second opinion before using .

"We fixed the rollers in the dryer for this customer which are now working well. According to Blue Book, we undercharged the customer for this repair by about $100 and since we were in the unit, we also replaced the thermostat. The thermostat failed so we went out to this customer'[Member Information Removed] house to replace the thermostat a second time. The repair was at no charge to the customer the second time. It was recommended that a dryer vent clean be completed as a clogged dryer vent can cause the thermostat to burn out. Our company does not do this as it is considered hvac, not appliance repair. As we understand it, the customer did not get their vents professionally cleaned and the thermostat failed again. The customer then left us multiple bad reviews and disputed the charge rather than attempting to work this out with us. We are currently waiting a response from the dispute resolution team. Our warranty is 90 days so the part is no longer under warranty. We have signed invoices with the dryer vent cleaning recommendation and stating the unit was in working order when we left."
