Would not recommend. Edwards company displayed their storage having many high end brands to choose from regarding heating and cooling but turns out they only have one option, a cheap one too. Did some research for average costs for heating replacements and it turns out I was being overcharged by around $1,000. The individual doing the service said the whole replacement and installment would take only roughly 2 hours but actually took him 8 hours altogether. Wouldn’t recommend Edwards again ever to anyone but my enemies.

Scott came to my home to repair a water heater. Very pleasant and professional, finished the job and went out of his way to leave to get the part and come back to finish the job. However, I opted for an email receipt which came but it did not have a breakdown of costs just the total that I paid. What company doesn't give a breakdown of costs to the customer? This was Tuesday May 23 and It's Thursday now and I have been requesting an itemized receipt since Tuesday, because the water heater company will reimburse the parts. I have been told it has to go to accounting, I have also been told that the man that handles the receipts is really busy. I have asked to speak to a manager and was told they will have him call me. My next avenue is going to the shop in Dearborn to get to the bottom of this. Very frustrated with this company. May 31 Day 8 still waiting on itemized receipt.

I contracted services to begin on 11/21/22 and made a $3000 deposit. We changed the scale of our reno and decided services were not needed. Canceled on 11/19/22 however my deposit still has not been refunded. Every time I call its the same story about the accounting person being unavailable and my call will be returned which it NEVER is. All I want is my money!!! I would suggest you think a 1000 times before using this company.

FRAUD BIG SCAM ARTISTS !!!! I had sewer backup. Called Edwards Plumbing and they came out right away. Put a camera down the sewer and said the pvc pipe had dropped where it connected to existing pipe. They needed to dig and I needed a sewer. Quoted $5000 to do the job I said OK I need a sewer. Days later they dug it up and when they revealed the pipe it was not dropped. Then for some reason, I don't know why, they dug another 15 foot back and found a rubber boot connecting two pvc pipes and said that was not good and replaced the pipe with glue. Charged me another $250 on top of their estimate. "Added unseen expense?" At that time the city required rubber boots to connect when the sewer was done in pvc. They continued to run a snake thru old existing pipe and cut thru a lot of roots to open flow. The roots were the problem not a dropped pipe. Seven months later I was selling the house and the sewer did not pass camera inspection. I called Edwards and they came out when I was at work. Said they found broken existing sewer pipes and need to dig up sidewalk and replace to the street. Estimate was $6700. I had no sewer problems so I said no and told them they scammed me on the first repair and I'm not doing it. I called another plumber and they ran a camera down and it was all intact not broken, perfect all the way to the main sewer. I saw it with my own eyes. Edwards was trying to scam me again. Had a few roots cleaned out (Edwards missed) with the new plumbing company for less than $200. Edwards is a Big scam rip off. Now I have to call my lawyer. FRAUD FRAUD

I called the company after they scammed me out of 414 dollars. The manager said he would call me the next day but never did. When i was able to get him on the phone he was very rude showed no empathy and hung up in my face. I called the main office amd they advised the owner would call me monday between 8 and 12. He never called. I got smart about it and recorded the.calls and caught them out right lying several times on the customer service line. One of the workers hung up on me like tje manager did the other said there was nothing she could do and she would transfer me to"somebody" all in all they took my money and are now jerking me around it is sicking to me that companies get away with being so sleazy and taking the money of working class people. We had a issue with our plumbing plumbing where are downstairs toilet was not flushing properly E after the 1st technician came out and charged $414 to clean out our pipes and put a cover over our outdoor pipe we noticed we still had a problem. So we called the company back they sent a technician out who was downright rude after breaking his tool in our pipe outside pipe he then advised that he would need to go to the office and get another part and that he would come back. After hours of waiting we called the company to see what time the technician will be coming back.. They said they could not reach the Technician John. Next we received a call from the manager Tony who advised we would need to have our yard dug up because the water was flowing the wrong way in our pipes. He later changed his story to say he needed to dig up the yard to clean the pipe. It was all a lie however because we called for a second opinion turns out it was a ball in the pipe it cost 180 dollars for the new company to do the job tjhat should have been done in the first place.

I live in Grand Blanc. I googled best plumbers in my area. Instead of choosing a very well co. in my city which I thought was very pricey I chose Edwards Plumbing & Heating. I saw good reviews. Scott who lives in Grand Blanc arrived with two msgs. that he would arrive shortly. Service was excellent. Scott was very professional, knowledgable & quick to replace my garbage disposal explaining everything, even giving tips to stop things from falling into it accidentally He checked my hose to the dishwasher to make sure it was not clogged. Put water in it to make sure it would drain. The dishwasher had an error msg. & had been running for 20 hrs. I'm elderly & couldn't risk going down in the basement. Thank God he shut the power off & advised me to check my warranty & call an appliance repair person. I' m very happy they give a senior disc. I will definitely recommend Edwards Plumbing & Heating to all my family & friends in Grand Blanc. I did get a more powerful disposal than what I had. So I was satisfied with the cost of Installation & discounts knowing Scott really went the extra mile in helping an elderly person out.

TERRIBLE! First the call center said we would be 'first." then after waiting the plumber called and said, "oops, I had to do a bid first." then, later, he called and said, "on Carpenter road getting supplies. actually arrived 3-4 p.m. in the afternoon. Dismantled everything then at 7:30 p.m. said he need to leave to get more supplies. he said, "i'll be back." But he had packed up all his tools - he clearly was not going to come back that evening. then he insisted on the rest of the payment for the job he had not completed. "it's pay day." he said. he then left. Call center called and said that someone could return between 2-5 p.m. the following day. Too little -too late. Going to hire a different plumber.

Worst experience I have ever had with a provider. They came on an initial emergency call. Did the work. It failed again immediately the next day causing more damage. I called back and they lied to me for two days saying would respond. No one ever came. I called Roto Rooter who fixed immediately. And as I seek a refund, their managers hang up the phone on me. Please avoid.

a young man came out and rather than use clean out removed the toilet and broke it. Did a lot of other damage. Diagnosis of the broken drain. sated costs in the area of $6,000. Offered financing through a credit card company. We got a second opinion and no broken pipe total cost was $1,500. Scam Beware

It went very well. Our technician was Robert Nelson. Robert was professional, nice, and did a fantastic job of installing our sump pump. I would definitely have Robert back for future home needs. Thank you for being available on a Sunday.

It’s been a year now since we had to have our front yard dug up. It’s only now that I can talk about it without being emotional. Edwards Plumbing and Heating has an inverse business model. They over-promise and under-deliver. A job that should have taken 8 days took 29 and it was always someone else’s fault. They came in and out of my house during a pandemic without masks. They re-flooded my basement twice, once by forgetting to put the sewer cap back on. I awoke to a thin layer of sludge. The second time, they neglected to put on the downspout after putting down a layer of sand in the hole by the house. A storm saturated the sand and began to leak into my basement through the wall. I stepped into quicksand that was up to my thigh putting the downspout back on. I called other contractors to try and get them to looking at our job. When they found out I had hired Edwards, they refused. One even laughed. They were practiced and relaxed as they treated me like an ATM. Ultimately, I had to treat them like prostitutes. I paid them to go away. Reasons to Hire Edwards Plumbing and Heating If you would like a poor job done for an exorbitant price If you like to look out into your front yard and see workmen idly looking at their cellphones If you cherish the thought of having your estimate jacked up to nearly twice the first estimate If you want to make a city inspector pity you You just like being ripped off

They came out right away and came back on Tuesday Sept 8 to install a new one. They charged me $2544 for a 50 gallon heater. They actually installed a 40 gallon and left my old water heater and said they would be back in a couple of days to pick it up. I waited a week and no one came. I then called Sept 16,18,22,23,24 and 25. Each time they said they would be out the next day for a pick up and they would check on a discount that I requested. On the 25th they credited my account for $100 to compensate me for the lesser gallon tank and dent in the tank. The actual cost of the 40 gallon tank was $809 at home depot and the larger one was $1,109 or $869. I spent 6 days waiting for a pick up of the old heater and each time there was a no show or call. I would call and they would say sorry then set up a new day. On the 25th they were suppose to be here between 8-12. I called at 11 to verify they were on the way and they said yes. At 1:00 another no show. I called and they said sorry that they will come out monday, no time specified.

I called their answering service at like 530 am (I woke up to water coming up my floor drains in basement), the service guy shows up around noon says its going to be $309 to snake the main with a 75 cable, works on my drian for a hour, cant get it open, my drain runs out the back yard its 73 feet from my house to fence line, says I need one of their guys to come with a 100 foot cable, Nobody called or showed up the rest of day. Then the next day a guy from their company calls and says he recommends jetting the line to clear out all the tree roots $600, I ok it then 2 guys come out blast open my drain, then they put a camera down it, and I already have standing water in line, they use some type of tester in back yard that detects the head of camera 10 feet down, they say my pipe is partially collapsed and $7500 to dig it out later in week. They would give me the $600 credit off bill and another $500 credit if I pay cash, and would then get 20 year warranty, my drain is working some. Monday I had a different company come out for 2nd opinion, 5 minutes after installing his snake, he tells me my pipe is not broken, he works on it for like a hour and pulls all kinds of roots back out, like enough to fill a couple of 2 liter pop bottles, I have a 6inch main, he changed the cutter on his snake multiple times and my blockage was around 95 feet out, all set now.

I called in the evening and the representative told me it would be $149 for the service call because it was not during normal hours. I could see that. He called back and said the plumber would be here within 30 to 45 minutes. I called back after an hour and they said the plumber was delayed and would be another hour. At 11:15 pm the plumber showed up. After looking at the problem, he said it would be $325. I asked it that was the total including the $149 service fee. He explained it was $325 plus the service fee. Almost $500 and it took only an hour to complete. What a RIP off. Never again.

They overcharged, even after they advised me to get hold of my own parts. I was still charged for two visits, even though I was told that would not happen. In some ways, the fixture is in worse shape than when they arrived. I spoke with someone in the office, she stated that a supervisor would call me and they never called. Very unprofessional and less than concerned about the quality of the service they provide, let alone the high overcharge.

We called at 1:08 to place a service call on 12/23. We asked specifically how much it was to snake the line and the customer service rep was unable to give us an amount and fed us the line that every house was different. We were given a window from 2:00 - 7:00 that the plumber would arrive. At 5:09, we received a phone call stating the the plumber would be at our house in about an hour. At 5:23, we were told that the plumber had to pick up the snaking equipment and that he would arrive around 7:30 - 8:00. We waited until 8:25, hoping he would arrive. We called back and were told the plumber would arrive between 15 and 30 minutes. He did not arrive until 9:20. He then proceeded to 'diagnose' the problem - which was not needed, as I had stated we needed our sewer line snaked - by pouring water down the drain and stating "yes, you need to snake the line". He then told us it would be $300 to snake the line. We declined the service and were charged a $59 'diagnostic' fee. When I spoke with the company manager and explained my frustration, he first tried to cut us a deal and have the plumber turn around to service our line (I'll give you 10% off, come on, you already paid the diagnostic fee!). He explained the outlandish price could have been because it was so late (we had called at 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon. If we had known it was going to take this long/this much to get someone out to our house, we would have called other companies). He told me we hadn't been waiting that long and that the plumber had come to our house at 8:30 and that all trucks have GPS tracking in them. I explained we had placed a call 8:25 wondering when the plumber would arrive. He kept trying to convince me that he could give me a good deal and mentioned about eighty times that every house is different... blah blah blah. We live in a ranch, $300 to snake the line is almost three times as much as what we were charged by another company. To sum it up, I would not recommend. After posting my review to Google and Facebook, the owner harassed me. I've attached images of his messages. Very unprofessional.

Dan McCune did a wonderful job. He used two machines through three different cleanout drains until the clog was finally located and freed up. He was knowledgeable and persistent, and he solved the problem. When he finally left at midnight, we were back in business. We are grateful!

They wanted to charge a $250 fee because it was a weekend, so we declined and scheduled for during the week. In the interim, I used instructions in the manual to rectify the problem myself, but my fix only lasted a week, so we had them come by. He did the exact same thing I did (cleaned fuel sensors). I apparently had not cleaned them well enough... being new to tankless heaters, I didn't want to damage anything by being too abrasive with any of the small parts. So he literally sanded build up off of the sensors and charged me $175. No parts were replaced, nothing was broken... he took out <20 screws, inspected MY work, and sanded 3 fuel rod sensors that are less than an inch long each. $175??? What a joke. Lesson learned.

I will not hire this company again. The dispatcher misled me on the pricing, which she said would be $60.00 plus the cost of the repair. I knew that the material needed was a short length of PVC pipe, so the price seemed reasonable. When the plumber arrived he informed me that the rate for replacing the PVC pipe would be $225! He ended up charging $202, which still seems high. Had the dispatcher leveled with me, I would not have agreed to the work. I've given a D for Quality and another D for Professionalism. This refers to the quality and the professionalism of the dispatcher I spoke with. It is not a rating of the plumber who performed the work. The quality of his work and and his professionalism were fine.
