Steve called and was able to come see the place within the hour. Got me an estimate which was pretty good compared to others I had. Super polite and was knowledgeable. Literally answered every questions I had, person, texts and calls. I needed it urgently and he was able to start within 2 days. Project took 2 days and the crew did an amazing job. Will definitely be reaching out for future paint projects.

First I would like to say thank you Steve and Michelle. They are both wonderful people and very professional. We hired them to repaint the whold entire house that's a 3 bedroom with a 2 bathroom ranch style single story home. We also had them pressure wash the outside of the house, make some minor repairs, replace carpet for several rooms, and deep clean the house. We will be using their services again for our other home. Thank you Steve and Michelle again.

Perfectly. I was walked thru each detail of work and improvements around the exterior top to bottom that would be completed. I appreciated the suggestions for maintenance. I received an itemized report and estimate. The start and finish of the project was as previously explained and we went over the finished product. No issues to report at all. When I have another project, EGEJ will be my first call.

Don’t look any further if you need painting done at your home! Michelle, Steve and their staff were very kind and professional. have nothing but high reviews for Steve and Michelle. Upon first meeting them was a joy. My husband and I told them the sevices that was needed for our home and they were very knowledgeable about what was to take place. Some days the weather was not cooperating which made it a little uneasy for my family because you cannot paint the exterior of a home if it rains lol but Steve and Michelle made sure that they continued to communicate with us with other dates and times to finish the work. During the process they came to our home every morning with their staff to make sure everything was to our expectations. They knocked on our door, they asked us questions of how we liked the exterior and Michelle was also cleaning and removing debris before the final results. My family and I was so greatful to find EGEJ Painting to make our home more beautiful then what it was before and to drive up in our yard daily to a house that seems like a new construction from just the exterior paint is and was amazing. Steve and Michelle thank you both so much for the excellent quality of service that EGEJ Painting provides for your clients and we will be contacting you both again for new projects.

The painters missed a wide variety of spots on the walls when they were painting. Light and switch plates were broken and some were place back in the wrong places. Bigger issues were that they reinstalled wood blinds backward that they took down to paint (my spouse and I had to take them all down and reattach them); they also spray painted the wood blinds such that they stuck together and we couldn't pry some of them apart to be able to open and close them. The painters also broke the microwave in our kitchen (it had a safety lock door and one of the painters tried to pry it open and broke it). On another day at the end of the 2 week project, they left water running from our kitchen sink and the water damaged our wood flooring. They admitted fault and sent out their insurance appraiser... but the appraiser report said they couldn't determine exactly how the damage happened. We also had the owner come visit halfway through the project because an upstairs toilet used was overflowing; the house was empty - no furniture - no people living in it, just painters in and out; she acknowledged that and had the toilet fixed. Another painting issue: we paid extra for the painters to paint an attached sunroom and they only painted the window frames in half of the sunroom! After calling them to return and fix issues and them coming back and causing more issues, we gave up and did the work ourselves. I would NOT recommend them for anyone to use.

We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the experience, and we’d like to offer some clarification regarding the project to help provide a fuller picture. First, regarding the microwave: we understand it was accidentally damaged during the project, and we provided full reimbursement for its replacement. That amount was given directly to the realtor to resolve the matter. In terms of the scope of work, the contract and invoice clearly indicated that the painting services were limited to the walls of the Sunroom only and did not include trim. The project involved a color change from yellow to gray, and the work was completed as agreed. During the final walkthrough, the realtor’s husband personally inspected the space and expressed his approval of the finished work. Concerns were also raised about the placement of electrical outlets. We’d like to clarify that no outlets were placed back incorrectly. The realtor’s husband inspected the light fixture covers, and we addressed any minor issues brought to our attention. Some covers were already broken prior to our work, and we recommended replacing them—especially given the new wall color. As for the window treatments, we refinished the wooden shutter blinds using spray paint, not regular blinds as mentioned in the review. The realtor’s husband confirmed that each shutter was functional and that none were stuck; he personally verified that all opened and closed properly. We would also like to respond to the concern about the kitchen sink. At no point was water left running during or after our work. Our team only used water when necessary, such as for cleaning or washing hands. On the day of the final walkthrough with the realtor’s husband, there was no running water observed. Additionally, the insurance appraiser’s report noted that any plumbing-related issues were determined to be the responsibility of the homeowner. Prior to starting the project, our crew also identified existing concerns with one of the toilets, which were documented in photographs and shared with the realtor at the time. We take pride in operating with professionalism, responsibility, and transparency. While we believe the concerns have been addressed, we remain available if there are any additional questions or clarifications needed."

Steve and Michelle did an excellent job on my interior ceiling. They painted it and added the stippling texture to it. They were very polite, professional, punctual, and considerate. Even with clean up they went above and beyond. They also gave me a fair quote which I believe was within reasonable expectations compared to other businesses who tried to over charge. The value can truly be seen in the end results. I would 100% recommend their services to anyone. EGEJ painting is a company you won’t regret doing business with.
