Although asthetics is a part of tree work, the science behind it is far more important. The immediate satisfaction associated with improper but "cool looking" tree work can eventually be deadly for a tree, and will never allow for a tree to live as old, be as strong or as pleasant to look at. Every cut is permanent. Uneducated cuts will leave permanent damage, create unnecessary risk and ultimately result in higher cost to the tree owner long term as big breaks or death become likely. On the other hand, educated cuts made on trees, especially if cared for properly since being young, can be structurally sound, extremely easy on the eyes, and require minimal maintenance.

We, cut down and removed the Bottle Tree crowding the Elm for free to meet your budget and minimize future dead wood in the Elm, as well as eliminate structural defects as limbs maneuver unnaturally for sunlight..I firmly believe that if a tree does not need drastic work, doing drastic work will cause more a lot more harm than good. Although we did not do much besides dead wood and a few structural corrections, we did climb out on every main limb and checked for defects.
