Electra Housekeeping & Babysitting Services

I used Electra in the past. She was already professional but this time she was 2 hours late and she worked 5 hours total in 2 Apts. She broke my glass fridge shelf and told me to mail her a check what I thought was fair. I sent her $100 for 5 hours labor. She called me and texted me the next week and badgered me for an additional $100. She was very unprofessional this time and I am not sure if I will use her in the future.

Electra was great! I decided to splurge on this offer since moving (with two babies) is hard enough as it is and I'm so glad I did. I bought the offer on May 1 and reached out to Electra right away to schedule the cleaning. She was very responsive and she was able to accommodate my preferred date. I saw she was located in Brooklyn and confirmed she was OK coming to Staten Island and she said it was no problem, she would take public​ transportation. We set the time of 10am and she was super punctual. I'm a stickler for communication and she was in constant communication. Confirming the address, confirming what she needed for the job (cleaning supplies) and confirming the day before to reassure me she'd be there. Electra worked alone and was crazy thorough. She asked me to check in after each section of the house to ensure it was to my satisfaction. There were two small things I asked her to do over once more and she did it no problem. I would definitely hire her again, she was lovely.

I had to chase to get them and the person they sent was angry and did not want to be there. It was not the owner or the regular team and was not happy to do the work and quit before the time was half over and work only half done.

It went very well, very satisfied. She did exactly as I asked her to do which is why I called her to come back.

Electra was an excellent cleaner and overall person. She actually came early and was very attentive and always checked with us to make sure that the job she did was to our satisfaction. I would definitely hire her again!

I purchased a deal through Angie's List for 6 hours of home cleaning from Electra's Cleaning service and I am extremely unsatisfied with the quality of the service and the professionalism of this "business." Electra sent what she said was her "friend" Cosette to clean my house on 11/12/16. It is unclear if this person is an actual employee of the business so that raised red flags for me off the bat (I'm letting a stranger into my home and I want to know that they are a legitimate employee of the company) but I gave them a chance. I told Cosette I needed the bathrooms, kitchen, and floors cleaned. After less than 4 hours, Cosette came to me and said she had completed all of the things I needed done. I trusted Cosette's word and let her go early since she said she did what I needed her to do. After Cosette had left, I began noticing things that were still dirty..the shower upstairs still had soap scum in it, the kitchen floor still had dirt on it when I went to wipe up a spill and the paper towel came up brown, and I discovered dust balls in the corner of my bedroom. I have photo evidence of the dust balls on the floor and there is no way that could have accumulated in the short amount of time since Cosette cleaned my house. I "live chatted' with an Angie's list employee who told me that I couldn't get a refund because the work had already been completed so I needed to reach out to Electra's Cleaning and "give them a chance to make things right." I called Electra's and e-mailed but was unable to get in touch until Sunday 11/20/16. Electra was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. Instead of attempting to work things out with me, she put Cosette on the phone with me. Cosette argued with me, yelling at me over the phone! Electra said she would not refund me or at least come back to complete the additional 2 hours of cleaning that I paid for and never received. I believe given the shoddy quality of the work done that someone should have at least come back to complete the additional 2 hours that I paid for. I'm very disappointed that Angie's List didn't vet this so-called "business" better before offering a deal through your website. I trusted this business on the basis that it was vetted by Angie's List. I let a stranger into my home who was around my valuables and personal information and who knows what their background is, given how I was screamed at when I called to “make things right.” I will never use Angie's list again and I will tell my friends the same. I am extremely disappointed at the quality of businesses you are offering in your deals and the fact that Angie's List refused to help me when the business did not complete the work I paid them to do.

Electra came herself with one of her helpers and they cleaned my kitchen (including a thorough cleaning of the inside and outside of the refrigerator and the oven), the bathroom, the windows, and just generally tidied up my whole apartment.  I just move to a new apartment and they helped me pick out plants, buy all the necessary cleaning supplies, and she even surprised me by setting up all my framed family photos in a nice arrangement.  They were pleasant and I enjoyed having them help me get my new place in order.  Now my place is clean and brand-new!  <br> <br>I highly recommend anyone living in Brooklyn or NYC to hire their cleaning services.

Electra showed up herself. She cleaned the entire house and did a great job. She did everything I asked of her. Looking to have her come back on a monthly basis now.

She cleaned my entire home as well as the fridge. She also mopped and vacuumed as well as dusted which was excellent and gave me the opportunity to catch up on my work. I look forward to using this service again in the near future and I highly recommend. <br />

Electra responded to my inquiry promptly, and was patient when I had to re-schedule four times. She was not able to do the job herself on the day of work. Cosette was sent instead, who was punctual and pleasant to work with. She worked hard through the six hours we purchased. We had her back the next day as we needed lots of help!

Dolor did a fantastic job! The kitchen sparkled when she left. She removed dishes, pots, pans and appliances from cabinets, cleaned under and behind them, and returned everything exactly as it was. She even did the top of the frig which is a very difficult place to get to. She was also very sensitive to my needs and checked in with me about where and what I wanted. And she was very pleasant. If all of the staff is like Dolor, I highly recommend this service. You will not go wrong.

Electra & Ruth are amazing, they could read my mind- how I wanted my place to be organized & cleaned. Very nice ladies, they mop the floors twice- a West Indies method I was told. The amount of things I wanted done- they worked hard!

Excellent job cleaning a large house. Recommended the best products and did a thorough job!

Good. The 2 ladies showed up actually early but once they finished apt they were in a rush to finish the other 2 apts. They finished all 3 apts by 1:30pm

She did an excellent job. I would definitely call her again if I needed cleaning. I highly recommend anybody to use her.
