Quoted me 120.00 after i told hin exactly what i needed done, pictures etc ahead of time....charges 320.00....no fan remote, cut into ceiling and didnt repair it, not sure if thats normal and then didnt even clean up his mess. Would not hire again. Seriously, clean up your mess.....how lazy is that? Maybe he forgot.....regardless was overcharged.

he had to do considerable trouble shooting and investigating to identify why the circuit quit functioning. It was underground and had shorted out. he had to return to finish everything because it was wired incorrectly previously. A complex problem but resolved in a professional and intelligent manner.

We had a ceiling fan installed, loose outlets repaired and a light fixture on the garage repaired. I was concerned that the cover on the light fixture would be damaged when removed because it’s original and not easily replaced. Alex carefully removed the cover, identified & repaired the problem with faulty fixture and replaced the cover so that it appeared to have never been moved. Very professional service with prompt response to calls and quick job completion.

Alex was awesome from start to finish. He did good work. communicated well, was responsive coming back to the site several times to work around the schedule of other contractors. I would definitely use him again!

Alex was a outstanding Electrician!! Every question I asked him, he always had a well educated answer. All wiring was completed on time with no issues. Very professional work from Alex. I will be using his company again. They changed out my 200 amp panel and installed my Hot Tub.

Overall, this was the worst home improvement project I have ever been a part of! I feel like I'm being taken advantage of because I purchased a home re-wire deal so that I could bring my home, not the garage, up to date and feel safe. What I actually received was a half-hearted attempt at repairing one of the main problems (but not all of the problems) and a lot of grief and stress. I didn't want to have the existing wiring just fixed, I wanted everything re-wired/replaced like the Deal said and we discussed when Alex came and checked out the house. I'm now afraid I'll have the same issues of wires burning down the road and I will have to pay twice to get what I purchased with this deal. To start at the beginning, I had an issue with the wiring for about a third of my home, my home warranty wouldn't cover it because it was not installed properly prior to my purchasing the house. The electrician that was contracted bypassed the bad outlets (one in the living room, and one jumped off of it in the garage). They did extensive troubleshooting and gave a quote to fix the problem or to run a new circuit to split up the existing circuit (roughly $500 a circuit). Because of the age of my house I opted to not just run a new circuit because I wanted to get everything replaced. I saw the Angie's List Big Deal in my email and I emailed the company about if it included just livable space or the whole structure and asked if I could get a quote because my house was about 150 square feet larger than the deal. The owner responded that it included the whole structure being remodeled (both inside and outside), and we set up a time for him to come look at the job. When Alex showed up I told him exactly what the other electrician had found and exactly what the issue was with that one circuit. I also told him that if I had the TV running in the family room and I was vacuuming and had the mop running it popped a circuit. That I could only have the light on in the area I was vacuuming and mopping, and then when we moved rooms we had to turned off the light in that room and turn on where we were moving to. We went through the house and the outside to show where everything was. We turned off breakers so that we could see what each one was running. Alex made a point to let me know that drywall repair was not included in the deal, and I said that was fine as I had already lined up someone to fix that. We asked for a couple new outlets (one in the garage for the garage door opener and one outside for Christmas lights). I then asked how much it would be with the extra square footage and the extra 2 outlets. He said he could do it for the deal and said he required a 15% deposit for the supplies. I asked if purchasing the Angie's List would cover that and he said yes. We agreed on the day he would start and I logged in and purchased the deal. Alex and another man showed up on Monday morning and I was told they spent the morning troubleshooting and figuring out where wiring was ran. I was confused by this since I thought they were replacing everything, but they are the professionals so I didn't question it. When I got home from work I asked what rooms they were planning on working in next so that I could move the furniture there (my parents were going to be there and I didn't want to make them move heavy furniture). He told me he was going to finish up the outlets and lines he had already started. I thought he was just running a little bit behind, but on Wednesday he said he was finished and wanted my parents to pay the remaining amount. At no time did he tell me he wasn't planning on completing the rest of the house, until he said he was finished on Wednesday. When I asked when he was going to work in the other rooms he told us he was done. There is no way I would hire someone and pay them $2980 to basically do what would have cost me $500 with someone else. Even assuming that I had the other company run 4 new lines (probably 2-3 of which I really don't even need) it would have cost $2000. But I do not need new 3 circuits which run a total of 4 outlets almost all of which are in my garage or attic which are in areas where I can't even reach them (behind ladders, kayak storage, and the attic). When he said he needed to run 4 new circuits I thought that meant he was breaking up all of the overloaded circuits in the home, not just one. The deal said he was going to do a new circuit layout and I was under the impression that was what he was talking about. I've tried to sort this out with him but he is not willing to do anything. So I've gone the route of working with you, Angie's list, and the Registrar of Contractors so that I can have a neutral third party look at the work that was done versus what I purchased. He has texted me that I have 1 week to pay the amount due or he will have his lawyer put a lien on my house and have you start collection proceedings. I told him what I was doing with you and the Registrar of Contractors and that I would let him know what the outcome of these complaints were and to please not contact me again until it is settled. He is threatening my good credit and my home and I don't feel that the work in the Deal was completed according to what was supposed to be done.

We had a fantastic experience with Electric ArtTech! We couldn't be happier with the recessed lighting that the company installed in our home. Aleksandar made excellent aesthetic suggestions, he was meticulous in his measurements, and upon completion of the project he was especially careful in cleaning the small mess created. Even though the job required him to make two trips to the home improvement store, Aleks still completed the project within the time quote that he estimated. He was also especially calm, kind, and considerate to my son and pets. We will definitely be using Electric ArtTech should we have future electrical needs.

Very pleasant and prompt. They scheduled me quickly, and kept to their date commitments and price estimates. The job was to install 28 recessed lights. Showed up on time was able to do the project that day. Left and picked up the material needed for the job and was back in a short time. Got right to work. Covered everything, cleaned everything up. Very polite. Worked all day and came back the next day to complete the job. All of their staff I worked with were extremely friendly and helpful. Will be using in-house for future electrical services.
