They explained everything in detail and let me know all my options! They answered their own phone and did everything like promised! Customer Service is very important these days because it's a lost art. They started the job and stayed till it was finished. This company will be my choice for electrical work from now on.

They where early and fixed three outlets, and fixed my microwave cord. They even checked the electrical lines in the attic. They also fixed what the prior electric company did not fix the day before. The price was $250 dollars. Cheaper than other electrical companies quotes.

I found Electric City on Angie's List and chose them because of their high rating. An exterior fan, on a switch leg we had wiring problems with in the past, stopped working. To save the cost of a second service call, Electric city told us to buy a fan just in case it wasn't the wiring this time and they could install the new fan immediately. The next morning they arrived on time, found the fan to be the problem and quickly installed the new. I then remembered several other electrical problems we had since our new build and led the kind gentleman around our home and pool house as he quickly remedied the issues. Each time he fixed something he explained what he did and had some good advise. I normally do not write reviews but I felt this was one I needed to do as I have had three different local Electrical contractors in the course of a very large building project over the past five years and Electric City was refreshingly competent, professional and respectful. I highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job

We wanted to install light fixtures with onyx pendants and metal ceiling plates over our kitchen table and kitchen island. They were heavy (one was 45 pounds), very expensive and a little complex to install. I would call them art installations as much as lights. Jeff (the owner) came out to go over the job. He suggested we also replace some can lights we had in the kitchen with new one-piece LED installations, and we agreed. We also wanted a new outlet installed in a bathroom, and glass taken out of a high entry hall chandelier. Jeff understood the issues and said he could have his best pair of guys for this kind of install out the next day. They showed up on time and got to work. They were VERY careful and painstaking to get the lights installed securely and exactly right, and took care of the other jobs with skill and efficiency. They were also both friendly and personable. It took a little longer than expected, but I'm happy they were careful, and everything looks fantastic. Jeff came out later and we settled up the bill very fairly.

It went very well. We recently purchased the house and various issues were noted in the inspection report. An individual from Electric City came over late last week to review what needed to be done for the kitchen and all of the bathroom outlets which required some reconfiguration, making the outdoor outlets GFCI compliant, and replacing the ground rod which was much too short. Shane came by on Monday the 19th to do the work. After reviewing, he left to purchase the parts that he did not have. He returned and did a great job. I would hire them again.

Great ....

Honest. Fast. Affordable. Called regarding a rental property. These guys were at the house within 1 1/2 hours of calling them. Fixed the issue (dryer apparently tripped the breaker), checked outlets, breaker panel, and even climbed up on the roof to make sure there wasn’t a bunch of lint in the vent causing a problem. Could have said it was anything and charged me to replace unnecessary parts but they were honest and only charged the service call ($125, I was told ahead of time). I appreciated them and will definitely call them next time I have an issue with one of my rentals.

Quick response, went out and verified next working day, even responded on the weekend.
