ElectriCity started working on a job, (running power to a new shed,) in the beginning of October 2021, and we added an extra job shortly after. We were told that the second job, (panel replacement,) would only take two weeks. ElectriCity didn’t finish with the final inspection, (several of the earlier ones failed,) until February of this year. If you want an electrician who will lie to you every time he talks to you, hire Jacob Camora, (owner,) and ElectriCity. Jabob lied to us about pulling a permit for one job. He showed up with a permit dated the same day he showed it to us, not weeks before, as we were led to believe. He also lied about contacting the appropriate people to schedule inspections, both with the City of Las Cruces and El Paso Electric. We called both representatives after Jacob told us he had left messages for them. They both said they had not heard from him at all. If you want an electrician who will make many promises, (about the days his crew would show up, about sending a repairman to fix things his crew damaged, about calling back to discuss things, etc.) hire ElectriCity. If you want a contractor who has no respect for your property, and will damage things without mentioning it, hire ElectriCity. In my new shed, they drilled through the support studs to run the wiring. However, while drilling they split one of the studs almost all the way through, and just slipped the cable into the split, and never mentioned they had damaged it. They did a quick repair job with screws when I pointed it out, but did not use glue, so I will have to fix myself. They also removed several old electrical boxes from the back of the house, and left large rectangular holes in the siding. Jacob promised his buddy would fix it for us, but that buddy never showed up the many times Jacob said he would. We had to pay a handyman to fix that issue. While working on the original job, the power went out to one of our ceiling fan/lamps. Jacob swore the work he did couldn’t have caused that issue, even though it happened while his crew was working. They did fix the issue, (all of a sudden we had a current going through the neutral wire,) so I will give them credit for that. We are now waiting for a final invoice and list of work done by ElectricCity, but have received no response from Jacob for over a week after our last request. I have always heard about bad contractors, but never encountered one until I hired Jacob Camora and ElectriCity. If you want good quality work and service, I suggest you find another contractor.

Jacob is a very nice, polite young man. He arrived right on time, performed all the tasks we ask of him, and cleaned up after he finished. We feel he did an excellent job and will hire him again. We recommend him to all your customers looking to have electrical work and anything else he advertises for. Wish I could give him a higher rating than a 5.
